Hey brother sorry if it’s been asked before, I’ve got a 07.5 lmm that I’ll be DPF deleting. Which plugs do I need to disconnect on the EGR to disable it until I can get a good y bridge set up? Thanks in advance
How did you get the two nuts/studs off the back of egr cooler, next to fire wall?????????

I used a product called Free All on all of the bolts to the the pipes and they all came out easy.

On the cooler pipe boot how did you get it to not leak did you get a different clamp can you explain please I’m having problems cause egr cooler pipe they sent looks like your and is a different size then the original

thanks for your videos. they have been very informative. i have a question regarding the whole delete process. the throttle control is attached to the egr assy. and there seems to be no way to connect it to the WC fab kit i have. What am i missing?
You don’t need it. It stays with the egr when you remove it. They wc fab kit goes directly to the rubber boot. Thanks much

I bought a used early 2008 LMM without Def. It does not have a muffler or cat converter. It has a five inch straight pipe. It has a five position tuner knob on the dash. I have no idea what tuner is in it. Would this be an already tuned engine or do I need to do more for the EGR delete? How can I find out what tuner is has now? I bought the Pusher SuperMax Intake System & Pusher Max 3" Driver-side Charge Tube for 2006-2010 Duramax LBZ/LMM Trucks and a new Garret Stock turbo.Thanks for any advice.

I actually did the opposite of lock tight on my exhaust bolts. I put anti seize on them because I plan on doing the manifolds in the future and don’t want to worry about broken bolts. I just torqued them to spec and I’ve checked them a few times over the last year and they’re fine.
what to do if you do the delete and you start the truck then it wont start again, what do i do, i put the egr back and now it wont start

Just got efilive unplugging the egr valve, throttle body. Do I unplug the green plug on top of egr too? I’m leaving the egr in for now until I save some money for y bridge. Thanks In advance!
Nope all you gotta do is unplug the throttle body!
Stupid question but my lmm isn’t deleted yet and I was just gonna unplug the egr until I can do a full dpf and egr delete. Would the extra smoke clog up the dpf too often?
You won't be able to unplug the EGR until you have a delete tune done. If you have it tuned than you can run it for a few days before the dpf will clog up
With the egr delete. Didnt you take out the throttle body? And replace it with the black pipe. Little new to deseil world

my 2007 new body styles coolant fan was bad so i replaced the cooling fan while i was putting things back together i found that PCV? was NOT HOOKED UP so i fixed it now when i get into it the turbo blows the rubber boot off the intercooler do you know what happened ? should i do a PCV reroute ?
Pcv reroute and get a stronger clamp to hold the boot on
@@roostnboostntv9575 I also wanted to let you know that I dont hear the pressure being released when i do get on it all i hear it a loud pop and then it runs like a@@ when i get it home the boot is off the blue tube

Well I really want to do the whole kit... The problem is I live here in AZ and I have to get emission tested every damn year. Does anyone have a recommendation how to get pass this?
That’s tough. Only way to get past that is throw everything back on I believe. Maybe look around some other people in your state may have some good ideas.
Register your truck in a area that does not require emissions
dummy the EGR. my dad did this with his 6.7 p stroke for insurance to pay for the work, so the shop liked the insurance company and basically made the whole system look like it works and function" but truly has a muffler and 4 inch piping lmao
What did you do about the throttle body and plug in. I had the same set up and mine is throwing all kinds of codes with out the throttle body being plugged in

Star light tunes I ordered the v3 efi live 5 switch 30-150 hp tunes is that good I paid 843$
startlight is arguably one of the best tunes you can run
I recently installed a tune with the dsp5 switch. My truck is bone stock with egr. Its got some balls now. Youll enjoy it. I alway smash on mine now. Oh well on gas price. Im pretty happy. Gas here in cali is at 3.91$
just got this same kit for my 2008. the new black pipe seems to be smaller than the intercooler pipe it hooks to. did you have this problem?

The rubber boot you are talking about?
Yea the cold side pipe is too small for the boot. So the clamp can’t get a good seal and keeps causing a boost leak

Remove 12 mm up pipe nuts before the 14mm egr bolts.

Yep you will have to get tuning. You’ll have to get tuning if you do exhaust as well. Do some google searches etc you’ll be able to find some. Go with efi live autocal
@@roostnboostntv9575 I am in the same boat. When I research efi live autocal it says that it is emissions complaint. How would it work with and egr and dpf delete?
@@jasonsutton6888 probably just saying that. I would contact the company first. Check eBay, other smaller diesel performance shops around the country too. You’ll most likely be able to find a autocal v3 and have the company load tunes on it.
I bought a kit on ebay the seller is same day tuning and it come with the egr delete and dpf delete and efi live pre tunes it’s awesome recommend
Could I change the up pipe and leave the rest on the engine ? Efi live tune
U could do that. U would need to block off the egr cooler where the up pipes used to connect to it. Otherwise u won’t build any boost cuz It’ll leak out the egr opening at firewall. Mine had a bad egr so they disconnected the coolant to the egr cooler. It blows exhaust out those coolant areas and leaks boost.

"FE9" trucks do not require tuning...
All others do...

Hey I understand taping off the hot wire but don’t tape up connectors. Water gets in there and then it’ll start messing with your truck. Even tho it’s tuned you’ll start getting codes and warning lights. I talked to my buddy at the diesel shop he said zip tie it to the wiring and leave it open if water gets in there it’ll dry itself off.
EGR gases dont go back thru the turbo. PCV does.
Yep. Hence why a Pcv reroute is a smart idea

That’s up to you to decide who you get it from. Efi live is the best programmer and starlight tunes I would get if I were you
