As a big Eminem fan and a former Stan, the fact that he says Kamikaze is better than Denzels album is a crime against music
I’m also an Eminem fan and for the first 2 I was ok with (especially the 2nd one lol) but after he said no to Denzel it automatically proved it knew nothing about hip hop

Kamikaze is not bad album as Fantano paints it to be but that Denzel Curry shi will go maybe as classic 1 day

Kamikaze is remembered fondly for the same reason it was hyped when it dropped - people love beef more than artistic merit.
Not every album is supposed to be deep. Kamikaze captured a moment and revived Eminem’s popularity. It features good catchy production and some very high level rapping. This isn’t automatically discredited because “hE’s bItTeR.” He was inspired to rap well and make better music this far in and he proved he could do that. It’s not the greatest album or anything but it’s genuinely good

HUGEEEE Em Stan right here. I always saw Kamikaze as a project that’s like: cool, he’s dissing people! you could only listen to it once or twice and then you move on. I liked it though. Not a bad project but It was moment in time and that moment is gone, whearas projects like MM&TBS, forever story, KD3, MMESYF It’s Almost Dry, Her Loss, Vinyl Days, learn 2 swim, and Few Good Things created amazing listening experiences that made me and most of us hopefully, want to revisit these projects more then once. It’s these projects that truly created beautiful moments for us that are still here and may never leave anytime soon. I’m an Em fan, but I’m sorry. This man hasn’t dropped quality music since MMLP2 MTBMB was great! But it felt too repetitive and corny at times

I thought it was a 7/10 for me but songs like those kinda nights, stepdad, little engine, farewell, in too deep, hear Eminem touching on topics that he’s already talked about such as his abusive stepdad and some mysterious, random relationships that we don’t know about. It’s gotten to a point where it’s just not enjoyable anymore and I kind of hoped that he would stop touching on these topics and come something new. Not to mention the corny bars he has like when he raps: “I call my Mercedes a benzo. Bitch I ball like a baby” 🤣🤣 Look I love Eminem and a lot of his other albums but you can’t say that MTBMB didn’t have any flaws. It did.
