I'll agree with her on Exmilitary going above The Money Store, I feel that with time and repeated listens it has left a deeper mark than TMS has.
It's fiercely iconic and engaging, the way the album flows and the energy of each tracks hits you in a way that TMS can't, not like it isn't still a great project but it doesn't feature the same luster as Exmilitary.
I got master of puppets in my collection, can't go wrong, although I don't necessarily think it's a ten out of ten but it's still incredible

There actually are a couple albums that I’d give an 11/10. TPAB, Wish You Were Here, In Rainbows and Blonde are some examples. Not too many out there, but there are some.

@EmberMist this just can’t be right. TMS is well known to be one of Death Grips’ best and also an amazing entry point for new fans. Compared to the rest of their discography, there is only one other album as pop-friendly.
I got tpab on vinyl , wasn’t a fan of it first listen because I wasn’t thinking about lyrics the first time but anthony inspired me to go back into it after I learned more on what it was about. Now it’s so good I refuse to listen to it but once a year just to have the full experience new again

The second half of Hounds of Love is the best part! It creates a beautiful emotional narrative and the sound is like nymphs and fairies meeting for dinner and a bit of sport. It’s gorgeous and definitely deserves a ten in my mind.

I love the shock over the 5 for kid see ghost but the refusal to defend it because of Kanye
I got like4 or5 CDs vinyl are expensive but I like having something physical. I have physical graffiti. Lovin' every track. Maybe 8 or 9 didn't love it the first time but 3rd listen it click. Master of Puppets 9 some parts are a bit too long but still track for track top tier metal songs.
Miseducation is not my thing but a 7 because I understand how good it is for others and I enjoy parts of it. Abbey road 9 I prefer revolver. Think some of the second half goes off the rail.

I would like to suggest that shades by Knights of the Abyss is a 10 out of 10
It’s presentation of the Inferno is devastating. It is obliviously dark but I believe it follows the pathway in the poem and is more of an artistic parallel than an attempt to be “black metal” within a death core album.

KSG is underrated by way too many people, most people can disagree it is a 10/10 but less than 7 is just terrible for how consistant it is

Sometimes when an artist reveals himself to be a really shitty person that can affect a person's enjoyment of their art. People keep forgetting that Fantano's ratings aren't OBJECTIVE, they are all just based on his own opinions and personal enjoyment of the music. If he doesn't enjoy listening to the album as much anymore because it reminds him of nazi Kanye, that's perfectly valid.
