No joke, I was looking up how to do a recipe, something that is a few ingredients but I never made before and didn’t want to fuck up, there was 10 paragraphs before it got to the actual recipe.

Get Rich or Die Trying might be overhated now. It's not the album with the deepest lyrics and stories, but it has a crazy tracklist.

Life After Death has aged much better imo. I feel Ready to Die is overrated ( a classic no doubt)
Ready To Die is undeniably the greater classic. It was an introduction to the character of Biggie Smalls. From his birth to his s*icide, that album gives you so many different moods and builds upon his personality backed up by that amazing dominating voice and impeccable delivery and storytelling.
Biggie was humorous, dead serious, gangster, horny, fun and chill, all in one album and he NAILS every single one of those moods. It's a better experience than LAD.
LAD was a showcase of Biggie at his absolute peak of rapping. However, as a whole album experience, Ready To Die is the complete package and AT LEAST top 3 of all time greatest Hip Hop albums.
LAD is the greatest double album in Hip Hop no cap.

Fr Jay's lyrics were outta this world on Reasonable Doubt... Fantano been a production man for years now so I can't say I'm surprised

Blueprint was just a bigger game changer I guess with that new and timeless soul production style that would later kickstart the career of one of the greatest artists of the 21st century...
Also, Jay-Z was more creative on that album and incorporated different styles with Hip Hop. It was a bigger statement. So an arguement can be made that Blueprint is better.
Although there is no frickin way Reasonable Doubt is overrated. There's arguments for it being better than Blueprint as well and easily one of the greatest Hip Hop albums of all time.
And he hates Tupac

nah it was pretty good. i agree with most of it and i think it stands. its a good enough rating to be at the point of opnion subjectiveness rather than factualness. Plus he did say it was rated by its aging, concept, lyrics, idea, overall rawness, beats, skips, features.

MBDTF is kind of overrated. It’s nice and elegant but it’s just missing something to take it the next level imo. 9/10 at the most.
I'd put Operation Doomsday on there. Take out 50 Cent and out that in there. But maybe then swap the spots with Madvillany. Still, one of the best lists I've seen done in this format. Usually has tons of post 2k shit. But this was balanced and shout out Erik B & Rakim.

Melon should go to jail for saying that Resonable Doubt is overrated. Its hands down Jays best work. After that its Blueprint which you could argue cause the Black Album is pretty close to it.
They're all safe picks. Just once I'd like to see a list that wasn't completely predictable. De La Soul's "Grind Date" or maybe Common's "Be." There are tons of great hip-hop albums that never make these lists, which is a shame.
