@@Negi155 I bought the one in the video. Its been almost 2 years and it's been amazing. Now I dont just use it as a student I also work in marketing with it. I have the 6gb ram and 128gb memory version and it's been just amazing, no lags, almost no app crashing and I can take it everywhere, very lightweight and is still has updates from android and One UI. The best choice for sure!

I actually settled for this tablet, I ordered the S8 Plus but my package got lost in limbo so I just bought this one instead, I’m absolutely in love with this thing, it’s perfect for me as I’m a student and might I add this tablet is beautiful with a premium feel! Glad I made this choice
I was very hesitant as a student to choose between the s7 plus or the s7 FE, the plus version is twice as much as the Fe where I live, but I ended up choosing the plus because I'm planning to use it heavily for around 5 years. I kind of like both devices to be honest, the FE is a great tablet

How does the size of the 7+ work for you as a student? I'm trying to decide between the two. I thought I wanted the 7+ because of its big size, now I'm not so sure

Instead of anki & notion, try remnote. I understand, handwritten notes will be messy when it comes to revision. But if you manage your handwritten notes and converting them into text format with the shortcut key used in the remnote. You probably love it. Some ppl love taking notes with handwritten... Just try once
I think the Galaxy Tab S7 is better than the iPad pro for notes taking because the spen looks like a real pen so it's more convenient when you write. Also, you have a free note app in the s7 while on iPad pro you have to install a note application and a lot of note app is not free. The Apple Pencil is really better for drawing so yeah for students the best tablet is the Galaxy Tab S7 if you gonna student with the tab!! it's just my opinion

I am a working man, in my part of the world basic stuff are becoming expensive, i do have my laptop but having this tablet helps do my presentations, my reports on the go although using microsoft office needs some time to get used to because of its missing tools that I always use but I like how this tablet works for me right now. And its just right on the budget. Thank you CFossil for just being real and practical.

Am also student so I was going to buy a phone, then I think about it that, this Tab S7 FE is giving me many benefits for a student life like notes taking, Multi-Tasking and off-course the S-Pen is all I wanted. And the phone has like so many distraction and many issues. Basically I don't wanna carry all those garbage(Note-Book,Text-Book,Pen,pencil etc) instead I can carry this slim steady looking Tab. I might prefer the LTE/4G/5G variant so I don't need a phone to attend calls and messages.

Watching this on s7 fe 6gb ram while organizing my notion :) I'm from PH and the device comes with a keyboard for free if you buy it, I just bought a Bluetooth mouse, and my backup laptop/device is complete

I just traded my tab S2 towards one of these s7fe. Waiting for delivery. Samsung screens are definitely top notch, even the lcd. They were making screens for iPhone at one point. I don't know if they still do or not, maybe some tech sharing back and forth going on there. I can't believe they offered me $200 for my old tab s2. Definitely goes a long way towards paying off the tab s7fe.

I had my S7 FE for a year. but it was too big for me ( i have small hands). Now I use an S9, it is perfect especially for reading scanned law textbooks . My boyfriend is using the S7 FE for his engineering degree.

Look, i have the tb s6 lite a very solid tab it fulfilled all my needs as a student BUT im planning to get a tab s7 fe just for study and GAMING PURPOSES cz the tab s6 lite isnt really gd with some games like apex legends mobile (40 fps max) etc
Conclusion: if ur only purpose is studying go for the tab s6 lite
Note : i know there is better gaming tabs than the tab s7 fe but thi is my budget :)

Ive been looking for a tablet for a while, i started uni last year where Samsung didn't release any new tablet, and i was faced with a dilemma, do i buy a one year old tablet and make it last 4-6 years, or, do i wait for the newer tablet, I ended up going for the tba s8 ultra, but the reason why I am commenting is to thankyou about some of the lesser things you said, Samsung notes being superb for note taking (sort of ironic, Samsung *NOTES*) and how the tab s7 fe is just about a4 paper sized, so that's why i went with the ultra, it will fit the a4 paper inside and makes reading music (vast amount of what i do is read music, old stuff too) and write up / type up notes. so thankyou for that, super informative!

Actually owned the iPad Pro 1st gen, and because the tip of the pen is hard and plastic, it feels unnatural to write on screen even with paperlike installed. Plus it damages the tip overtime. Not like with Samsung S Pens. Even we compare with the latest Apple Pencil.. i think the only advanytage of Apple Pencil is that islt feels more like a pencil

An LCD display might be better for students if they suffer from PWM and/or want to worry less about screen burn in.
Good point - from the few people I talked to there was a very varied taste. I don't really have a problem since overall it still looks really good, but some people are very quickly turned off by them now.
@@ChilledFossilofficial Definitely, AMOLED is still amazing despite a couple drawbacks.
If you're gonna stare at a screen for dozens of hours a week with online classes or digital books... amoled is the way to go. Just don't go max brightness to avoid wearing out the screen on static images. Amoled sends out 1/3rd the blue light that LCD does, so much less eyestrain.

I know that the processor of Tab S7 FE is weaker than of iPad. But, how does it actually translate to real life usage? Did you experience any lags or hangs, specially while switching between apps or using Dex mode? Do tell. Thanks!
Buy the Wifi variant... It has the better processor than the 5G version... Also, buy the one with at least 6Gb RAM (8Gb is better).
I just bought an Apple 9 gen. I hate it because I’m having so many hassels with servers, Pin,numbers etc.when you forget your pin it is so hard to sort it out even when you ring up Apple for help you spend over a hour following his instructions, plus a re- set and you hang up the phone thinking all is well. It is not…. I will never buy anything Apple again, “ever”.

I'm kinda wondering can you do a comparison video about this one and the standard S8, if you plan on getting it? I'm kinda deciding on whether to save for the S8 or S7FE as they seem to be around the same price. To give a little context, I am a student with a passion for design and illustration, so I will be using it for said purposes. @janvi2283 not a tech expert but i was having same question and I taken physical test of both tablets,the S7 Fe is still a better option for a student in compared to S9Fe. M previous tab which I used for study had same screen size as S9Fe and It just sucked while making notes and all i could wish was a big screen size . And I think S7 Fe is the one that will help
Also Samsung has this worse Chipset in S9 Fe

I actually want to get the S7 FE because of its size (& the mystic green colour) but here in my country the S7 FE is almost just sold with 64 GB (the 128 GB model isn't even sold on the official Samsung shop here).
and I'm planning on using the tablet mainly for uni and maybe some Netflix and other minor stuff. but I'm totally not sure if 64 GB will really be enough storage space ... I've never had a device with this "little" storage before, so I can't really tell if this enough even when the storage can get extended by a microSD.
and since I want to use it long-term (at least 2,5 years), I'm really undecided.
could anyone (maybe students) please tell me, if 64 GB is really enough storage? :(
(S7 plus is too expensive for me to buy, so this isn't an option, sadly)
It mainly depends on what you're using it for honestly but seeing as you said its for note taking/netflix and other minor things, you should be fine with 64GB. But if you are in doubt, try finding the 128GB in online stores or get a microSD to place your files in there to reduce space taking. Based on my personal experience for small device spaces (32GB) I can work fine with my school assignments. Its only a bit difficult when you want to have some heavy games like PUBG, CODM or Genshin Impact. Hope this helps

and about the storage: I've around 10 apps which I downloaded myself + all these already downloaded apps from the system/Samsung (which I can't delete) and 43GB storage is already being used. I mean, the system alone takes 18GB storage (at least my device). So in my personal opinion: 64GB aren't enough from a long-term perspective ... sure, u can still extend it with a memory card, but I've like 20 300+ pages and 30+ 100 pages scripts on the memory card and not even 1GB is being used yet, so documents aren't a problem. I think it depends on how many apps u will download and for what u will be using it for ...

Doesnt the keybord come with the tablet? I saw it like that at costco and other vids.
You CAN combo them and get a bigger discount on both but it's mostly sold individually.
Make sure the combo keyboard is the one you want, they sell both a keyboard with and without a trackpad.
As much that i would like to buy the 6gb ram version but unfortunately i'm really low on budget right now.
The 4gb is fine for most if you're just using notes/watching content/ and not running multiple apps at once side by side on DEX.

@@nikiforos3263 it work fine on multitasking, have been using it for 2 months. It doesn't lag but only the note self application does lag rarely, other applications work fine on multitasking, even with Samsung note work perfectly.

I don't think so since a graphics tablet doesn't have a screen right? but a Wacom is great for AI and photoshop!

I haven’t tried the lenovo screens, but the amoled will be much better than the LCD panels on the s7 fe.

@@rodolfoboimarinho6504 The LCD display is kinda very outdated now so many people that have become used to AMOLED will get annoyed by an LCD panel since you can actually see every single pixel on the screen. It's very much personal preference though - the LCD is still very bright and sharp but nothing compared to an AMOLED. For reading my PERSONAL preference would be an AMOLED if I could get the best price on it - but that's just my personal preference and for sure could read on the LCD panel as well.

It depends on what you are looking to do: if you are looking to use multiple apps in samsung dex (like 2 or more) then yes the 4gb will make the apps slow. BUT if you're not looking to do that multi tasking and use it mostly one app at a time then you'll have no problem! Media and content will still play fast.

@@ChilledFossilofficial so, I just tried it out with my 4 gb model, opened 4 apps at the same time and it worked fine. I had browser with 3 tabs open, one of which was youtube with a video playing, Samsung Note, Telegram and a Sketchbook open. Experienced no lag. It has this weird Virtual Ram thing, maybe that's why it works just fine for me.

I honestly don't know where Apple's fame of "being the best". It's really not. Not a single product in Apple's catalogue is #1 in their category.
My phone is too bowerful. 1k worth of apps > entire apple catalog.
S7+ isn't an additional $100, it's an additional $500
