Hope you all had a Merry Christmas if you celebrate! Happy Holidays to everyone!
I didn't talk about the cameras but they are not great. I wouldn't expect them to be. I hope no one is that person taking pictures with a tablet at a concert :)

You're so calm and sweet, thanks for posting a review like this! It's a little more from an everyday average consumer point of view vs the big tech channel reviews, and is definitely appreciated! Goodluck with your medical studies!!
This is one of the best reviews I have seen for the past time. Now I finally got the understanding of difference between models of tablets ( I am a new user to tablet, I have never had one previously). I think the price/worth is suitable for my tasks and that's why this model might be the best choice to get familiar with tablets as a type of device.
Thank you for review!
I've been researching tablets for a while now, as I'm going to high school next year and I think a tablet will help me a lot, and out of all the videos I've seen, yours was one of the best! One Video more for students was what I was looking for, not some generic review. I'll wait for November and see how much it will be on Black Friday. Thank you so much for this amazing video!!! Hugs from Brazil! 🇧🇷
Thanks for the review. I bought the 8 gb with 256 gb of memory. You can expand all the FE tablets to 1TB. I'm an average user so I don't really need as much power as the tablet has, but it was a great price. I'm sorry, but screw Apple. For the price of their tablet I can but this tablet and a high end phone from Xiaomi or Oppo, plus I hate a proprietary OS.
Hey 8gb varaint...really.
@@AmarDeep-zm2vy that's what the tablet says.
@@MrDougmartin ohhh ok. Now iam in a situation to choose a tablet for my exam preparation n note taking ...... between S6 lite n S7 Fe.....
@@AmarDeep-zm2vy you get a lot more real-estate with the FE, which I would think would be easier on the eyes for an exam. It's a great tablet, just harder to hold than the 6.
@@AmarDeep-zm2vy I just bought the 8gb ram / 256 gb storage from Samsung for 429 usd. I think it was a good deal as the 4gb /64 gb was 399 usd.
Watching on my Tab S7+ as I have just gotten it! I know people have reviewed and used them and have hated the keyboard, but I am using the keyboard to type right now and I REALLY like it! I have a Note 20 Ultra and I have been using them since them Note 3! I am highly impressed with the tablet and I know I will probably like it more than the iPad which I did consider getting!
Does it has heating or green tint issue
@@the-star a year later and not one bit of green tinting or overheating! I have an, albeit older, Macbook and iPad issued at work and they still are snappy due to updates but I'm always breaking out my Tab S7+ to do so many tasks seamlessly and people always ask what kind of device I have, asking is it an iPad. I literally almost never leave home without it and it replaced my laptop, and TV until I got new ones, for almost two years! I can do almost everything on this device including editing video on Power Director!
@@mikelthewug bro is it worth it buying it now or should i wait for the price of s8+ to reduce in upcoming sale
@@the-star honestly, I'd still say yes! It hasn't lost any speed over the years and you'd save money. Paying one thousand or more for the whole setup (the Samsung made keyboard is the best imo) for a thousand or more is arguable when deciding amidst a flagship phone, laptop, etc., so make sure you're really using all of the functionality and if you could save overall instead of buying a more expensive S8+, I'd do it. I don't know when I'll buy a new tablet.
@@mikelthewug thanks ❤️
I loved how calmly and practically you described everything
Going to the medschool this year, thank you very much for this review!! Even though I'm an Iphone user I will go with the S7 as it suits my budget more.
Great review! Mine's arriving tomorrow
Thank You! Hope you enjoy it!
wow great video, I really liked your talking style. Thank you for the video.
Thank you for your honest review, I had order it w/256GB w/ no sim card and quiet affordable price. Greetings from Somaliland
I just recently ordered the 128gb wifi model on sale for 609 Cad. From what I can tell the processor in the wifi version (and not so much the 5g version) will hold up even tho I will be running some demanding apps on it. I can't wait for it to arrive in the mail
yeay , can't wait to get mine this week :D
keep up the cool vids brother
Simple to the point review thank you 😊
I'm interested to know if you're still using your tablet or have moved on to something else. If you're still using it, you might consider making a video of your note taking, research, and paper writing experiences with the S7FE. The tablet seems to be on clearance at T-Mobile with a data plan, so it's an excellent value over a ChromeBook or similar with the current offer if you're in the US.
Thank you for this video!
The S Pen us only meant to be attached one specific way per location. Pen tip goes towards the camera on the back and towards the volume buttons on the side, snapping into place in the same exact location every time.
Thank youuuu i was thinking about getting it to help me studying.
You're so cute btw.
Through my searches, certain things to keep in mind before buying this tablet are :
1. purchase wifi ver., not 5G ver. cuz the former have a better processor.
2. 6Gb variant is the least for a snappy usage, but an FE is still an FE. So, you get what you pay.
Btw, thanks for your sharing!
For a mbbs student, should I go with 4gb or 6gb?
@@krvthy14 For me, just go for the 6Gb... At least, you don't have to think about the tablet become laggy or anything when using apps & multitasking.
Thank you veeeery much i've been really looking for a keyboard review, still: dude you'sticking the S pen the wrong way lol, try to stick it upside down in the spot behind the tablet with the tip of the pen pointed at the camera
the additional 2gb of ram from the 128 version will really come handy if you do a lot of multitasking
Samsung offered me 400.00 for my s7Fe on trade in and I got the s8 plus for 199.00.....when I got the s8 plus I did a side by side comparison and I was immediately not impressed with the s8 plus...actually was very disappointed so much so I sent it back and kept my s7fe. The battery life on the s8 plus was horrible, went from 100 to 31 % battery life by 4pm when the s7fe wud still be at 60-70 % with the same usage by that time of day. The screen had a bluish green cast that made the screen display not as bright as the tab s7fe..I put the same movie on both tablets and the s7fe was much noticeable brighter at full brightness. I am very happy with my s7Fe. Hope this helps you all who may be thinking of upgrading.
Same here, I could compare side by side the FE and the S8+ and ofcourse the powerful S8+ open everything immediately but the colors are so unreal, candy kindergarten style. Given up my wish for the AMOLED screen for the tablet (but for the phone I feel good).Yes , can adjust, but than also not need an AMOLED. The screen of the FE is super clear and bright and without using the eye comfort even than the eyes not getting tired. By the way , for all does who worry too much for the 4Gigs of Ram (me too) but it works, smooth, no problem for average using. I love it ! And many others who have the FE says the same.
@Jörg Schurig oh yes you are absolutely correct...the fe is an amazing tablet, no need for ambled here😂🥰
To get what you get with the FE in an Ipad would cost way more. Apple consistently charges way more for the value you get. Plus, expandable no storage on the iPad or free stylus.
Hi doctor, excelent video!
Did you notice any scratches on the screen when you shine some light on it?
No not at all. Screen in similar in hardness as your phone screen.
Be aware, the wifi version is much faster. The 5g version only comes with the snapdragon 750g which is arround 35% slower.
Is the wifi version only can connect to Wifi and cannot use sim as a LTE signal?
@@yazouruaim694 Thats right, but 90% of people only use Tablets with wifi anyway. otherwise you can simply share a connection with your phone so i would never take the slower processor.
@@Thor_Asgard_ Same, i would also pick the faster processor since Samsung Tab S series is literally made for heavy task like Multi tasking so slow Processor should not be an option, but i think no sim is also a big deal at least for some people.
the problem you mentioned about the palm recognition issue, did you only ever notice it being buggy in powerpoint? I was wondering if its also problematic while note-taking when your notes would have photos as well
I am also a med student ,
So could you pls advice about which one should I go for..either Apple ipad 9th generation or samsung S7 Fe
Please reply
If you care about universal comfy apps like notability or goodnotes you would better take ipad, cause it will be better for collaborating with other students, who generally uses Ipad and apple ecosystem. If you care about functionality and memory expansion take samsung
Very interested in this product, thanks!
An excellent review. Which of the mentioned tablets would you recommend for a student's needs, taking notes during lectures? The feel of writing is important. On offer are the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ for 825 euros, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ for 719 euros, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE Wi-Fi (T733) Tablet, 4 GB/64 GB, silver + keyboard for 515 euros, or the Tablet SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S7 FE without a keyboard for 449 euros. Maybe some other that would equally fulfill the purpose. I don't have specific graphic requirements, I don't plan on playing games, maybe running MS Word, Excel, PPT, but primarily it would be for taking notes during lectures, later transferring to PDF or Word, sending by email to colleagues, browsing the internet, watching RUclips. The most important thing is the feel and speed of writing with the stylus without a gap between the pen and the pen trail on the screen. I'm not limited to these tablets; a cheaper option is also welcome, as long as the screen is larger than 11 inches.
You made a very good point - If you're looking a tablet for the office apps, then this tablet is great, due to it's large screen. But I have a question for you. Because the processor is weaker than iPad, does it feel laggy in your experience, especially while switching between apps or multitasking on dex mode?
It can, especially if I have a lot of apps in the background. Takes a while to switch to Dex mode as well but once in Dex, it surprisingly responsive.
@@DrSquared Wow! That was a fast reply. Thanks!
I think you too focused on Android apps, and Android advantage while the Samsung's integrated features like Dex and Multitasking, etc.. on OneUi is left behind, basically any android tablet is capable of android apps. People chose this tablet because of the Samsung's experience.
Could you please tell me why ipad is best option for tablet as you told in this video.
I'm curious, because I use ipad pro and tab s7 pretty much daily... and sadly, ipad is the weaker link for me.
Tab s8 plus will not have notch. Notch will be only on tab s8 ultra (14+“ ) tablet
Hi. They are two different ecosystems. If you have other apple products, the iPad Pro fits into the ecosystem very well. The apple pencil is much more responsive and supported apps are very well designed since iPad OS is gaining lots of users. In terms of Samsung, and most other android tablets, there is an advantage of Android. File navigating is better and inter-company compatibility is better. However, the standards of engineering and refinement of software is not as great as with Apple. It is entirely a preference thing however. Based on your particular usage scenarios, android tablets may work very well. For me, file management is a big thing that is important to me and Apple has just not caught up yet with that in my opinion. I have used both iPads and Android tablets in the past and can tell some things are suited well for one but not the other and vice versa. That is why for an overall tablet experience, the iPad may be the way to go but I do have to say the gap between iPad and non-iPad tablets is closing.
iPads are best tablets
@@MzwandileHarmans tell at least 3 arguments why you think so.
Since i use ipad pro and tab s7 tablets daily. It would be really interesting why you think so, because reality-based experience says totally different
@@MrPoliarinis If you use it for office and teams/zoom type work and needs filesystem access like normal pc, Samsung tab is better. It also has dex which iPad lacks.
If you want multitasking abilities, Samsung galaxy is the best, it has dex mode which is far ahead of apple.
Which one u using 4gb or 6gb variant?
And pls tell me which is good for a medical student ?
Mine has 4gb ram. It works well for me but I wouldn't mind more ram
hi there! great video. im wondering what program you used to take school notes with? samsung notes? onenote? i wonder what your notes look like.
Thank you. I mostly use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. In cases where I need to draw, I usually upload into OneNote. Take a look at my how I study in med school video for more details!
I have it too
This is my 1st comment on it
SD goes up to 1TB so try to give correct info, the wifi version is better than the 5G model as the processor is more powerful. Get the 128 and you get more RAM 6GB!
would you say the tab s7 fe would be good for college stuff ? mainly taking notes and watching content, nothing too excessive like playing heavy games/etc (well maybe some light emulation, but only sometimes)
There are videos that show off how well emulation does on S7. I didn't try looking for S7 FE but I think it would do great for what you want.
How are the viewing angles of the display? If you are not viewing at 90-degrees to the screen, does it get darker like the Samsung Tab A8? Or is it like an IPS display which changes little with different viewing angles?
Do we need a screen guard for the display if yes does that affect on the s pen sensitivity what kind of screen protection do you suggest..
In galaxy Tab S7 FE wifi version,
Will 4 GB RAM work well on multitasking two or three applications for study?
I'll be multasking only for study. Not even for video editing or drawings.
For example, reading PDF, taking notes and watching RUclips lecture video at the same time.
So, will 4 GB RAM work fine?
Please reply to clear my confusion.
get the 6gb
How's the tablet performance now??
Thank you for valuable notes, which microphone you have used to make this video. as S7 itself there would be background noise....do you know any mic better than that...Thanks alot

Thanks but why you're already calling yourself a doctor you just started bro😂
Lol true. It helps me keep focused on the goal mostly. Plus I like the nerdy play on words :)
Do you suggest this tablet ? I am medically student. You see laggy switching apps ? I know a little english.. sorry my bad
try the tab S7 or S8
Hi there a fellow med student here. I'm planning to buy this tablet and wondering did it had a drawback over past year thank you if you can answer.
So far so good! I definitely notice the lag when lots of things are open or large documents open but other than that, I like it for my use case scenario. I definitely recommend the keyboard case also.
Is it too heavy when you take notes in class? Because of big screen..
I really want to have a 6/128 version, cause I'm afraid the 4/64 model can't handel as good because the lack of Ram. However there's only a 4/64 at my place, and I am planing to use it mainly as a portable replacement for my laptop since it was a beefy one. If I'm going to open say 5 to 6 tabs on Chrome and a PowerPoint window to make a presentation, will the 4/64 model be able to handle it? Tks bro.
You will probably be able to do it but expect to have lag, especially with multitasking.
There is a RAM Plus that might help a little
can we attach the pen on the side of the tablet?
next year ill complete my Bpharm....can u guide me for future?
Brothers i am going to buy s8 ultra tab for me as a student to make assignment
It is a good choice or not?
Bro I've got the s22 plus , and I want to buy samsung s7 fe tab ,i want it for notemaking for exam preparation , so is it the right direction to go , as you have used both of these products
Mbbs student here...
Should I buy 4gb ram version
Getting it for 30k
You got the WiFi or LTE version?
How to pair a S Pen with Samsung galaxy S7 FE?
Can you please tell me What apps are you using to take notes ?
penly
I need to buy it for online classes but a bit confused whether I should go for tab or laptop can u suggest what would be appropriate for me..
It's been two days and I'm confused like hell..
I can only buy one at the moment so should I go for a laptop or tab...
Can u suggest
It is entirely based on your use case but I think a laptop is generally more useful than a tablet. It's more powerful, versatile, and capable. But there are a lot of options for laptops so keep price range and features in mind. While you can use tablets as your main computer, unless your work benefits from is functionality, I think tablets are better as a supplementary screen.
The problem I find with laptop is that it is not handy and heavy I need something that is easy to carry and used to make notes study pdf etc...
Hey I am new user to tabs and I don't wanna buy ipad and I am in budget too. I wanna ask you that can I replace laptop with it. Is it worty for long term usage. plz reply cause I wanna buy it for my study purpose
Hi,have you ever used Microsoft teams with this tab? I'm wondering if i can replace it as a working laptop. i mainly use Microsoft teams and office. wondering if it's doable to even share the screen like zoom/meet
if you still didnt find your answer then yes! you can use it for sure. Android is able to use microsoft teams (i use it on samsung phone for uni) and its working great!
How its working now??
hello, i'm Abhinab
Ipad 9 vs samsung tab s7 e which is better
1 tb can the tablet handle. So yeah that is quit a lot.
How much did you buy this tablet ?
Can you create PowerPoint with this tablet?
s pen with battery and bluetooth or not
Can i use it without keyboard attachment?? Is there any issue holding it with such a big screen size ?
No problem at all. It does not weigh much and I use it without the keyboard frequently.
Can we use any Bluetooth keyboard with it or not? Is it important to use significant keyboard model with it?
You can use any Bluetooth keyboard, no restriction on model
@@DrSquared tankyou soooo much , and mouse as well? 🥰💜
@@ENDZONED did you ever find out about the Bluetooth mouse being able to be used with the FE model? Thanks.
@@borg386 I buy the s7 and yes ... they support Bluetooth mouse and keyboards... even with OTG I connect my wire mouse to it

Do you fold the keyboard case when annotating? If yes, does it scratch much when the keyboard is in contact with a surface?
**great video :)
Me 64gb vala tab lelu or usme 128,gb ka memory card dal du
4+64 is good?
What about lagging?
How has the 4gb of ram been holding up?
Not too bad. Switching between apps when I have a lot open can be slow at times and device startup is not the smoothest. But it gets the job done, especially for my use case :)
Alternative of s pen for tab s7 fe
This spen is very basic it doesn't have pressure sensitivity like the tab s7 and s7+
They now have the Samsung galaxys s 21 fe
Very true. Unfortunately the price for the s21 fe is not that attractive.
Speed test plsss S7 Fe Vs Matepad 11
Don't know if I should get the s7 fe or the surface pro as a computer engineering major 🤔
Based on my limited knowledge of what computer engineering students do, I think you need a more powerful computer so the surface pro might be the better option. What kind of work will you be doing?
@Doctor Squared It's a bit confusing since this sem I'll be doing live classes.
I'm still completing lower div requirements so for now I'll not be doing heavy tasks such as simulation and coding. I have a desktop PC with a gpu and all that for those tasks.
My fear is that in the future I might need to code a little in class or on the go and the s7 fe won't be capable of that. I do have an older laptop so maybe I could repurpose that just for coding? I did get some advice from other students that I shouldn't worry about hypotheticals when buying a device. But idk, windows capability could be very useful down the line cuz of portability and things like that.
Well I would say plan for the future. After being back in person and once you start coding and rendering, a surface would probably make more sense. Just my two cents :)
@@DrSquared buddy I want to sell mine… can you help me find a buyer?
The tablet is in a brand new condition. (Under warranty)
@@donkeydanny2114 definitely go for the surface. You will code in class, and you will have to compile your programs. Android will bring you nowhere. Also go for the model with a lot of ram, since you will probably have to use virtual box for linux.
Samsung tab 7-8 tablets are better than iPads imo.
Does it heat ??
The cellular model is a scam it has the worse processor. 4GB RAM isn't enough and like 64GB storage how do you survive because even a very light user agree 64GB is a joke in 2022.
Samsung snapdragon 778g 4GB vs samsung 750G 6GB which one would be best choice.
778G is markedly better in performance. Depends on your workload if 2 more gb of ram is necessary or not. But that could be made up with the better chipset.
Sachin Kunder… if you want to buy the Wi-Fi varient, please contact me. I have one lying around in mint condition. I can give it to you at a good price.
@@amanpathak2k cont no

It should.
Do you think this is a good enough tablet for casual use and gaming on a small scale since ill mainly be using my pc for games?
Yes with the 6 gb or 8 gb versions, more memory for games and a way more powerful processor 778g+ vs what you get with the 4gb /64gb 5g version (750g).
Hang karta hai kia?
What's the difference between the pens of s7 fe and s7/s7 + ? Do you have any idea?
Yes, the S pen for the S7/S7+ is a bit different in that it has a built-in battery that is charged when attached to the tablet wirelessly. This is because it can perform gestures from a distance that require Bluetooth. The S pen that comes with the S7 FE is not Bluetooth-enabled but does have a side button that can do a few actions, like opening up menus, once you are close to the screen.
@@DrSquared okay. Got it. Thank you so much for replying.
