I just need to study and sometimes watch RUclips and a laptop is inconvenient for that because of all the updates and stuff so I got a tablet which is better for that.

I also use samsung notes a lot for online class Idk if everyone knows but you can SYNC YOUR NOTES WITH YOUR RECORDING using samsung notes(whether its handwritten or encoded) just like notability Its easier when you sync your notes with your recording because you only need to click that part of your note and it will redirect your recording- like if you missed something from the lecturer, you wont have a hard time playing back the recording
How can I do that? I had no idea this is possible I use Noteshelf as my main app for note-taking, as I find it more convenient, but Noteshelf does not have this sync with audio.

I grew up in a bad sweetspot where technology was getting better but I was surrounded by boomers who shunned any technology. In college I was one of the few people who brought a laptop to class and professors didn't seem to like it and some even asked other students just what I was doing when I was honestly taking notes the entire time. I have a Tab S4 and here I think about just how useful it could have been when I was still taking classes. The S-Pen could have been so useful with taking notes.

@@no4256 yeah but more expensive, I picked up a Tab S2 with student discount for £220 today ordered whereas Apple is £309 for base iPad with student offer and you only get 32GB. Samsung gives you 64GB plus option to expand to 1TB. Apple has the positive of being a faster processor but that's about it as the display is better aspect ratio on the Tab.

Mine arrives today, I've never owned a decent tablet before. I have a Google pixel 4a which I'm really happy with but the S6 lite is a huge upgrade to my old tab A 2019
I just ordered the Tab S6 lite today and it looks really useful! I dunno how well I'll get used to taking notes on it though because I've only ever done it on paper and I also have bad handwriting 😅
I'm not sure if the tab s6 lets you do it but on the note 9 you can select text using the s-pen. This selection includes text you often wouldn't be able to normally by holding your finger over the text, like on the reddit app were doing that to a comment hides it instead. To perform this feature, at least on the note 9, you would hover the stylus over the screen, so that the cursor is showing, and then hold the button on the pen and touch the screen and drag to select the text. I like using this for sending the text straight to google translate instead of using the s-pen translate tool because it often has trouble detecting Japanese.

Surely will it be worn down. I got my tab S7+ since last November, and 'til now I've changed 2 paperfilms, also 5 spen nibs. If we use the pen as note taking and drawing too much, it'll soon be worn down; besides, the paperfilm will get scratched up, too. As I unfortunately purchase a 3 film pack, I will switch to a glass protector after it's used up 😭😭
I had recently just got an S7 Plus and my pen tip broke, I ended up getting another tip and it's a plastic feeling tip more durable but I don't know how I feel about it yet. I have a tempered glass protector and maybe I'm tripping but I always think it's scratching the screen
I have been using the tablet since September for everything related to uni, especially for notetaking really fast, as my teachers speak fast just as if they were having a conversation, still, I love the tablet! If you are looking for a mid-range tablet and do not have the money to buy an iPad, as many ppl would consider buying one regarding productivity, I can assure you that s6 lite is a great option! And now that the update brings Samsung Dex, it is more than great. You can (I actually do) add a keyboard and a mouse and have a mini laptop (I use the keyboard K380 just like in the video and the mouse Pebble M350). Any questions regarding the tablet, feel free to ask me! :)
you can make the tab of your favorite pen also. so u don't need to scroll every tile u want to change the pen to other things . just so u know it could efficient ur time too . anw , great video thanks

There is a setting in the samsung notes app which let's you turn of writing with your hand. You can still use your hand for zooming in and out, but then you can only use the Spen for writing :)

You can have 3 items in split screen mode. Just lift the app from the app edge panel and move it to the corner where you want to place it

I enjoy drawing so I’m going more towards the tablet but I’m also trying to get a computer for zoom classes. I was just wondering if you can use zoom in the tablet the same way as in a computer?
ur welcome! anw yes for zoom we can use it here in the tab but idk if all the features that we can get in the computer are also available in the tab😅 i rarely use zoom so im not really sure about it

Hi I'm just curious. Doesn't your s pen tip wear off since you're using a matte screen protector? I wanted matte too but I'm scared I might wear the tip off. I've been using tempered glass and the s pen tip's wearing off already

Surely will it be worn down. I got my tab S7+ since last November, and 'til now I've changed 2 paperfilms, also 5 spen nibs. If we use the pen as note taking and drawing too much, it'll soon be worn down; besides, the paperfilm will get scratched up, too. As I unfortunately purchase a 3 film pack, I will switch to a glass protector after it's used up 😭😭
I had recently just got an S7 Plus and my pen tip broke, I ended up getting another tip and it's a plastic feeling tip more durable but I don't know how I feel about it yet. I have a tempered glass protector and maybe I'm tripping but I always think it's scratching the screen

I bought it last August and I still love it. I'd recommend you to buy it for daily usage to watch RUclips and such and also for basic school work
I have been using the tablet since September for everything related to uni, especially for notetaking really fast, as my teachers speak fast just as if they were having a conversation, still, I love the tablet! If you are looking for a mid-range tablet and do not have the money to buy an iPad, as many ppl would consider buying one regarding productivity, I can assure you that s6 lite is a great option! And now that the update brings Samsung Dex, it is more than great. You can (I actually do) add a keyboard and a mouse and have a mini laptop (I use the keyboard K380 just like in the video and the mouse Pebble M350). Any questions regarding the tablet, feel free to ask me! :)
you can make the tab of your favorite pen also. so u don't need to scroll every tile u want to change the pen to other things . just so u know it could efficient ur time too . anw , great video thanks

There is a setting in the samsung notes app which let's you turn of writing with your hand. You can still use your hand for zooming in and out, but then you can only use the Spen for writing :)
