- A complete 3-MONTHS LATER review of the SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S7 FE! This tablet is in my opinion a SERIOUS consideration for anyone looking to purchase a tablet. From solid features and hardware to scalability this tablet really delivers in almost any position!
In my honest opinion the Galaxy Tab s7 FE BEATS the Ipad airs; the S7 FE offers a more vast multi-tasking platform in addition to your traditional android tablet OS!

Mine is the wifi version 126 gb version so has the snap dragon but it's still an extra $300 for the S+ but for everything else not a single glitch ? So I'm wondering if it's just the game ( forgevof empires ) but the harder running games don't have 5hat issue ! So maybe it's just the game ! They are already having a couple issues so maybe it's something to do with that ? Just don't want to get stuck with a lemon ! Lol !

Exactly my thoughts
Nice job, any long term review gets an automatic thumbs up from me. The biggest thing missing from android tablets is full browser experience, without which they can never be a 'primary' device.

Doesn't Samsungs own browser have that option?
Like with dex, you'll get all desktop sites on it
@@For3xampleJohn It can yeah, even without dex. But it's still a mobile browser that uses Android's API so lots of sites won't display properly and many are slow to load. Also can't use any chromium extensions I heavily rely on, some are required for work.

We have the same specs, I'm glad I got it. Mine is a week old now and I'm really enjoying it. Best thing about this device is that it isn't expensive at all. Perfect for me. 👍

You can use the tab S7+ keyboard cover with the FE, giving you the trackpad. Great review.
They didn't need 2 release special cases 4 they tab s7 fu edition but rather just lower the price of they tab s7+ keyboard which works 100% with the fu edition

I bought tab s7 6ram/128gb before year and a half and it still good haven't faced a single probleme till now
I agreed with your content until you mentioned the processor.
You mentioned go for the Wifi variant because you'd get the snapdragon and not Qualcomm.
Well, Qualcomm is the company that manufactures the entire Snapdragon processor lineup.
I do agree with you when you said go for the Wifi variant rather than the 5G variant because the 5G variant comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G and the WIFI only variant comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, which is a better overall processor.

Qualcomm is producer of Snapdragon series chips I believe you mean Exinos the processor made by Samsung itself

You can get the keyboard with track pad if you buy the keyboard cover that goes with 7+. That is the one I bought.

it has a pen why do you need a track pad? i miss the track pad but it is a touch screen with the pen. the pen makesup for no track pad imo.

ram part in correct, it's awfully slow when you multitask
Regarding the battery I actually own mine for almosta year now, and I always get more than 1 day of use, with my normal college days i can probably use it for a week before needing to charge it, ofc if u have a more intense use it wont last as long but i think it is still more than enough
Hey Qualcomm 750G is not a garbage, it's much better than many other mid-range processor (eg: Exynos 9611, SD720G or Helio G90) it's the same processor that comes with A52 5G phone. But yes, the SD 778G is much better than the 750G
Given that the iPad 9th Generation iPad is so powerful, it's hard to feel satisfied (to me) with the 750G. Not that it's an apples to apples comparison though, just wish it was a bit more powerful for $470.

Snapdragon 750 has optimisation issue no company was able to utilise it fully, also he don't seem educated i Android processor as Qualcomm is the company that makes snapdragon processors.
An excellent review. Which of the mentioned tablets would you recommend for a student's needs, taking notes during lectures? The feel of writing is important. On offer are the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ for 825 euros, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ for 719 euros, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE Wi-Fi (T733) Tablet, 4 GB/64 GB, silver + keyboard for 515 euros, or the Tablet SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S7 FE without a keyboard for 449 euros. Maybe some other that would equally fulfill the purpose. I don't have specific graphic requirements, I don't plan on playing games, maybe running MS Word, Excel, PPT, but primarily it would be for taking notes during lectures, later transferring to PDF or Word, sending by email to colleagues, browsing the internet, watching RUclips. The most important thing is the feel and speed of writing with the stylus without a gap between the pen and the pen trail on the screen. I'm not limited to these tablets; a cheaper option is also welcome, as long as the screen is larger than 11 inches.

charging is a bit annoying, you can't see the difference which side of the usb cable you have to plug it in. it sometimes gives an error message that it is inserted incorrectly
Sounds kind of disgusting that all products are named "Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE" but depending on the storage options and whether you can use a sim card with it or not, other parts of the hardware change too. Anyway, the price jump from 64GB to anything else is too big. It doesn't even make sense as a budget purchase at that price point.
It's barely a $70 increase, $520 isn't expensive for a 12 inch tablet.

the 5g Model has an Snapdragon 750G and the normel wifi has an Snapdragon 778G
I had this tablet and the first thing I hate about it is the power button. You can't turn the power off on the stupid thing unless you hold both the volume buttons and the power button which is just ridiculous because they want you to do Bixby. Samsung is really failing with bigsby and the having to force Bixby and the Samsung services on you to upload your stuff on the cloud or they keep popping up little icons telling you you have to do it and if you don't things on the tablet don't quite work right. I won't be buying anything Samsung anymore.
I got 256gb storage version which has 8gb ram. It works with no lag for whatever I do with it. I dont have experience with 64 or 128 version, but I rreally recommend 8gb ram version.
I am planning yo Use it (ram 6gb version) as a notebook / netbook. Is it going to perform well? Can I Edit illustrator files?
I am planning to use it for muli purpose.

im a civil engineering student and i felt the need to purchase a tablet for several reasons - one of them is multitasking with digital note taking. id like to view my lecture vids with note taking at the same tab. i am torn between ipad 9th gen and FE but im more inclining now towards s7 FE because it’s more affordable with 128gb and 6gb ram. thoughts?
You can do well with both but the problem is you need to spend a little more to get the Apple Pencil plus keyboard.
If you still haven't bought one yet, Samsung's official store in Shopee is having a sale with Tab S7 FE right now with free keyboard.
Great review and thank you very much I’ve had my eye on this for a while. From somebody who just uses the tablet to search the web watch Netflix, IPTV service, and RUclips is the 4gb of RAM plenty for this? Or do I need the 6gb of RAM model?

I got a great deal on this one - but it's 5G so Snapdragon 750G (it's 450 USD for 8GB / 256GB version)...is the performance difference really not worth getting the 750G or is it not that bad? I need to decide soon so let me know 😉🤘

Cameras don't even matter on a tablet the webcam is only used 4 meetings and video chatting and I'm pretty sure no one would care if they got rid of the camera on the back

Have you maybe tried Xbox Game Pass? looking to get one of these but wondering whether it can handle streaming games from XBGP without lagging and stuff. On another note, I have a choice $900 AUD for the 128g/6gb new or $895 for a second hand S7+ new-ish with just under 12mo warranty?
5G variant, after small optimization works pretty good(be sure to disable ram plus) 750g when it comes to other companies pretty decent processor

In India, Wifi variant only comes with 4GB RAM. So there's no choice. ☹️

Can you do a comparison between this tablet and the iPad mini 2021? I think you're the only one I've seen having both these tablets. I already have this tablet and I'm thinking of getting an iPad mini.
Ipad is a better performer for sure. Ipad mini is a small Tab but this one is a large one, so no point in comparison

Yes, it is. The 5G variant has a Snapdragon 750G whereas the wi-fi variant has a Snapdragon 778G. The 778G is slightly better than the 855.

I have the 5g version cause I got tired of having to turn on my Hotspot on my iPhone 14 pro max to use on my samsung tab s8 plus so I got the samsung tab s7 fe 5g version cause it has internet that you don't have to turn on Hotspot or wifi to use internet but I have both the the tab s8 plus wifi version and the tab s7 fe 5g version

Definitely not a HUGE difference, but when it comes to running multiple apps side by side on DEX - there will be a difference.

I just want to know your opinion about it, does the 5G version with SD 750 good for me as a student with note-taking and watching a movie or YT only? cause I don't really into games. Hahaha yes for just those things it is fine! It really only starts to matter when you want to use samsung dex and multitasking, like multiple windows open and multiple tabs on chrome. For light use like notes/a movie it's perfectly fine!

If you have 2 windows open 5 tabs each, oh yeah it will be way slower.

Hi! So I just wanted to ask, I got the 4gb and now I'm Kinda worried, I don't need the tablet to play intense games or anything, but would it still be good for taking notes and using Netflix and yt? Or like light games on roblox so that I can let my younger siblings play if they get annoying? I've had the fire before ( terrible ) and those games worked on it fine even tho it had 2gb of ram so considering that, would this tablet be Ok?
honestly will be fine with YT, Netflix note taking and stuff like that. just don't expect it to be super fast and good at gaming as its intended use is not for gaming. if the fire has worse specs than this, I can't see a problem.
For the uses you listed you will be just fine! its only when you open aamsung dex and multiple windows/chrome tabs where you would be recommended 6gb ram.

I bought it with a keyboard but I would like a cover with flowers. Can I remove the keyboard somehow?and put in a new covver with flower design?or is the keyboard unremovable...by the way is really heavy i dont know possibel im not strong but the tablet feels heavy:D but i love the screen is so big...and i go too the hospital for 2 weeks so i have perfect entertainment...just the black cover is ugly i whana put a new designs with cool flowers:)

Is it OK to flip the keyboard cover around and use the tab with the keys facing the table? I spoke to the Samsung guys and they said we don't recommend doing that.
I have not had any issues doing so thus far, but ofcourse they wouldn't recommend ot. The keyboard cover with mouse pad can actually be removed really quickly.

I'm using the Play Avery Artisan Gaming Mouse Pads from Amazon - they aren't super colorful or bright but very solidly built and pretty high quality. The logitech play mousepads are also gorgeous and simple.

Not the one shown, but there is a second version from samsung which has the keyboard and trackpad and can be removed (magnetic)

in my country the 6gb version costs 771€ the 4gb version costs only 441€ and i want to use it for achool so i think the 4gb version is the better decision
you're probably right - if you aren't running 2+ apps on dex at once the 4gb will be just perfect.
