Im an assistant engineer & also a part time engineering student. At first i did not sure which to get, then i choose S7 FE hoping that i made the right choice. 120days of use and i am very happy with s7 fe. I might have memory problem if i get an ipad 9 cuz i use a lot of it, with s7fe i add external memory 512gb storing all my notes and lecture videos in it . The batterry life is amazing , allow me to use it all day during my class from 8am to 6pm without charging end me up with 30% at the end of the day. The spen has an amazing response, amazing accuracy and it comes with the tablet, its a big bonus cuz i dont have to spend extra 100dollar just to do writing on my tablet, thats One of the reason to choose s7fe instead of an ipad cuz why pay more to do the same thing. Multitasking is a next level on s7 fe, i watch a video provided by my lecturer, opening question example in pdf document and do exersice writing on samsung notes all at the same time, with 12.4 inch screen size, it is very² convenient . Samsung DeX is great but i rarely use it. In terms of the performace, S7 fe has a decent performing multi apps, decent photo/video editting performance using canva & capcut. As both student and my daily job going meetings, doing lots of note & do presentations,, i am very² satisfy with s7fe . I use huawei matepad 10.4 from 2020 bofore, but dont like it because bad app support exprience. So Things that is important to me for a tablet is memory, battery life, digital pen, multi tasking, screen size , app support . This is my experience & opinion based on my purpose of use. So i guess to get the best tablet that satisfies you, list all what you want to do with your tablet when you get it including cost related, then you may choose the one that is right for ya, Especially if your lifestyle is full of productivity work.

I realize for my work, i need a 2 in 1 laptop now. I need a desktop powerhouse with super portability like a tablet . Because i do a lot of travel for work. it's crazy how affordable the ipad is in the US. in my country, the 256gb wifi version ipad is priced the same as the 128gb wifi fe. factor in the price of the apple pencil and it's easily much more expensive.
I know, I'm envious but I get it. They get the most money from their local consumers. Base specs ipad+apple pencil is much more expensive than the base specs of s7 fe here. No wonder the US is still apple loyalist(besides the security)
It's because iphone are mostly assembled in the US. So outside the US it comes with the added shipping fees and etc fees at the expense of the consumer. Apple likes to charged everything on their consumers so expect it to be hella expensive outside US.
Watching this video on my new S7 FE. Samsung has been having ridiculously good trade in deals. I sent in my old S2 tablet and ended up getting the FE and Galaxy buds 2 for $100 brand spanking new. Runs great so far. Second screen feature is a pleasant surprise. I'd honestly prefer a slightly smaller display size but I won't complain too much for what I paid.
This may not be a consideration for many people, but file transfer ability is something that is important to me. I often transfer large video files from my Windows desktop to my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra phone. I have an 802.11 AX network with a similar card in my phone. Wireless file transfers are very fast and I have the option of using USB Type C if I wish. I am not in the Apple ecosystem, nor am I into gaming, so the Samsung tablet would better suit my needs. The iPad air with 256 GB would address all of my needs, but it costs $979.00 here in Canada ($779.00 for the 64 GB version) which I find to be a lot to pay for a tablet and I would still need to buy a stylus.
@12:00 yes android apps does have rotation problems, but it can be solved with "Rotation | Orientation Manager." You can set different rotation settings for each apps, and force apps to rotate in a way you want.
Samsung allows you to force orientation apps which works fine with most apps. I find multitasking much better on the Samsung. And DeX works wonders when you need to to do productivity tasks. The Tab S7 is better than both and is quite affordable now. Keyboard integration, SD expansion and S pen included.

For media consumption, Netflix, RUclips, Note taking (S Note), sketching (Adobe Sketch) the FE is better option. But there are still many apps working on iPad way better and more optimized but I don't think that the performance would be an issue on the FE.
The problem is. In my case I would definitely want a bigger screen and better looking tablet. Still, I face some problems: 1- most people in college use an ipad for note taking, especially notability, so sharing notes is easier 2 - Even when using the tablet only for notetaking, mid to long term when u get many notebooks and notes sections/subjects, it’ll start to lag/delay in a not so good processor, and 3 - if you’re using it for notetaking u probably want a paperlike screen protector, or any matte screen protector if u might, in that case, considering the lower ppi and colour resolution of the S7FE, its price makes no sense at all
If the iPad had better support for external monitors I would buy it. If you are an iPhone user, don't consider the Tab S7 FE. Me personally I think the Tab S7 FE is a better tablet, has bigger display, is more versatile, has a better battery life, runs Android (which is a pro and a con), cheap expandable storage, it is actually build better and looks more modern than iPad 9 etc. Software updates are not that important on Android as they are on iOS/iPadOS. Most of apps on Android are written for Android 5 and above. And still 3 years is not as good as Apple's 5 years of updates, but it is a good thing. Tab S7 FE is a bit more expensive, but you get more display, battery and features. So I would recommend the Tab S7 FE, unless you have an iPhone or a MacBook.
You should really only buy the iPad over the S7 FE if you need the exclusive Apple Apps. As an IPhone user I don’t need access to my photos, iMessage, FaceTime, or calling on my productivity and media consumption device. Those apps are literally the reason I have an IPhone, if I had a tablet that did the same thing then there’s a device I don’t need in that duo.
I am so confused when I comes to the tab S7 FE. I was going to buy it and then saw the specs and pricing. I ended up buying the S7 256gb for not much more. That is what better tablet for the money. I liked it so much I also just ordered the Tab S7 plus 256gb as it was on sale for 100$ more than my S7.

2:20 for those who dont know, retina is a regular ips lcd display (wich have own benefits for media creators) super retina is a regular amoled (wich is better for media consumption)... dont be fooled by apple given names, by the idea samsung technically have supper retina display, i believe with extra perks samsung have in own amoleds, apple would call it super retina +
This is such a fantastic comparison video and I thank you for that! I have been spending WEEKS being torn over the Samsung Tab S7 and iPads (9, Mini 6 and Air 4). I finally decided, after a billion review videos and careful thought (what can I say, I'm a tech lover and enjoy the planning process, lol), that I should just go for the iPad 9. Realistically, all I need it for is for eReading, streaming videos, and the occasional work. I've been a Samsung/Android user for around a decade and have always loved the freedom Android offers. However, I have played around with my friends' old iPads and have been blown away by their snappiness and lack of lag, despite their age. In my experience, it feels like Samsung nerfs their software over time (it's why I disabled automatic updates on my Note 10 Plus and I have yet to deal with any lag... The same can't be said with my previous Sammy phones). I literally ALMOST executed an order for the Samsung S7, but you brought me back to sanity and I thank you for that!

Love the FE, bought it as a gift for someone. They wanted me too tweak it for usage, cause I go extra on the security measures. And, better than I expected. The spec junkies need to stop. My personal Tab is S7 and this one is on par with performance. Zippy and a beautiful screen. And I know cause I have super amoled on 3 other devices I daily drive. Could hardly put it down. The person I bought it for loves it.
After owning an 8 inch Samsung tablet, my primary focus was finding a tablet with a larger screen and 5G capabilities. After some research, I went with the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. I was disappointed to find that this tab was weaker than the WiFi version. I still bought it, though. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. It feels like a premium product and it's more than capable of handling everything I've thrown at it so far. I love it.
There is one very important function that the Galaxy is FAR better for. If you need to transfer content from a PC to the tablet, you just plug a USB cable between the two, it shows up as a portable drive, and you can drag files over to it, no problem. There is literally no way to do that with an Ipad. Going through the cloud is NOT the same. The closest you can do with an Ipad is to copy files to a flashdrive with USB on one side and a lighting plug on the other (for an Ipad 9 at least) and do it in two steps. Given that I have a large collection of PDF files on my PC that I want to work with on the tablet, this is definitely a consideration.
Important to note the S7 FE does not have a real biometric as the facial recognition is not a secure form, essentially just picture recognition with no depth mapping.
Right now in Canada, the Tab S7 FE is almost 200$ less than the iPad for black friday. I've just ordered the Tab S7 FE since I prefer stay with Android and I just can't stand big bezels 😳
@@slowgirl2699 So far it's great but I'm already a Samsung user for phones/tablets/earbuds and watches so I might be a little bit biased 🤷♂️😅 I mostly use it for Netflix and playing Xbox from the cloud which is why I wanted a nice screen over some other features.
When it comes to long term OS support and lag free software updates you just cannot compare anything with the iPads As for android side of things, tablets are hardware beasts without optimised software to suppprt
It's so ironic that Apple was the first one to remove the headphone jack in their iPhone lineup, now that Samsung followed through, the iPad still has a headphone jack but the Galaxy Tab doesn't.
I would take the FE over IPad any day after putting my hands on it. Wasn't expecting it to be that damn good. Geez, super immersive, the screen is gorgeous and it is as fast as Tab S7. Absolutely no lag. It's a beautiful tablet and I love the size, feels real good in the hands. If I knew it was going to be that good would have bought two. Got it for a real good price.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE a month ago. I also have an iPad Air 2 and a Surface Pro 4. The Samsung is awesome value. Great screen. Nice audio. Fantastic all day battery life!
you said tab 7 fe is significantly more expensive. however, if you wanted to add the apple pencil in, in order to be able to do what the fe can do out of the box(since stylus is included) they end up being the same price, heck ipad ends up being slightly more expensive.
I am not in the Apple ecosystem - currently using a Samsung S10+ and a Windows PC. I need a tablet for basic productivity work, watching movies, & video calls. Based on your review, I think the Ipad 9 would be a better option in terms of price, long OS support and better chipset (which will give usability of up to 5 years or more). The same can't be said of the S7 FE despite it having a lot of nicer hardware. I am looking for a tablet that can offer real value for my money. The only thing holding me back is, would it be a pain using these different ecosystems together? i.e.: transferring files, user experience etc. I would really appreciate some inputs on this. Thanks!
I suggest getting the S7 or S7+ instead of S7FE as I for sure know that there will be a price drop soon on the release of tab S8. So it is much better to buy S7 or S7+ during the sale. The ecosystem will be in sync with your phone and this is my option as well because we both have s10+ and a windows laptop.
The only apple product i have is the ipad air 2019 and using it for the past year, ive had no problems at all, i do note taking, zoom, videos, and browsing. Microsoft and google services work flawlessly.
I was in the same situation as you just recently: I also have an S10+ and use a Windows PC and was tempted to stick within the Samsung ecosystem but instead opted for a refurbished iPad Pro, and to tell you honestly I have no regrets! Personally, I find the app ecosystem to be better on the iPadOS side, which is why in the end, I got myself an iPad :) Hope this helps!
I have a Galaxy S8 phone and a windows pc but I just bought the iPad 9 to update my ageing iPad Air gen1. I did consider getting the Tab S7 as the specs, on paper, are better but the apps on the iOS are just better, and I’ve had my iPad Air 8 yrs and only now am I seeing issues with app support and updates etc.
Recently bought Tab s7 fe wifi only excellent device.screen is superb,no lag for even multitasking. Without doubt go for it. Samsung device are long-lasting product.
i just got the Ipad 9 and downloaded Just Desktop to remote into my Mac Mini from my IPad 9, since now I need to do some in-person meetings and work for coding.

hi! luckily i just bought S7FE for my mom cause she need portability gadget for her job. I just wanna say that even s7fe is amazing for me, the screen look wonderful althought it's tft (i compared to my super amoled phone and it's look pretty similar), the feels of writing or sketching is great and i think its better than ipad in the case (i tried using ipad 4 2020 which is my sister's so atleast i know the feel of using ipad), and the samsungdex is cool. i can say for a student you better buy s7+ (because you don't mind the price) cause it will be more amazing.
Here's how I look at it. If you need something now, buy now. If you can wait, always wait. You may get a better product for the same price or the same product for a better price. Hope that helps. Thanks for being part of the channel!

I recommend getting the ipad,the tab s7 fe is well worth it's price but the ipad is good enough to get things done at a lower price.Unless you really want those better specs,just go with the Ipad.Go ahead and pair it with the Apple Pencil as well,it will still be cheaper.

What is your opinion about the different aspect ratios of different companies? I feel Samsung makes their tabs more laptop- like, and Apple likes to hit that transition region. Don't really understand why they have the difference though.
If you are student and you want tablet for studies like For notes taking you must go for ipad but if u prefer entertainment like gaming , movies etc go for Galaxy Tab S7 FE. If you want both ultimately I will suggest Ipad.

Yes for long term i spoke to my friend who works in an IT DEPARTMENT. He said ipad 9gen wins because of its powerful software .. but for student use and multiple productivity he recommend to take samsung. That will only last u for 1-2 years.
i have both tab s series and iPad series. All good stuffs. Different is Eco system and some app that android did not available example Good notes App. So depend on your usage if you are seriously productivity applications go pc after that go mobile with surface go or iPad.

I just ordered the ipad 9 , i already have a samsung phone , and oneui is kinda laggy in term of animations , so the big reason why im picking the ipad , is the ipados which looks much better , smoother but i agree samsung has better multitasking
From a hobby photagrapher point of view. I used to have the old ipad pro, when connecting the sd card reader to transfer my pictures, it worked great. I then later bought the samsung tab s6. When connecting the sd card reader, the photos comes up in files. but alle the photos are viewed in a very very small preview, so you cant actually see the photos good enough to make decisions about what to transfer and what to not. So im forced to transfer everything, hundreads of raw files, then go through when it it stored on my s6 and delete away what I dont like. This was not a issue with the ipad pro I had previously, you could easily preview the photos on the card in a large nice way and select what you want to transfer. I really wish this silly problem could be solved, and I wonder if it is still like that with the s7? Because in all other ways i prefer the s6 over ipad, but this one thing will become a deal breaker and I have to go back to ipad when I soon will buy a new tablet. PS if anybody has good advice or solutions to this i would be gratefule for that

Besides the sheer pixel density during the whole video the tab s7 fes screen looks way better to me. Brighter, bigger, more vivid. Wonder how you come to the conclusion to chose the iPad over the der screenvice?
@@BlazeZ__ yeah, i've finally tried ipad 9 for two months, but for mobile person i still prefer s6 lite. S6 lite has simcard, but ipad 9 you have to pay more for the simcard. There are few things to consider if you will rely on tablet, s6 lite can't change zoom background, while ipad9 works almost the same as laptop. But, i guess fe works for zoom background. I think the considetation to choose is the feature that you need the most, for the quality they all work very well.
Between the two, the IPad 9 is the better value. Even if the Tab S7 FE is cheaper, it's cheaper for a good reason. It has less Performance and Longevity than the IPad 9
Just had some people ask me, why apple is often more expensive and less advance than Samsung with the one in the range of about same price. If you know where to buy the material and know how to build them, you could get a phone or tablet extremely cheap compared to the price in store. Because of this, in some countries, Samsung FE offered trade-in deal since they are still making money even though not much. Remember, calculation for a price finalization is material cost, labor cost, overhead cost, *EXECUTIVES WAGES* and more unlisted. they could set the price anyhow they want and people already accepted the fact that technology is more expensive than food. :)
All I want is for drawing, but I don't know which one should I get, because both design are incredible amazing, but iPad 9 has Procreate while Samsung Tab has Krita. These two apps are the best, but I can't get both in a one device. Krita has animation studio but UI is so complicated, it is also good app, while procreate has the rich-feature, easy to use and have the high quality, it has the animation maker too, but it's for the GIF only. I know everyone going to pick iPad because of fast and stable, yeah small size but good quality while Samsung has the big screen and customization but laggy. So in the end of the conclusion, I'm going to pick iPad 9 because of Procreate, I know Krita is also good, but it seems complicated for me.
I have samsung tabs4 and iPad 9thgen and my aunt bought the Samsung ones and my mom bought the ipad 9th, my aunt has put face lock while my mom touch id, so one day my mom wanted to check out my aunt's samsung tab and when she turned it on, it unlocked without face lock becuase my aunt and mom looks same so the bot thought it was aunt who unlocked it but it was my mom 😀

Here in BR we're stil stuck with the iPad 8, and the S7 FE costs like 10% more than it (R$ 2700 vs R$ 3000), so I'm almost convinced to choose the S7 for working....... or maybe I shouldn't?
What u should do is wait for the iPad 9 to get in stock. If you can’t wait then get the iPad 8. Or u can get the regular S7. Not FE. The FE may have better design but let’s be real app support/optimization is essential for most tablets hence why I personally recommend an iPad

It could be… not sure yet, but based on apple record…. iPad Pro - 2018 iPad Air - 2020 iPad Mini - 2021 There is possibly that it will reached to standard iPad in few more years. If iPad Air sales doing a really good job, they might redesign standard iPad into those new design and finally switch to USB C Why I’m saying iPad Air ? Quick question for you: what is an alternative for Procreate that you've found. I know this info is one Google search away, but I know you mentioned in the video you've found alternatives, and I am just curious if you had one for that app. (if I were to go the Samsung route)
I much prefer Android phones over iPhones but Android Tablets are inferior to iPads. Google need to release a Tablet specific version of Android because those tablets just can't compete. I really object to paying premium prices for Samsung Flagship phones as they don't have a long support cycle. I'd rather by a midrange Oneplus and save my money. Overall Apple really does own the Tablet space and the os updates are superb. The iPad 9 will still be getting updates after the Samsung Tablet is just a paperweight. Great video thanks 👍
Tbh i dont understand why samsung is unable to inbuild the stylus within the device like how they do on their note models. It would make the experience so much better.

Remember the Tab F7 is automatically set to "vivid color" but you can always change it to natural color.

The spen has an amazing response, amazing accuracy and it comes with the tablet, its a big bonus cuz i dont have to spend extra 100dollar just to do writing on my tablet, thats One of the reason to choose s7fe instead of an ipad cuz why pay more to do the same thing. Multitasking is a next level on s7 fe, i watch a video provided by my lecturer, opening question example in pdf document and do exersice writing on samsung notes all at the same time, with 12.4 inch screen size, it is very² convenient . Samsung DeX is great but i rarely use it. In terms of the performace, S7 fe has a decent performing multi apps, decent photo/video editting performance using canva & capcut. As both student and my daily job going meetings, doing lots of note & do presentations,, i am very² satisfy with s7fe . I use huawei matepad 10.4 from 2020 bofore, but dont like it because bad app support exprience. So Things that is important to me for a tablet is memory, battery life, digital pen, multi tasking, screen size , app support . This is my experience & opinion based on my purpose of use. So i guess to get the best tablet that satisfies you, list all what you want to do with your tablet when you get it including cost related, then you may choose the one that is right for ya, Especially if your lifestyle is full of productivity work.

I realize for my work, i need a 2 in 1 laptop now. I need a desktop powerhouse with super portability like a tablet . Because i do a lot of travel for work. Maybe i will upgrade to Microsoft Surface pro 9 next year.

it's crazy how affordable the ipad is in the US. in my country, the 256gb wifi version ipad is priced the same as the 128gb wifi fe. factor in the price of the apple pencil and it's easily much more expensive.

It's because iphone are mostly assembled in the US. So outside the US it comes with the added shipping fees and etc fees at the expense of the consumer. Apple likes to charged everything on their consumers so expect it to be hella expensive outside US.

Watching this video on my new S7 FE. Samsung has been having ridiculously good trade in deals. I sent in my old S2 tablet and ended up getting the FE and Galaxy buds 2 for $100 brand spanking new. Runs great so far. Second screen feature is a pleasant surprise. I'd honestly prefer a slightly smaller display size but I won't complain too much for what I paid.

This may not be a consideration for many people, but file transfer ability is something that is important to me. I often transfer large video files from my Windows desktop to my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra phone. I have an 802.11 AX network with a similar card in my phone. Wireless file transfers are very fast and I have the option of using USB Type C if I wish. I am not in the Apple ecosystem, nor am I into gaming, so the Samsung tablet would better suit my needs. The iPad air with 256 GB would address all of my needs, but it costs $979.00 here in Canada ($779.00 for the 64 GB version) which I find to be a lot to pay for a tablet and I would still need to buy a stylus.
Just buy a windows lappy for that price range. iPad is too costly compared to storage and multipurpose use.

@12:00 yes android apps does have rotation problems, but it can be solved with "Rotation | Orientation Manager."
You can set different rotation settings for each apps, and force apps to rotate in a way you want.

Samsung allows you to force orientation apps which works fine with most apps. I find multitasking much better on the Samsung. And DeX works wonders when you need to to do productivity tasks. The Tab S7 is better than both and is quite affordable now. Keyboard integration, SD expansion and S pen included.

For media consumption, Netflix, RUclips, Note taking (S Note), sketching (Adobe Sketch) the FE is better option. But there are still many apps working on iPad way better and more optimized but I don't think that the performance would be an issue on the FE.
The problem is. In my case I would definitely want a bigger screen and better looking tablet. Still, I face some problems: 1- most people in college use an ipad for note taking, especially notability, so sharing notes is easier 2 - Even when using the tablet only for notetaking, mid to long term when u get many notebooks and notes sections/subjects, it’ll start to lag/delay in a not so good processor, and 3 - if you’re using it for notetaking u probably want a paperlike screen protector, or any matte screen protector if u might, in that case, considering the lower ppi and colour resolution of the S7FE, its price makes no sense at all

If you are an iPhone user, don't consider the Tab S7 FE.
Me personally I think the Tab S7 FE is a better tablet, has bigger display, is more versatile,
has a better battery life, runs Android (which is a pro and a con), cheap expandable storage, it is actually build better and looks more modern than iPad 9 etc.
Software updates are not that important on Android as they are on iOS/iPadOS.
Most of apps on Android are written for Android 5 and above.
And still 3 years is not as good as Apple's 5 years of updates, but it is a good thing.
Tab S7 FE is a bit more expensive, but you get more display, battery and features.
So I would recommend the Tab S7 FE, unless you have an iPhone or a MacBook.
You should really only buy the iPad over the S7 FE if you need the exclusive Apple Apps. As an IPhone user I don’t need access to my photos, iMessage, FaceTime, or calling on my productivity and media consumption device. Those apps are literally the reason I have an IPhone, if I had a tablet that did the same thing then there’s a device I don’t need in that duo.

I am so confused when I comes to the tab S7 FE. I was going to buy it and then saw the specs and pricing. I ended up buying the S7 256gb for not much more. That is what better tablet for the money. I liked it so much I also just ordered the Tab S7 plus 256gb as it was on sale for 100$ more than my S7.

This is such a fantastic comparison video and I thank you for that! I have been spending WEEKS being torn over the Samsung Tab S7 and iPads (9, Mini 6 and Air 4). I finally decided, after a billion review videos and careful thought (what can I say, I'm a tech lover and enjoy the planning process, lol), that I should just go for the iPad 9. Realistically, all I need it for is for eReading, streaming videos, and the occasional work.
I've been a Samsung/Android user for around a decade and have always loved the freedom Android offers. However, I have played around with my friends' old iPads and have been blown away by their snappiness and lack of lag, despite their age. In my experience, it feels like Samsung nerfs their software over time (it's why I disabled automatic updates on my Note 10 Plus and I have yet to deal with any lag... The same can't be said with my previous Sammy phones). I literally ALMOST executed an order for the Samsung S7, but you brought me back to sanity and I thank you for that!

Love the FE, bought it as a gift for someone. They wanted me too tweak it for usage, cause I go extra on the security measures. And, better than I expected. The spec junkies need to stop. My personal Tab is S7 and this one is on par with performance. Zippy and a beautiful screen. And I know cause I have super amoled on 3 other devices I daily drive. Could hardly put it down. The person I bought it for loves it.
After owning an 8 inch Samsung tablet, my primary focus was finding a tablet with a larger screen and 5G capabilities. After some research, I went with the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. I was disappointed to find that this tab was weaker than the WiFi version. I still bought it, though.
COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. It feels like a premium product and it's more than capable of handling everything I've thrown at it so far. I love it.

There is one very important function that the Galaxy is FAR better for. If you need to transfer content from a PC to the tablet, you just plug a USB cable between the two, it shows up as a portable drive, and you can drag files over to it, no problem. There is literally no way to do that with an Ipad. Going through the cloud is NOT the same. The closest you can do with an Ipad is to copy files to a flashdrive with USB on one side and a lighting plug on the other (for an Ipad 9 at least) and do it in two steps. Given that I have a large collection of PDF files on my PC that I want to work with on the tablet, this is definitely a consideration.
Important to note the S7 FE does not have a real biometric as the facial recognition is not a secure form, essentially just picture recognition with no depth mapping.

I would take the FE over IPad any day after putting my hands on it. Wasn't expecting it to be that damn good. Geez, super immersive, the screen is gorgeous and it is as fast as Tab S7. Absolutely no lag. It's a beautiful tablet and I love the size, feels real good in the hands. If I knew it was going to be that good would have bought two. Got it for a real good price.

Apps aren't optimized for Android tablets so I would take the iPad just for the better software
Before buying FE, remember it ships with 4 GB RAM. Even the budget mobile phones come with atleast 6 GB

I am not in the Apple ecosystem - currently using a Samsung S10+ and a Windows PC. I need a tablet for basic productivity work, watching movies, & video calls. Based on your review, I think the Ipad 9 would be a better option in terms of price, long OS support and better chipset (which will give usability of up to 5 years or more). The same can't be said of the S7 FE despite it having a lot of nicer hardware. I am looking for a tablet that can offer real value for my money. The only thing holding me back is, would it be a pain using these different ecosystems together? i.e.: transferring files, user experience etc. I would really appreciate some inputs on this. Thanks!
I suggest getting the S7 or S7+ instead of S7FE as I for sure know that there will be a price drop soon on the release of tab S8. So it is much better to buy S7 or S7+ during the sale. The ecosystem will be in sync with your phone and this is my option as well because we both have s10+ and a windows laptop.
The only apple product i have is the ipad air 2019 and using it for the past year, ive had no problems at all, i do note taking, zoom, videos, and browsing. Microsoft and google services work flawlessly.
I was in the same situation as you just recently: I also have an S10+ and use a Windows PC and was tempted to stick within the Samsung ecosystem but instead opted for a refurbished iPad Pro, and to tell you honestly I have no regrets! Personally, I find the app ecosystem to be better on the iPadOS side, which is why in the end, I got myself an iPad :) Hope this helps!
For basic productivity work s7 fe processor is enough
I have a Galaxy S8 phone and a windows pc but I just bought the iPad 9 to update my ageing iPad Air gen1. I did consider getting the Tab S7 as the specs, on paper, are better but the apps on the iOS are just better, and I’ve had my iPad Air 8 yrs and only now am I seeing issues with app support and updates etc.

hi! luckily i just bought S7FE for my mom cause she need portability gadget for her job. I just wanna say that even s7fe is amazing for me, the screen look wonderful althought it's tft (i compared to my super amoled phone and it's look pretty similar), the feels of writing or sketching is great and i think its better than ipad in the case (i tried using ipad 4 2020 which is my sister's so atleast i know the feel of using ipad), and the samsungdex is cool. i can say for a student you better buy s7+ (because you don't mind the price) cause it will be more amazing.

If you are student and you want tablet for studies like For notes taking you must go for ipad but if u prefer entertainment like gaming , movies etc go for Galaxy Tab S7 FE. If you want both ultimately I will suggest Ipad.

Btw, in my country, for students, we can placed order for either tablet or ipad on the education store. So for ipad 9 I got it at $337 (64gb) and for s7 fe (64gb wifi) at $369. Yes for long term i spoke to my friend who works in an IT DEPARTMENT. He said ipad 9gen wins because of its powerful software .. but for student use and multiple productivity he recommend to take samsung. That will only last u for 1-2 years.

i have both tab s series and iPad series. All good stuffs. Different is Eco system and some app that android did not available example Good notes App. So depend on your usage if you are seriously productivity applications go pc after that go mobile with surface go or iPad.

I just ordered the ipad 9 , i already have a samsung phone , and oneui is kinda laggy in term of animations , so the big reason why im picking the ipad , is the ipados which looks much better , smoother but i agree samsung has better multitasking
From a hobby photagrapher point of view. I used to have the old ipad pro, when connecting the sd card reader to transfer my pictures, it worked great. I then later bought the samsung tab s6. When connecting the sd card reader, the photos comes up in files. but alle the photos are viewed in a very very small preview, so you cant actually see the photos good enough to make decisions about what to transfer and what to not. So im forced to transfer everything, hundreads of raw files, then go through when it it stored on my s6 and delete away what I dont like. This was not a issue with the ipad pro I had previously, you could easily preview the photos on the card in a large nice way and select what you want to transfer. I really wish this silly problem could be solved, and I wonder if it is still like that with the s7? Because in all other ways i prefer the s6 over ipad, but this one thing will become a deal breaker and I have to go back to ipad when I soon will buy a new tablet. PS if anybody has good advice or solutions to this i would be gratefule for that

Only the tab S7+ has a super amoled display, and that one is NOT budget friendly. You'll spend over 900 americsn dollars on that one.

@@BlazeZ__ yeah, i've finally tried ipad 9 for two months, but for mobile person i still prefer s6 lite. S6 lite has simcard, but ipad 9 you have to pay more for the simcard. There are few things to consider if you will rely on tablet, s6 lite can't change zoom background, while ipad9 works almost the same as laptop. But, i guess fe works for zoom background. I think the considetation to choose is the feature that you need the most, for the quality they all work very well.
I bough the iPad 9 for my mom and we loved it.
But I got to say that “Samsung dex” looks amazing. 🤩
Between the two, the IPad 9 is the better value. Even if the Tab S7 FE is cheaper, it's cheaper for a good reason. It has less Performance and Longevity than the IPad 9

Just had some people ask me, why apple is often more expensive and less advance than Samsung with the one in the range of about same price. If you know where to buy the material and know how to build them, you could get a phone or tablet extremely cheap compared to the price in store. Because of this, in some countries, Samsung FE offered trade-in deal since they are still making money even though not much. Remember, calculation for a price finalization is material cost, labor cost, overhead cost, *EXECUTIVES WAGES* and more unlisted. they could set the price anyhow they want and people already accepted the fact that technology is more expensive than food. :)
All I want is for drawing, but I don't know which one should I get, because both design are incredible amazing, but iPad 9 has Procreate while Samsung Tab has Krita. These two apps are the best, but I can't get both in a one device. Krita has animation studio but UI is so complicated, it is also good app, while procreate has the rich-feature, easy to use and have the high quality, it has the animation maker too, but it's for the GIF only. I know everyone going to pick iPad because of fast and stable, yeah small size but good quality while Samsung has the big screen and customization but laggy. So in the end of the conclusion, I'm going to pick iPad 9 because of Procreate, I know Krita is also good, but it seems complicated for me.

I have samsung tabs4 and iPad 9thgen and my aunt bought the Samsung ones and my mom bought the ipad 9th, my aunt has put face lock while my mom touch id, so one day my mom wanted to check out my aunt's samsung tab and when she turned it on, it unlocked without face lock becuase my aunt and mom looks same so the bot thought it was aunt who unlocked it but it was my mom 😀

Here in BR we're stil stuck with the iPad 8, and the S7 FE costs like 10% more than it (R$ 2700 vs R$ 3000), so I'm almost convinced to choose the S7 for working....... or maybe I shouldn't?
If you need an app that's apple specific, then get the ipad. Otherwise, get the S7 FE. It is overall better table excluding the app situation.
The tab s7 FE is a very good choice, I have the s6 lite and it is very useful so I think that the s7 FE must be better.
What u should do is wait for the iPad 9 to get in stock. If you can’t wait then get the iPad 8. Or u can get the regular S7. Not FE.
The FE may have better design but let’s be real app support/optimization is essential for most tablets hence why I personally recommend an iPad

Quick question for you: what is an alternative for Procreate that you've found. I know this info is one Google search away, but I know you mentioned in the video you've found alternatives, and I am just curious if you had one for that app. (if I were to go the Samsung route)
I much prefer Android phones over iPhones but Android Tablets are inferior to iPads. Google need to release a Tablet specific version of Android because those tablets just can't compete.
I really object to paying premium prices for Samsung Flagship phones as they don't have a long support cycle. I'd rather by a midrange Oneplus and save my money. Overall Apple really does own the Tablet space and the os updates are superb. The iPad 9 will still be getting updates after the Samsung Tablet is just a paperweight. Great video thanks 👍

Tbh i dont understand why samsung is unable to inbuild the stylus within the device like how they do on their note models. It would make the experience so much better.
lol they are phasing out the inbuild stylus and favoring a bigger separate stylus. that's what gonna happen on the next note.

I suggest you to buy an iPad, because according to some people, the Samsung Tab only updates their OS, only for 1 - 2 years, after that there will be no more updates, so maybe you will Found a problem

Wow anyone else think the Tab FE has so much better video quality for the front facing camera? the Ipad is so fuzzy and no definition, the audio is also miles apart, yet he thinks it is better... makes me think there is some messed up ranking here. It is not even close.
