for years I would get buzzcuts or keep my hair short as hell because I had no idea what the hell to do with this mop of hair I have on my head. then, one day, I read the side of a product that said "perfect for curly hair" it changed my life. I can't tell you how many videos I watched on curly hair and not one person mentioned using it lol.....? hopefully this helps someone else out there. godspeed lol.
HERE'S A LINK TO THE PRODUCT I'M USING: www.harrys.com...

So I bet when you made this video you never knew you would help out a 56 year old Grammy. Long story short. Had straight hair my whole life. Had chemo. Hair came back thick and curly. Now at 56 I have to learn a whole new hair routine. I have searched RUclips and your video helped the most. I’m low maintenance. No time at all for all the primping stuff. Tried your method. Easy peasy. Plus my husband came home and loved my hair. Now I can rock my new curls. Thanks a million. Love the video. 😊
I love this comment ! U just made my week. Happy to help and I apologize for the chaos in this video lol
this is adorable
❤️❤️
Aw, grandma! It's never too late to start anything, and 56 truly isn't that old. Also my favorite number haha! This comment made my day. Thank you.
I hope you’re healthy and enjoying your new hair!!
I wish the internet had more videos like this. Short, quick and with an actual helpful tip.
Glad it helped !!
Dream cock
Getting a buzzcut when you have curls like that is borderline criminal. I'm glad you have found your magic hair product. May those curls live long!
That’s exactly what every barber used to tell me 😂😂
sorry but im still im shaving it off

@@peachseob94 you have curly hair?
Mannn I’m close to doing it but I’m gonna give it one last try with what he showed in the video but if this don’t work I think ima give up😂
I was born in the 60's prior to internet. I never learned how to fix my curly hair. I fought it my whole life. Finally figured out when I was about 25 to STOP TOUCHING IT! Just shake it out. Add a little product (back in the 80's it was mousse). Never comb it, never brush it. Just leave it alone. Scrunch it a little but nothing else. I had gorgeous hair until it started to fall out. I finally cut it off in my 40's but my long curly hair years were awesome.,
I'm glad you made this video. I would have learned to love my hair 15 years earlier if RUclips had existed.
This comment made the whole video worth it!! Appreciate the hell outta you telling me this 🙏🏼 i wish i could have experienced life during the 60s-80s.

It's not nice to want to see him become an explosive
Reading the first part i thought u meant like literally you wanted him to explode 💀
I remember back when I was in high school I had long curly hair and never knew what to do with it. I was too anxious to try out different hairstyles so I just let it grow.
I started going through hairloss throughout my 20s and now Im 27 and I gotta say I really miss having this amount of hair..
Be nice to your hair people, curls are beautiful. You never know how long you got it.

Lowkey it looks good with bed head
this is a great tip lol it would cut down my morning routine timing lmao
@@MrFrankieJoseph yeah LMFAOO
@@MrFrankieJoseph yeah honestly curly hair looks good just without effort most of the time. I have straight hair so i gotta like wet and blow dry my shit to even get a little wave and volume in the morning
@@muhammedqali8576 yeah...dry, frizzy and curly hair type...very annoying and frustrated to style it...

I found this out naturally by myself too. I got too worked up over hair routine, curling creams, all these different techniques when at the end of the day, just scrunching in some pomade on my wet hair gave the best results. Great video btw. Straight to the point and hilarious. Subbed!
Yes Connor! The worst was when people would say to put curl cream in and leave the house with soaking wet hair like that was just a good idea lmao. I always knew there had to be a better way 😂
This video gave me 2008 youtube vibes and then seeing you in the mirror with an actual camcorder instead of a phone gave me an odd sense of happiness mixed with nostalgia, so many things are just filmed on phones nowadays. Awesome video though, I definitely go way too hard on drying my hair with a towel, definitely gonna stop doing that now haha
Means a lot!! I grew up watching the glory days of youtube when Jenna Marbles was running things 😂 using the camcorder makes the whole process a lot more fun than using a phone
And yessir !! Don’t dry it too aggressively 😂 that’s the best tip in there lol
"Vibes" was not as in common use, in 2008. Read a book to strengthen the immense multitude of your vocabulary.

This is life changing for me! I did it and had to come back to say how glad I am to have found your video. Not only are you funny but you also shared valuable information that works so well. For the first time in my life I felt comfortable with my hair without doing anything crazy. I received so many compliments about my hair in a single day. Thank you. I found this video when you had like 157 subscribers and I’m glad the channel is growing so fast.
maaaaaan i love to hear this!!! I appreciate the words, just trying to help other people so I'm glad it worked for you!!
As a 26 yrs old who had been straightening his curly hair for the entire life just because it is easier, I felt your using the word curse. But nowadays I realized that the leaving it more natural the better and I found ur this very useful 5 mins video which is so helpful and encouraging man with your amazing humorous. Thanks for the video keep it up!!
My man!! A blessing and a curse these days lmao. Glad it helped out 🤌🏼
incredible chaotic energy, i haven't laughed this hard at a grooming tutorial ever. keep making videos my guy 💪
I appreciate that!! Growing up in a big Italian family just breeds chaotic energy lmao
Thank you so much for this video! I've been struggling with my coarse, frizzy hair for years and this was 100% a game changer for me.
Ayy!! I’m glad it worked for u 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Man you are a life savior. I've been my whole life trying to tame my curls. No joke, just like you I tried EVERYTHING i saw on internet about curly hair, nothing worked, and then in a 5min video you dropped this gem. In my case I used a Leave In Conditioner + The Pomade bacause my hair is a very coarse and frizzy 3b kinda like. My hair is better than it has ever been, ty so much for this. Um SALVE from Brazil!

Thanks a lot for this, it's really helped me. Somehow I am the only one in my family that ended up with curly hair so I grew up never having guidance on how to style or care for it. It's definitely caused a lot of frustration for me over the years, similar to yourself. I'm in my 30s now but just tried your routine and had great results, better late than never!

Yes ! Lmk if this works for u. Same boat lol I’m not trying to have a 30 min hair routine every morning 🆘🆘
@@MrFrankieJoseph nah dude, we as curly guys need a silicone parabene alcohol free shampoo and conditioner, a co wash 2-3 times a week, a curly hair mask 2 times a week, a curly hair special towel, we can't use regular blow-dryer, we need a diffuser or best a helmet dryer , then some antifrizz serum let that dry for 10 min, then add some oil let that sink in for another 10 min or so then some styling. Voila done.... Do this daily and you go 🙃🤪💥
Did it work ?
@@tj5180 Oh bro absolutely. For the past year at school apparently people think for my hair is perfect every day 😂😂 Think this tutorial may really have been life changing 🙏🙏
Followed your advice after looking for a product for my 15 year old's curly hair. He's been using pomade ever since!
Ayyy!!! Awesome. I’m glad it’s workin for him.
Just recently found out using Marc Anthony styling foam with pomade is great.
Your vid is a life saver. As a woman who cut her hair really short, especially in the back, it was impossible to find tutorials for women with that length and is curly.
Yes!!! I’m so happy to hear this. This really is more of a “short” curly hair tutorial - doesn’t have to be for just guys 🤌🏼🔥 glad it worked for u!
@@MrFrankieJoseph That's very true! But I think my search somehow filters more towards what it thinks I want, so I had to do a bit of scrolling to actually find my hair length, which was your video!
Dude thanks - so relatable... I'm 31 and have hair just like yours and almost scheduled a haircut today but thought I would search to see if there's anyway I could manage the crazyness before cutting it. Going to try these tips today and see how it goes. Great video!

as someone who just finished cosmetology school i still struggle finding products that work for me, cream and gel cocktail is my go to but product buildup is bad. i have a similar hair type to you (mines only curly like yours in the front) i'll have to try this out :) love their shaving cream!!!
I've been looking for something for my husband that would be an easy one step thing to take care of the curls he's growing out. Thank you so much for such a simple and honest review of the product!
Great!!! I hope it helps 🙏🏼🙏🏼
As someone with curly hair, I can't agree more!
I actually appriciate this video so much. Every since I was little I've always been self conscious about my hair because I didn't like how short my mom would cut it. Eventually my mom let me grow it out in middle school but I didn't know how to take care of it. So I lived with my monster curly hair until 10th grade where I found a hair cut I liked, but I was still self conscious about my curls. (I dunno why I didn't like curls I always wanted hair like julian Casablancas). I got so fed up with it being messy that I went to a barber to shave most of it but they did a terrible job. I have a very subpar mid haircut and I'm about to go to college I'm very anxious but this video helped calm me down and give my curly hair a try again when it grows back (I like the bed head curls your had I want messy hair like that)
My man!!! I have a very similar story. I even used to chemically straighten it lol. Go watch some of my newer videos too, more tips there. Biggest tip is just to embrace that shit. We have so many curly haired homies to look up to these days. Plus it makes us unique, everyone’s got that pin straight Mad Men hair lol rock that shit !!
I'm so glad I found this video because you have almost the exact same type of hair as me. I literally did the one thing you said not to do and I didn't get a matte finish, so I looked like I dipped my head in pizza grease for the last two days 😭😭 Thanks for making this.
Oh boy I’ve made that mistake before lmao pizza grease is an accurate description 😂
The glorious shake 🎉🎉🎉 first guy with my type of curly hair!!!! Bless you
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Another thing I learned from a curly hair specialist at a salon was to use a clarifying shampoo once a month. It makes so much more of a difference in terms of deep cleaning my hair and it always comes out a lot lighter in weight and holds the curls more. Less weight of any product in hair (including leftover residue) will always make your curls more pronounced
great tip!!!
I was thinking about using a clarifying shampoo once a month. Do you have to use conditioner? Can I just use like an oil or something?
@@QASSHE you probably could, but personally when I’ve used a straight up oil my hair looks/feels really greasy. Maybe a leave-in conditioner instead?
Aaaaa thanks for this short quick video and not a expensive 15 minutes long 12 hours of hair care routine
Lmao that why my problem when I first made this video, could only find the longest tutorials 😂
as a guy with long natural curly hair, this is a life saver
I prefer the bedhead, your hair looks so good. The pomade routine i think can be summed up to your very true opening statement, "everyone wants what they can't have".
Appreciate that 😂😂 maybe it looks better than I think lmao
this channel is so chill, gotta sub, i love the energy lol
ayyy!! welcome to the shitshow my friend. glad to have ya
I used to have curly hair, I've had curly hair FOREVER!! It got straight and flat all the sudden. I turned to the internet, and, along with other videos, your advice has led me to get my curls back! It's hard to find videos for people with short, curly hair. Let alone men's. Thank you so much!!! Subscribing and can't wait to see what else you make!!
!!! Maaaaan I’m happy to hear that! It’s a journey with this hair lol but I felt the same way. Couldn’t find any good advice so finally figured something easy out and thought I’d share 😂 appreciate the comment and love my friend !!
I'm a water only man with my hair. It seems to tame my curls well too, though I'm not as curly as you. And it took me some time to figure out how I like to take care of it. But yea, learning how to be able to just...wear the hair...it changes things, you know??
My hair is like...right on the cusp between wavy and curly
Absolutely. Embracing it is half the battle lmao
@@MrFrankieJoseph I'm behind you on that 100%. There are a lot of hair problems that people create themselves by doing too much to their hair in the first place. Simple is best, for sure!
bro i got the same issue my hair is wavy but not quite curly annoying af
@@wakkjobbwizard Why??? Maybe you perceive it as annoying only because you don't know how you want to take care of it. Like this guy's saying in the video...
@@callmeswivelhips8229 hi man i just wanna ask if is it normal that my hair is pretty curly in the front but the rest is wavy.
I'm an early teen, and since around 10 / right before or early puberty my hair curled up. Ive loved it, and it was very fun to have some change in my looks, but recently I realized how frizzy and just loose it was. It was very frizzy and tended to look like shaggy from scooby doo shape-wise! Just buying a texturizing putty like you mentioned not only reduced frizz severely, but it feels better and looks a ton better. It also has the shape i want! Thank you.
Yes my man!!! It took me until I was 29 to figure it out lol I’m glad this helped you early on 🙏🏼🙏🏼

some of the realest content on the internet, love this man
Appreciate the love my friend !!
In Brazil we use "curl defining jelly/gelatin". It's similar to gel for hair but different, the process is the same you did with pomade with only one step further: to use an capilar oil to loosen the curls after the gelatin dries, if you don't want a shiny wet and hard look. I tried to use pomade but my hair became oily and empasted and with less pomade it doesn't define the curls (my hair is 2bc, wavy more than curly).
I’m almost 50, didn’t know I hat curly hair until I stopped getting a buzz cut…all my friends have lost/losing their hair…I have this long curly hair but didn’t know how to style it…thank you so much….I can’t wait to show it off!

thats how we learn to dry things fast with a towel, but with curly hair or even whathever type of hair specially thin one you dont want to unwet completely right at the moment but leave a little bit of humidity or moisture, that thing helps for the products you use and also for frizz

Gotta just let it air dry for a day without touching it and see which way it leans!! then go from there
It’s probably wavy, I have wavy hair and right after I wash it it’s really wavy or even curly but as time goes on the waves fall out and it looks straight. It’s definitely important to use some sort of product for wavy hair to hold it in place

my curl is somewhere between 3b-3c(beyond dry). Tried Pomade it doesn’t look greasy or too dry, not hassle to use, has solid hold, doesn’t evaporate easily, not uncomfortable, CHEAP. loved it after 4 yrs of tryin from leavin shampoo, leavin the conditioner, hair lotion only etc 😂 pomade might be the better overall to maintain that moisture. thankyouu
Yes !! That’s what I’m thinking. The pomade holds everything together lol unlike all the other products that hydrate it but has no hold and just makes things chaotic
