    Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but as a 3b curly girl, I've learned that a cotton Tshirt is much better to use versus a bath towel, which can easily cause frizz. And keep it almost soaking until you begin styling/drying. Takes longer, but the smoother curls are worth it.

For me, it works well enough. My curls are on the bigger/looser side of the 3a (but they are still spirals), so it may be different if your hair is tighter

    That curling stuff is good! I used to use it before using a blowdry to dry my hair and I used to put my head upside down and slide my fingers on my scalp, pinch my fingers together (so 👋🏼✋🏼, open close) and pull away from my scalp. That gave me SOO much volume and i liked how the top wasn't flat or too curly.
    For the rest i just pulled my curls while they were drying and it gave a wavy effect which i really liked 😊 i should do it again

    The Pete and Pedro conditioner actually says in its directions to rinse it out. Its ingredients also contain sulfates, which can damage your hair if left in. Would you still recommend using it as a leave in conditioner?

    • @DemetriosLevi
      @DemetriosLevi  10 месяцев назад +3

      Oh shit, I didn't even know that! Thanks for pointing that out. If it damages your hair and it says to rinse out than either rinse it out or use a sulfate-free conditioner. I personally never had any problems when I used P&P and my hair was always healthy, but maybe if I would have kept using it, overtime it could possibly have damaged it. It worked for me, but that's just me. I think it's up to you at that point. If leaving conditioner in gets you good results, then go for a sulfate free.

    Wash head with shampoo.
    Add conditioner for a couple mins then wash it out a bit.
    Squeeze the water out with bare hands (hair still should be pretty wet).
    Then Im applying good amount of strong hold gel and trying to entirely cover all the hair in it (there more hair is wet at the beginning there more straight it will be).
    Then just letting the hair air dry without any hairband.

    Im very confused as to how you dont have a high subscriber and view count around now, your production quality is insane and your editing style and colour grading is very unique and memorable.
    Is it that those topics are not very searched on?, is it that you’ve not been posting consistently (generally) ?
    Is your retention and CTR bad?
    Do viewers click off too quickly and so does youtube decide to bury your channel?

    hey~ My husbands hair naturally looks like your finished hair in this video! Were trying to find him a good barber. Do you have any styling advice for him OR type of hair cut?

    How do you do the opposite? Got 3A/3B hair; but wanna make it tighter/stronger variant of 3B; possibly some 3C too.

    • @virginiamontaldo440
      @virginiamontaldo440 Год назад

      Might want to try a light protein treatment to see if those curls tighten up a bit (though be careful not to overdo it, too much unneeded protein ruins hair). Going from tighter to looser is always easier than the reverse!

    • @donmoez6289
      @donmoez6289 Год назад

      @@virginiamontaldo440 Any recommendations? I use Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Conditioner atm, and that has protein I think. But I assume it's not an actual protein treatment right?

    • @KC-ed1dj
      @KC-ed1dj Год назад

      @donmoez My hair is protein sensitive, but every few mths, do a light 2 min protein treatment with the Aphrogee 2- Min protein product. I use the Aphrogee Rebalancing Conditioner right after. My curls seem to curl/pop more after. That would be a good combo for you to try. You can find bottles or one-time use packs of both of these products at Sally's beauty shops. Just make sure you get the 2 MINUTE one not the deep protein treatment as they come in similar bottles.

    • @donmoez6289
      @donmoez6289 Год назад

      @@KC-ed1dj You think that specific product would help for 3A-3B? I remember my hair dresser saying my hair might be damaged and protein would help. And thanks for your recommendation.

    • @KC-ed1dj
      @KC-ed1dj Год назад

      @donmoez I don't think the 2 Min treatment would hurt and it's worth a try. It should make your hair curlier if it is lacking protein. My hair HATES most protein anything and I can use these products and I feel they benefit my hair when used occssionally. (I am a dense 3C/3B btw.) Get the one-time use packs and try it on a section of your hair first and see what it does. Make sure to also get the Rebalancing Conditioner (also available in one-use pack). If you try it, please report back. Curious to know if it works for you.

    This is great! Now how do you get the curls on the bottom to stretch more into a wave? 🤔
    (Btw I’m a girl, have longer hair, similar type curl and density to your hair, and trying to find non- heat/chemical treatment ways to relax all curls into more of a wave while growing my hair out- its shoulder length at the moment).
    Hexagonal layered cut, love it! 😊

I get it weighs it down but it made my hair feel awful to touch, any advice? I feel like maybe rinsing out the conditioner & just using detangler & curl butter would be the best shout

    It's a pity you disappeared. I found your videos to be absolutely fantasic and they greatly helped improve my style. My legs are 28 inch and I am 5 7 so your ideas about wearing high rise pants literally changed my (old) life.
    Having a fat belly wasn't easy to treat either. And I've been exercising daily!!! Double pleated trousers changed my game. I now can enjoy a great look that conceals my fat me (nope, not doing the body positivity woke-ness thing! Fat is fat lol ). Trying to lose weight but... for the meantime, I'm an undercover double pleater!
    All I need in life now is a shirt that isnt either' too wide in the arms as i am small and NOT fat there but good enough for my obesity-ridden abdomen, that looks amaze. lol
