Indian Culture is Great .The NRIs that come to India are considered as Gods form. It is considered as a symbol of respect and behavior in the Indian people. This is the heart of the heart. Trust in Indian people to help in love, behavior, and other Never forget that in India, the most special thing in India is that the people here marry and get married with the bride are born in the relationship of birth. Here the wife is respected as a goddess. Indian people are good at heart and true. My country is great I am proud to be Indian .i love my india
eplicse. Thanks for nice feelings. I am Indian and reside in Austria. I thought to travel last year Brazil. But due some unavoidable reason, failed. But next year I will visit.
and once again I say that Mexicans and Indians are more similar of what I thought. that's why I feel so comfortable knowing their culture and my friends are simply amazing, they understand my craziness and I understand theirs hehehe. I just hope in 2 years more finally be there and know what I already call my second home.
Hahaaha its so true... you actually noticed a lot while you stayed in India... and I get what you tried to say about the community thing... every Indian is proud of their region for instance the South, north, east and west so if suppose people from north go to the south people will show them the best of their culture and community and will try to make you feel at home because before all the geographical divisions we are all one we are all Indians ❤
The part where you cried made me cry too, because we westerners are so ungrateful with everything we have and when i see these humble people of india make me realize there are still my kind of people, honest, hard working, content, eversmiling and so pure hearted... im from Bosnia and i know that many people dont even know where that is but we have so much in common with indian people and i cant wait to go to india... this countdown make me crazy... thank you for mentioning these things... i havent spoken english in years so i dont know if you understand but i love you people... you are the best
I think it's the education that makes everyone unhappy 😩 When grandparents talk about simpler times, I really envy them. They wear poor and barely making their ends meet, but they wear all happy and content. But from the last few decades, there's a pressure to study more, earn more and it's increasing day by day and now it's like a burden. Education is no more about learning, it's about earning.
There is saying which is "Atithi Devo Bhava" . Meaning is " The guest is equivalent to God". Indians will go out of their way to help people from other countries even to the people coming from other states.
Jugaad however is something very special about India. I wouldn't define it as DIY though. I thing 'improvisation' is more appropriate. I have seen westerners say Indians lack innovation. I disagree strongly because I have seen Jugaad everywhere in India. In fact I think this is one trait of Indians that will make India a powerhouse of Innovation once more people have their basic needs. Where China excels at mass production and repetitive work, Indians will always beat them in creative customized solutions.
I am new to vlogging (I live under a rock) and I have to say I loveeeee and adore your videos and everything about you!! You are neverrrr boring!!! You're very inspirational and beautiful inside and out!!! Don't change a thing and keep on vlogging the way you do!!!
And not in the private sector. Through most of my career there we had 7 public holidays and 14 calendar days of paid leave. These included weekends so if a public holiday was on a Sunday, you didn't have the holiday. And 14 calendar days translate to 10 working days.
No. Other countries shut down for a month for Christmas and I mean offices too. Indians only shut down for government sanctioned holidays and "Bharat bandhs"
Really interesting things you say about India. The think I like the most is about being content and grateful with what they have. Usually people that don't have that much are always the most content ones, I got to experience that in Thailand as well. Maybe next time in India.
Bang on Ivy! India is colour , lights , warmth which u ll never get anywhere else! 70% of India lives in rural parts and I guess you haven’t seen it as much as the urban parts and trust me you will fall more in love in India after visiting rural parts! just read the the national pledge of India in our constitution and only the 2nd sentence says it all about us!
U just won indian hearts.. beautifully explained especially that Jugaad terminology 🤣 Nd thanks for your love and respect towards our country.. love from india..❤❤😍😊
This is me, an Indian living in The Netherlands and you could not have pointed out the differences in a better way. Absolutely love your videos and thank you for sharing this with us, DANK JE WEL!
Ivana, you made my day I was stuck 2 hours in traffic had a sore back and just a dull day - put on youtube back home, saw your new video and made me feel really good. You are a natural on camera, you speak the truth (but are very polite at the same time not to hurt anyone) and your observation powers are amazing, the amount of India you have covered in such a short time is remarkable and shows your enthusiasm to meet people and places. I am sure you have a great future in whatever you do, hope to see more of your VLOGs and become happy every time I see it. It would be great to meet you at your meet-up.
This was a very nice vlog Ivana ...not coz it was about India but because it takes a beautiful person to be able to see the beauty in others and that's what got me in this video ...Thanks for being kind , humble and above all accepting .... This is my own theory which goes like this - If you accept India , India accepts you ...which I can clearly see in your experiences n expressions ...so a big thankyou !!
You once again made me fall in love 😍 with India. Your list made me realise and cherish the things I had been taking for granted lately. Thanks ... More power to you. 😊

You really love India Ivana. When you put it in point form, I realise that you are so right about my motherland. We overlook so many things and take them for granted, and it took a visiting westerner to point them out for me. Thank you Iv. God Bless you. India is always there for you. Jai Hind!!
O my god IVANA i love you! You are so indian,i feel like you were an indian in your previous life! I would certainly love to have you in my house one day!!
Jugaad is a philosophy of carry on living with what you have. You dont need the best of things to be happy. What can we do right now to improve the situation. you are spot on with your list and I am sure it will grow as you visit more.
Loved your video. Yes, the community feeling is very strong in India....perhaps the most diverse country on earth but people living and thriving together most of the time without much problems. And yes Jugaad is an India-specific invention....it works!!

Ivana, I agree with all your reasons. Some of these are not easily noticed. More importantly, one has to have that open mind and be a seeker to notice these subtleties. Many of these are common to other eastern societies too.
You have aptly defined when you mentioned community living in India. To comprehend more about it, google the following words, “ Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam “ For centuries it’s been the way of life, which in India is fading relatively slower than other parts of the world.

Hi Ivana. Greetings from India. I saw your video "six reasons I love India" and I was happy to watch this too. Just some corrections. 1. Hindi is the national language. We have to learn it in school along with our regional language. So we learn three languages in school. Next Community-what you were trying to explain is basically stuff you learn in your school-help those in need, support your neighbours, be good to your family. We have strong family relations even with extended family. So I can easily visit a second cousin and stay in their house. Unfortunately many families are getting closed off because of western influence. Basically we also learn to get along with everyone. Nobody's great or special. Again something which is unfortunately changing Jugaad- yeah ✌ Crazy- very true Content- very very true
Funny thing that north eastern grandma was angry and was asking why did you take my picture? then Evana started speaking in hindi and her anger melted away and she started introducing her friends as well.
When you want to find good people you have to nice with them good people always get good people and you have beautiful and loving soul and this blessed you
I have described that sense of community as “intimacy.” Indians are more intimate with each other, and everyone is addressed literally, as a family member. For example and older person would be addressed as uncle or aunty, or father or mother, or brother or sister, etc.
i'm from brazil and i love india too

Its not education ,but the definition of success .

Ok here's an explaination for you about "THE COMMUNITY THING"
1. Always do good for others without taking credit .
2. Always think good for others.
3. Stay happy with what you have.
4. Always respect others , it's a two way street , you give it you get it.
5. We believe that somewhere deep inside there is a presence of god in everyone , every creature and everything .
It's written in our holy books , this what our ancestors followed these things.
These things are taught to us since childhood , this is what our culture teaches us , it's like we are hardwired forthese things . It's our value system. I hope it's simplified fir you now.

You have aptly defined when you mentioned community living in India.
To comprehend more about it, google the following words, “ Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam “
For centuries it’s been the way of life, which in India is fading relatively slower than other parts of the world.

So your mode of transport is Horse. Yes you get to roam around on a horse back, You feel like you've time travelled. And yes the views from there are..... I won't say watch is yourself.😇😇😇😇

Come to Gujarat, Vadodara city, in Navratri festival in October & stay up to Kite flying festival in January.
It's amazing in Gujarat.
you are probably the only foreigner traveller who has said anything about being content ,,,
it reminded me of a quote that "The world has enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed."
we as indians need to let go of that greed so that atleast every indian has enough for its need
+Imcrazyfornaruto This quote was also at Akshardam temple and spoke to me on so many levels. Thank you!
Love your reasons for your love for India.
wow dear. you are speaking Hindi so fluently. really proud of you. keep it up. when you will come India next time definitely you should come to east India the land of architecture

You love my country. Thanks mam.

Most of the South Indians don't really respect hindi (but i do, I'm from kerala)
@@akash3464 it's okay.
Why they respect they don't know Hindi.
They have their own language.
We can communicate in english 😌
Loved the video... And absolutely agreed with all your points 😍
Did you say northeast? Awesome. Really looking forward to see how you present the seven sisters. This part of India will surprise you (in a good way).

Again something which is unfortunately changing
Jugaad- yeah ✌
Crazy- very true
Content- very very true
PS Hindi is not the national language. India has 22 scheduled languages and English and Hindi as official languages but no national language.
Funny thing that north eastern grandma was angry and was asking why did you take my picture? then Evana started speaking in hindi and her anger melted away and she started introducing her friends as well.
best vlog ..... much love from india :)
When you want to find good people you have to nice with them good people always get good people and you have beautiful and loving soul and this blessed you
Your Awesome !! Seriously😊☺ !! Thankxx for your Love😘💓 !!
I have described that sense of community as “intimacy.” Indians are more intimate with each other, and everyone is addressed literally, as a family member. For example and older person would be addressed as uncle or aunty, or father or mother, or brother or sister, etc.
