I have been dreaming of becoming a data analyst since the day my church planned a love feast and hundreds of members promised different delicacies of food, we collated the whole raw data and as the secretary, i used my lay man excel knowledge to sort and interpret what we should expect on the D day, and my Pastor was blown away by my presentation because he asked if I have taken courses on data analytics. I am thrilled by your video, its such a huge blessing.
I know you made this video 3 years ago, but I would really love to say that this is the most informative video ever. I am a mathematical sciences student from South Africa, and I have been doing research on careers I could tab in. Data analyst being one of them. Thank you for sharing the information.

Hi Wale, great video! What you're saying on Excel is so true! Many bosses don't know or understand Python and some of them prefer to get the results in Excel so definitly a tool to master especially in an environment where data analysis is still new.

Today I was just searching for which Excel course to take. I also believe some of the things I've learned in python for analysis will help with my excel. I just came across your video and I must say it's a good one. I strongly recommend a little knowledge of python as well. Maybe because I started with python and also practised more using R and SQL. There is an article on medium about python and r which is best for analysis. It's an interesting one and I strongly recommend it.
I just finished a class on data analysis,anyone who says python is not needed is not serious about data analysis,for simple stuff you dont need it, but if you want to get serious , you absolutely need it.

In general, I like using Python (especially for tasks that need to be repeated often) but Tableau is easier to work with for visualizations, and R has better packages for certain kinds of statistics. It's like you said in the video though, any tool that can get the job done is great.

Just found out I’m overpaying for so much of free content, there are obvious advantages and disadvantages in taking this course. Therefore came do to say python looks like a must if somebody wants to progress in It world nowadays, with ML and AI emerging fast. Even to become a data Scientist which looks to double the paycheque in data jobs.

Great video Wale. Excel is used nearly everywhere, and even though it is not my preferred software tool for most jobs, it is still worth learning.
