Can’t tell you how unbelievably helpful this is. So many videos about data analytics and job explainers tend to phrase data analytics as “just doing it”. Almost like 90s and early 2000s movie hackers that type randomly in a black and green terminal to take down a massive security system. All we are told and shown about data analytics is the representation portion of it.
I have gone through many introduction videos on data analysis on RUclips but yours was the best and simplest video. Very well explained and easy to understand.
You should consider teaching at universities 👏🏼 super simple, clear, right to the point and without extra bla bla bla that we see on youtube. Appreciate your time and effort.
This is absolutely brilliant. This and your 'introduction to data analysis' video have not only been presented as fun and engaging but have gotten me invested in a subject that I previously thought of as dull and boring. Not only that but you've also shone a light on how useful these cross-disciplinary skills are to me. Thanks, I hope to learn more about this field in the near future :)
I can't believe i finally stumbled on the very REAL thing i have being seeking for a very long time. I just watched Agatha RUclips tutorial which led me to this platform. I wish i have come across this in my data analysis journey. In fact, i have downloaded ALL your tutorials to watch step by step. I can't wait to land my first data analysis role soon. Thanks
Still an undergraduate of Biochemistry, confused and thinking of what the future holds. Was searching through chrome and cane across google data analytics. I had to come to RUclips to see videos of what data analytics entails. I love the way you make your videos comprehendible. Hopefully, as i take up this journey in data analytics, i know your videos are gonna help me understand the basis as a beginner ❤❤
I used a competitor analysis strategy to grow my business, it was important for me to research what I could do to stay ahead of my competitors. I discovered competitor analysis tools, I use WASK's competitor analysis tool and I even recommend it. Competitor analysis is a good strategy in my opinion.
I'm a hyper-scrutinizer, judging things at a granular level. I also love charts and tables and have been pinning to take an excel course. But I'm a woman, and an outgoing "people person" so I don't think of myself as a tech person. However, I think I just found my career pivot out of teaching. Sign me up; kind of excited!
Between: coding, analyzing, theory, and presentation. This position really seems like you can move into a a management role or Project manager role? Seems like you wear a lot of hats.
This video is so helpful. I want to get into data analytics for my hospitality field. I love that you defined the mindset of an data analyst and the tools you need. Thanks
CareerFoundry a day or two ago, and so far the way they teach along with the tutor and mentor way is unique and brilliant :) My program for Data Analysis will start on 30th January, very excited and looking forward to achieving lots of progress in my beginner career path. I really like the way you explain and already have watched many of your tutorial videos, BIG thanks to you Will for the effort and inspiration you give to those who wanna have some changes in their life like me.
Здравствуйте, Азамат! Видела ваше видео про Канаду и надеюсь вы добились своей цели! Итак вопрос про этот буткэмп. Как я поняла Вы взяли их платный курс, как сложилось с работой?
it was a video that easily summarized the data analysis process. Define the first question in the data analysis process. Second, collect data. Third, organize the data. Fourth, analyze the data. I share the fifth result
this is absolutely brilliant video! how you make easy concept of data analyst and you cleard full concepts and road map and define every and each step!!! this is really helpful video and even non technical students can easily understand
Thank you for your video. My question is going to be about data analysis. You presented some techniques: univariate or bivariate analysis, time-series analysis and then you said that all these types of analysis can be found in the 4 types of analysis: descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and perspective. I am new to this field and I am working on a project and I have already cleaned the data and I am at the analysis stage. I have two questions that I would like to clarify: 1. At the analysis stage, do I have to apply the 4 types of analysis you presented? 2. What are the actions to be taken to do each of these 4 types of analysis? Meaning these are the technics to perform a descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and perspective analysis. If you have a video that shows how to apply each of these types please link. Thank you.
Analyzing data I think depends if your focus is precise analytics or time table analytics like market health for a week or so in connection with world events and the anticipated contractions and speculations and of course your products per clients demands. Like for example having 3d printers for various quick product creation as they filled up on the system their desired product to purchase for a survey at the next door their product is ready. Something like that.
Good video overall but I think there might be a misunderstanding in what a DMP is and whether you need one to do general data analysis. 4:53 “One thing you’ll need, regardless of industry or area of expertise, is a data management platform” - As someone whose worked in analytics in several MNCs and tech unicorns, I disagree. DMPs today aren’t tools that you use to literally manage data. Rather, they typically help to prepare and send your company data to ad exchanges or to advertisers directly. You don’t need DMPs just to put your data together… Whether you need one is indeed dependent on your industry and area of expertise.
Can I be a data Analyst even if I don't have any pre-requisite courses like Engineering or IT? My background is Nursing and Administrative Professional. :(
@@noahjaybee It does matter. It makes it much easier for entry and higher level roles of course. It doesn’t mean you can’t get into a role without a degree, however.
Hi there, can you suggest me a video of a data analysis process example start for defining the right problem and questions, prepare and collect data ( examples of forms, ways to collect data) then cleaning formatting data and analyse it, creating a well organized presentation to share with stakeholder.
i am planning to get a macbook but second hand. do you think a macbook pro 16 inch 8 core intel I9 2.3 Ghz with 64 GB Ram will be good for using those softwares and work later on as a data analyst. Thank you
Great video with really useful information. The only thing that seemed odd to me was that you didn’t mention Microsoft Power BI, being the leading software for data visualization in the world!!!! Come on!!
Pls, I'm a postgraduate student of business administration, I need your advice on the type of websites to follow in order to obtain relevant questinares and articles for my research. Thank you, in anticipation of your kind response.
The steps provided are pretty much standard boilerplate "how-to-do analytics." They have the benefit of being part of the common analytics paradigm. However, being part of the paradigm, they get the process pretty much completely wrong. For starters, the question: "why are we losing customers" is a poor choice, particularly in a basic of analytics orientation; this question is pretty much open-ended and ultimately unable to be completely answered - there's simply no way to completely identify, enumerate, and evaluate all of the factors involved in customers being lost. It even begs the question: what does it mean to "lose" a customer? The even bigger problem with this framing is that analyzing data is deferred until step four. This is complete and utter foolishness. Data analysis is, and must always be, the first step in any data analysis effort. It's impossible to understand anything without analyzing the data, even whether or not the data is relevant to one's concern.
Not actually manipulating them but you have to have something in your company that can attract them like company offerings such as offering them the benefits of working with your company by some products patronage as the idea but not stating to them first as they grab the nectar they propagate the seeds, instead of buy a high ticket item or two and you will have these extra gadget thing for example reverse the idea but dont give the product yet, like create some attractive conditions such as business membership or something or to much better be a business partner.
