In other words, a data scientist has all the skills of a data analyst but not as specialized, but a data analyst cannot perform all the tasks of a data scientist.
This was incredibly helpful. While I'm still insecure, whether getting into IT is a conquerable task for me at all, I do know now, that my direction would clearly be Data Analytics, since it suits my personality much better than Data Science. Thank you for the intriguing insight.
So eye opening. Can you establish difference between data science and big data science. I'm bit confused as there is Master's in science degree in big data science can you ventilate the relevance of this degree and it's difference with Master's in science degree in data science. Thanks
Which one would you suggest me between Data Analytics and Business Analytics, difference between these two and about the salary package of a beginner in USA
Would you say that a Data Scientist is better suited for financial markets, especially using large amounts of historical stock, bond, and options data?
I'm about to turn 32 years old. I've always been good with computers, though the little programming and math skills I once had are gone, so I would rather start over with newer software and tools. Could anybody kindly tell me if I stand a chance in the data analytics world regardless of my age? My logic is that I should take a couple of relatively short courses (or whatever they call them) for like 2 or 3 years, and try my luck. I have trust in me and I know I can manage to get to a decent level in such field, but I really don't know if age and schooling play a big role in getting hired and payed well. I have a couple of friends who managed to get decent jobs without getting a degree; they just learned the required skillset and got connected to jobs through networking.
You made understanding these concepts easy, I've been struggling with this for a long time now.
Thanks alot
