      Thank u sir. Am thinking of a career change. My current job involves alot of standing and walking about and done it for 15years. I want to get a desktop job and the first skill I see thats needed mostly is excel so am teaching my self before I take the actual course for certification.       Yes, I am 60 and have only ever physical data entried medical information into programs already in existence. But other than that, and creating my own columns to add in my own medical solution, I don't know enough about what it can do.I don't know, what I know or not! Lol. So this course sounds like it's a great start...Thankyou!

      @@AustinIC Hi thank you for your reply. Yes, sadly you are right. Some people can be very childish. The 2 people in question here are managers. It is very clear to me that they are in the wrong position.
      Anyway, what is important is that I now have the knowledge.
      By the way I am taking the company to a tribunal, sadly things just got worse, I had no choice in the matter. I have a very very strong case.

    I was watching a co-worker's screen as he used Excel and, while I never thought of myself as an expert, I never realized how out of my element I was. He was doing things I never even dreamed Excel could do! I decided I needed to start from scratch to make sure I wasn't missing anything basic, and this video is incredible.       If you don’t mind me asking, what type of job did you go for that required you to take a test at the interview? Also, did you have any excel knowledge prior to applying for the position or did you learn all the basics needed by watching this course?

    Thanks so much for your illustration, Ive always been afraid of excel, but when I lost a job that paid $60,000 that was my awakening moment to learn excel. Ive been offered a job that pays $88,000 a year and I'm going to stay on top of excel for life. Nice video 😊

    I am an Excel expert, but a coworker has a son who knows nothing about Excel. This is the best tutorial for a brand new user!
    I went through many and they immediately go into formulas without explaining what you are viewing in a worksheet with the Tabs, Ribbon and Quick Access toolbar. This is perfect! Thank you!

    I recently started a new job where I'l have to use excel much more than in previous jobs. I was worried about being in over my head until I discovered this video. Now I'm realizing that I don't have to fear excel. You've boosted my confidence and increased my knowledge. The way you explain everything is so easy to follow. I was gonna try and find private tutor or take some excel classes, but I'm so glad that I decided to try YT first!

    I had a great job analyzing medical information for 34 years....never needed Excel and when AI took our jobs away, even entry level jobs required proficiency in Office and particularly Excel. I took a few hour course at the local community college, which was worthless. I started your beginner course and it is so easy compared to that. Thank you so much!

    Wow! At 43 years old, I've watched numerous Excel tutorials and bought multiple courses, but I must say, this free video takes the cake! It's hands down the best Excel tutorial I've ever come across. My only dilemma now is, how do I keep progressing from here? I'm eagerly awaiting a follow-up video to continue my Excel development.     Very good teaching style -- clear and concise. I used Excel a lot in the previous century, but that was over 20 years ago, and I'm 78 now, so I found I've forgotten a lot. This is a great refresher. (BTW, the first spreadsheet I used was Visicalc, in the 70s)

      Many sellers and tools can activate Office. I tried various sources, including eBay, but they stopped working after a few months. I had to reinstall my OS due to malware so I stopped using free options. After thorough research I found a reliable company with fair prices and haven't had any issues since.

    I've used Excel for years and thought I knew all the basics. After watching this video, I learned quite a few things that I didn't know. Since my job involves heavy usage of Excel, this video was very helpful and I will definitely be viewing your other videos to expand my knowledge.     I've used Excel for years, but nothing very complicated. I just switched to the Microsoft 365 and the newest version of Excel and when I saw it, I was overwhelmed. It just seemed so different to me, and I thought maybe I need to go back to the beginning and watch a tutorial. I loved your video, you didn't jump in to complicated things and you were using the newest version of Excel! Even though I knew most of what was in it, there were many things that I never knew how to do in the old version and some great new features. I will be moving on to your intermediate class!

    Im 38 and i forgot to use excel since i am working for longer years in sales and focusing on customer service alone, and seldom using computer. Thank you Sir for this detailed turorial, its easy to understand even if i watched it once only. Now my knowledge in excel slowly getting back and i need to watch it over and over so i will learn a lot.👍👌

    Wow, I've been doing an online course for 3 weeks now, and really struggling with the explanations, the visuals, the content, and the instructors wording yet I've just learnt more in my first 20 minutes that the whole previous 3 weeks!     I can not express how happy I am to have watched this. I have never used this and needed to do a quick task with excel and while watching your video I got done pretty fast and was able to re-do it again without watching it. You are a great teacher thank you

    You are the first person to be able to help me understand excel. I thought I was just stupid but I just needed it explained clearly and a visual. The formulas were so hard for me before. I have an interview coming up where I’ll need to know Microsoft and I feel much more confident. Thank you. I’ll watch more of these.

    You are such an effective educator. Love your videos. I'd click the alert bell but, unfortunately, that means YT sends alerts for every single thing under the sun. There's no ability to just get notifications for only the channels you want. It's always been a peeve but I'm pretty sure it's just the way YT wants it.

    I didn’t lie on my resume,, but I definitely made it seem like I was Excel proficient,,
    I have used excel but every job had formulas and everything for me, I literally just added in data and learned what the job needed with repetition,,
    So after college in 2011 it’s never been an issue,, NOW it is 😢😮THANKS FOR THIS 🎉❤
