I was a decent Excel user 25 years ago, but haven't used it since, and I'm 78 now. Guess I'll learn how much its changed as I refresh my skills. I use mostly my snartphone and tablet these days, but I'm dragging out my laptop for this, as I'm finding using Excel on a phone or tablet is challenging. Thanks for your clear and pleasant teaching style. (Incidentally, I used Visicalc, the grandaddy of spreadsheet software, in the 70s. Wonder what happened to it.)
@@techteachersandstudents Thanks Man! Have no clue how to reach out to you. But wanted to say your videos on Excel are amazing. There are many courses online, but your course really teaches us like kids. I didn't expect the course to be excellent. I liked the way you teach. Wish my teachers in computer classes were even half as good as you. I wouldn't need to be here. Thanks.
Thank you for the beginner and intermediate courses. I’m the secretary for my ministry for 65 and older members. We are selling t-shirts for our group and I’m responsible for tracking the sells. My numbers of how many sold, the money collected, etc. are right on track. Because of you I think I’m doing a great job. Keep up the great videos.
Thank you very much for uploading this marvelous video. I am currently working for an international company, and your classes have been so useful for me. Once more, thank you very much. God bless you!
Please can i ask you Now in this channel there are many videos about Excel and I want to start learn it i found a video of beginners and this for intermediate But i want to know how can I be advanced sould I watch all the other short videos because there are many of them and thank you
Hey, I am from finance background so just want to know what else skills you have acquired till now as I am part of croporate and doest want to stick with old job, would be appreciable for ur revert
Thankyou very much for these two videos, the beginner level and the intermediate level ones. Though i am looking for the advanced level video but cant seem to find it, its probably not made yet, if so, when is it expected to come out?
About to start a new job I haven't used Excel much at all this is very helpful I don't seem to be able to get full screen so a bit hard to see it all on my tablet. Also how do I access the word and PowerPoint courses please ? You explain everything ery well. I would like to watch these a few times and do some practice. Thankyou
Here's the link for the PowerPoint course: ruclips.net/video/KqgyvGxISxk/видео.html And the link for the Word course: ruclips.net/video/2MCmnr2L50o/видео.html
I found these video so entertaining and educational. Thank you so much, you have made my life so much easier. I have a couple of questions if I may. When I type a number and I want to drag that number all the way down to repet in the tabs below, the number changes in the succession. For example: if I want to type the same number ie. 5 in the 4 tabs below, it shows as 6;7;8 etc. How do I make it stay at 5? I am not sure if I haven't been clear.
Thanks for your kind words. What you could do I type 5 in one cell and 5 in the cell immediately below it. Then click and drag to select both cells that have a 5 in them. Then click on the little fill handle in the lower right corner of the selected area and drag down.
Do you by chance have the data you use for the Intermediate training in a separate file? I'm walking a group through training and we only have the data for Beginner Training. PS your videos are so great, easy to follow and very relevant
I was going to take a STAT test for Graduate school relative to public policy, and it requires a scientific calculator. Now, this is a little off-topic as this is Excel. However, I was wondering if there are any good tips for this tool I need to use? I like your lessons and thought it is best to ask a person who does good presentations rather than search the WWW for something. I also was wondering about statistics and using Excel. I saw your use of averages, but what else is there for using excel in the analysis of budgets or programs?
Hi! Thank you for your video's. They are very helpful. I would like to create simple templates in Excel en sell them as templates on a website or Etsy for my customers. Can you explain how you can publish / share a template so that it can be used over and over again by multiple people? Or do you have a video about that?
Please Please do a video explaining the following and I hope you will understand what I am asking: I downloaded from the internet a free budget spreadsheet. However, I noticed something so very interesting. Though when looking at the spreadsheet it looked like one single sheet it turned out that when I looked at the "name" section the spreadsheet was actually made up of multiple tables and on top of that some formulas created used the @ sign. I am going to try to paste an image here. I am hoping so much you can do a tutorial on how to make a budget spreadsheet out of individual tables and connect them for calculations I can't upload an image to explain it as I just tried to paste in here but can't. I hope to hear from you.
18:53 its not coming for me When i try Name: MWF Refers to : = {"Monday","Wednesday","Friday"} When i click on cell type = MWF it showing me only Monday...Why?
Nice video but you left out how you put the windows side by side, well it was not completely clear how you did it for the opening up the same workbook in more than one window ?
