I will absolutely be adding this product to my store. I thought Shine On only did jewelry, so I dismissed them because that is not something I'm interested in selling at this time. I will be signing up with them now. My store is cat-themed, so I will be adding more cat blankets to the world for people to snuggle in. Thank you for sharing this great content.
Shipping to Australia may be prohibitive but a good product at a higher price point. Will have a look in Oz for equiv supplier. Thnx as always for inspiration n guidance.
I've opened up my shopify store, downloaded shine on, but after I tried to create the blanket (I wanted to try the personalized photo - as shown in video) the mockups that shine on created looked horrible. I know you said not to use those mockups but I'm afraid i'm not choosing a good photo for the blankets. I don't want to create great mockups and the blankets look like the mockup shineon showed. Should I just create it, order a sample, then decide? I chose a high resolution photo and made it bigger in Kittl then added the design to shineon. Am I doing this correctly? I don't want to order a sample and I didn't even upload it correctly.
Hey Joe! Great vid! What company does this product and would you happen to know if they can integrate with a shopify store? I wouldn't mind getting this product in my niche!
I would be nice to run Meta ads, if they let you do it. I tried to create an ad account on Facebook and before i even start i saw a message saying that i violate the terms of service and that it has been canceled before it was even created. It seems on Facebook you violate things just by even existing...
@@RealJoeRobert My FB account was created in 2008. So it's anything but new. What's new, is my shop's page. I followed your steps on your free course on your website to set everything up, but i got stuck when i was about to create the ad account. At least i created a page for my store on Meta, so both FB and IG and i post my products using hashtags, to at least have some organic traffic, but it's minimal. Almost non existent. From what i've read online, FB uses bots to decide if an account violates any terms of service, so i sent them a message via ticket, they (supposedly) had a human this time to check my account but they gave me the exact same answer. Meta does not have a live chat support, so i'm not going to even bother with that anymore. I will rely on organic traffic if i eventually have any. Thanks for the free course by the way, Joe.
I don't see where 'mockups' would work with these woven products. You'd have to purchase one of each design and photograph/video it yourself to truly show what it looks like. But, could always use them for giveaways or something.
Have you taken a look at the mock ups available from the suppliers? They are quite nice and show the details. Not sure why you need to order each one and photograph it to be honest.
Hey I could really use your advice on something - would it be possible to create a brand focused around a fandom without actually infringing on copyright? For example if it was Star Wars, have lots space and planet themed shirts and sayings like “No Bad Feelings” or “This Princess carries a gun” and maybe a separate shirt with a graphic of a bunch of fuzz balls laughing (for the line “laugh it up, Fuzzball”)? Because none of those things are technically copyrighted but it would be obvious what I was copying so would I get in trouble for that? Also if I had a youtube channel that made star wars edits and then used that channel to promote my products it would be even easier to accuse me of using their story to sell my stuff, but technically it’s still my designs and I didn’t explicitly copy or steal anything so would it be okay? Thanks for your time, and I look forward to hearing what you think!
@@RealJoeRobert Thanks 😉 What would you say is the line between making something inspired by a show and actually infringing on it? (I mean obviously direct quotes and images would be out of the question, but what about using sayings that are an obvious nod to the original one like the “No Bad Feelings” for the “I’ve got a bad feeling about this” quote? Do you think that would be okay?
@@RealJoeRobert Thank you for sharing this. I’m used to WordPress and very unfamiliar with Shopify. Do you use plugins for functions like collecting email addresses and abandoned cart retargeting, etc? Do you cover these topics in a paid course?

Joe, appreciate it all! Newbie here with shiny object syndrome. LOL. You Rock!
Thank you for watching 🙏
Thanks for making this video! By the way, do you have any recommendations for POD companies that offer quilt blanket?
Good Job Cowboy Joe! Thanx for sharing. You Rock!

Cool 😎
where can this product be sourced from
@nomsonwaehie226 did you watch the video I showed the supplier 😉
Excellent, this fits in with my shop's ethos 👍
Great to hear!
@@RealJoeRobert I think at those sorts of prices, personalisation would be expected...
Great video and amazing shops! The mock ups are very clean! Thanks for this video!

Love this. Thanks, Joe. Will be getting these into my niche as soon as I finish transferring from Etsy to Shopify. Again, thanks.

Did you watch the video? I showed the supplier and yes it integrates with Shopify or else I wouldn’t show it… Shopify is what my channel is about. 😊
Good points. Thank you!!!
You are so welcome!
I could add this to my store. Thanks for the video

Sounds like they thought your account was fake since it was brand new and you tried running ads If all of your account settings weren’t set up

Thank you for posting! I would be interested to see how you start your TikTok shop. That is something I will be venturing out to try soon.
By now ticktock shop only usa sellers .
Thank you for the information and great ideas!
Glad it was helpful!
I don't actually like the product, but congrats to the store
It’s not for everyone. Thanks for watching
Now everyone gonna be selling this damn product 😂😂😂
Lol
No they aren’t. 99% of people are too lazy to take actions
This video has 10k views.. hurry quick. And make your money... might get the tail end sales on this...
I thought about making the site just from the thumbnail lmao
Most people won't do the work... will I?
Love it! ❤ Thanks again for the inspiration Joe!
You are so welcome!
There are two different types of throws being sold. The design isn't printed on the expensive ones. It is woven in with colored yarn.
Not sure I understand your comment based on the video and what I showed
@@RealJoeRobert There is a woven blanket sold through POD in which the design is woven in rather than printed. Buyers might confuse the two.
yes, I noticed that as well. The woven blankets available in 3 sizes are from Gooten, the images are loom woven with yarn, rather than printed.
Thank you, Joe!
My pleasure!
Any provider with other sizes?
No, these sizes are fine what were you looking for?
@@RealJoeRobertOnly 1 size available in ShineOn
Isn't Shine On a China based company? One of the stores said 'made in the USA' - is there a factory here?
Yes they ship from usa
I have had shine on for over a year, I have never seen this product before. I just looked and I still don't see it.
Weird. I see it and showed it in the video. Sure you’re in the right spot?
i don't see it either
@@mosheshoshan2618 it's in the interior decor section
Me either
I found it quite easily.

I’ve seen people make merch that is legal but doesn’t infringe on trademarks and copyrights you just obviously want to tread super carefully

They don’t have factories in Africa if that’s what you mean.

for sure

Is this still profitable right now?
