    Joe's critiques of stores and designs can be very direct, no "sugar coating" haha, but it's good advice ultimately!

    In fashion trends there is now an ongoing and severe backlash against wearing logos for even big name fashions like Gucci. So why would anyone wear some nobody brand's name or logo all over them? Unless you're actually going for that satirical Idiocracy documentary movie look...

    I think that it is all about design, because the only reason a customer will spends xxx dollars for something is just the DESIGN - pattern, graphic, slogan, fabric and so on! The only thing a seller must do is to catch customer's imagination... and this means that you can sell a shit, but if you know how to represent what you're selling and project a picture into customer's mind, you gonna make a sell on and on to many people, even if nobody knows you as a brand! If you don't sell something its just because YOUR DESIGNS SUCK! I see so many brands, but very few impress with something cool and unique, and that's too bad, because so many people "create" ugly and lame "designs"... and these guys call themselves designers... oh boy! 😉

    For branded items, you must have a brand following first.

    When you do PoD, whena customer made an order should you be paying from your own money for every production cost e.g. Printify or the customer? How does it work? Could you do PoD with virtually no money other than your design skills?

    • @kpopper4839
      @kpopper4839 Месяц назад +2

      Generally, when a customer makes an order, you would have to foot the cost of it. When the item is then shipped out, you would be paid for it. The difference between the order and what you paid will be your take home pay. Hope this helps you get started! Been doing lots of research and just getting into it as well.

    so my niche idea is to sell memecoin products, like mugs, shirts, hats, etc all from succcesful memecoin characters, but i know we succeed in POD by utilizing facebook ads. my fear is that the memecoin lovers and community doesnt really use facebook, how do i fact check this? and if my hunch is right, should i scrap the idea?

    What's wrong with funny, sarcastic, humorous designs for a Tshirt store? I thought that was a niche in itself. At least that's what I'm hoping for my store.

    • @RealJoeRobert
      @RealJoeRobert  2 месяца назад +2

      The vast majority people struggle to get sales doing that. I think because like I said in the video when you’re marketing that’s the sort of thing people don’t get super excited about to buy on an impulse. They click “the like button” but don’t buy it

    • @Paul-yk7ds
      @Paul-yk7ds 2 месяца назад +1

      If you want to do funny and sarcastic designs for your store, just focus in on a specific niche with it. Make funny designs all about the same niche. For example, funny designs for vegans, or funny designs for Republicans, funny designs for Christians, funny designs for nurses or teachers, etc. The people in those niches will have more passion about those specific funny designs and identify with them more.

      @@Paul-yk7ds would the same concept apply if I have collections within the store, like a collection for pet lovers, a collection for careers, etc. I mean a whole store for a single career or topic seems hard to do.

    • @RealJoeRobert
      @RealJoeRobert  2 месяца назад

      Don’t do that, that would make for a very random store/brand

      @@RealJoeRobert No I have a niche store with AOP designs. I'm just wondering if it is OK to add some Tees with humorous quotes. I know it's been beat to death but I think it would add value.
