    Thank you!! Just needed a very simple bag strap and kept finding thermal stitch tutorials, far too advanced for me. This was easy to follow and makes me feel like I can actually crochet again lol!

    This reminds me of the cord I use to make with an empty wooden spool. Thank you!

      I found this ruclips.net/video/qBX-GWVn5ws/видео.htmlsi=wblWpjwhLJZk5ERS
      It helps see better, but it doesn't show how to make it without the clip like this one does.

      Hello! I saw this comment whilst learning this and I am doing the second strap of this kind.
      I don’t know if this will help, but I have noticed that the first chain after I’ve dropped the 2 loops is the most important one because it needs to be done slowly. I stretch the last stitch before I drop them to ensure they don’t come undone (this makes the chain a bit looser on the side, but it looks nice once done). Holding both the thread and the loops helps a little but makes the first slip stitch a bit harder to do. I limit the movements in that 1st slst as well, trying not to use the passive motor memory that would drag the thread instinctively.
      This is my little experience, hopefully this is useful.

    It is like tunisian crochet without doing the return pass. Work each knit stitch individually, interesting. I am looking forward to trying this out.

    • @user-xx6mp7sx8z
      @user-xx6mp7sx8z Год назад

      No it's crochet. Knitting is different. I mean the tools are different in crochet we use this hooked tool that comes in various sizes according to yarn thickness and in knitting you use those two tools with which you knit the fabric. You can search up more to find more details

      You can knit this cord using 2 DPNs. It's easier and faster to work with and up the cord.

      Yeah, that looks basically like knitting, but you need to use double pointed needles, because you want to work it in circles
