Reminds me of those wire chords we’d make ad children to use as keyrings, we used to call them scooby doos
I've now done this cord doubling the yarn to make it thicker, so easy and effective thanks again for the tutorial x
I use this as my foundation row instead of chains and then single crochets - its really easy and neat.

I usually just make a chain, turn, and slipstitch into the back of each chain. Looks quite similar and works wonderfully for washcloths etc. ;)

Yes you can use 2 skeins of yarn.. or use the beginning & end of a yarn skein.
