I've watched several tutorials on how to crochet this spiral cord, and for me yours is the easiest to follow as you show the position of the stitch to pick up relative to surrounding stitches. I can do this now even using a 4 ply cotton. That's how good you are at explaining the steps. Thank you so much!

I'm left handed and to learn I sat in front of my mom when I was 5yo, mirroring her in my mind. So, when I finally convinced her of giving me a hook and some yarn, I ended up crocheting with the front to the back. So... I was trying to do this cord and finding it reeaaaally hard to find the third bar. Yeah, took me a bit to remember that my back is in the front. On the bright side, it is a lot faster when crocheting from the outside instead of the inside, the bar kinda pops out. Thanks for sharing this tutorial.
Oh well I have use macrame for this video and larger hook to explain which thread to pic dear... once learn on thick yarn which loop to take then you can make it on any 4ply 3ply yarn u want to use 😊Thank u Dear for comment
I personally would suggest this. She started with 8 foundation, 10 sc into the circle. 8/10. So if you want to try smaller go whatever foundation you use add +2 into center. Example: 6/8, 5/7, or 4/6. It should work. Good Luck 🙂
I'm having trouble with putting the hook into the look. It just slides by. Its taking so long to force it into the loop. And no, i'm not making it tight 😭
Im not seeing what bar you are describing. Theres is the single crochet facing inward then the bar on top. The only other bars i see are the actual single crochets from the row before. Someone anyone help PLEASEEEEEEEE!?????
Its spiral when you are done with your desire length fasten off any stitch... I do that at the end fasten off any stitch after i am happy with length ☺️
