I made this. I was having so much fun that I crocheted 127" long and that's when I finally stop. I didn't know how to stop and didn't plan to make something out of it. I just kept on going until I realized I had to stop. LOL The finishing touch I did was to continue (at the point where I stop crocheting at the end of 127", I continue to crochet the finishing edge on the other side (following the instruction) and back down to the beginning of the crochet. It looked really nice. I'll be seeing my young niece soon and plan to give this to her. I crocheted 14 clusters of one color, then the next 14 clusters changed to a different color, on and on until I reach 127" long with a navy color for the finished edge. I wished I know how to print a picture here for you to see. It's really pretty and I plan to make another soon. Maybe on the plane 5 hours ride to the West Coast, non stop. I'll find out if this airline will permit me to board my crochet with my mini scissor, and my color 100% cotton yarns. (not the thick kind) These yarns are wonderful to be worked on. Maybe it's called 24/7?

I gave this a try and its really pretty, but for the bag i'm trying to make, my yarn doesn't seem strong enough, or maybe i need to add more tension and a stronger outer rim for support, but i like this as a pretty accent, i appreciate the easy tutorial :) thank you!!
