SUPER GT videos are usually 20-30 minutes long but they don't feel that long as they are very fun to watch. I usually can't watch any video above 15 minutes (I lose interest after 15 minutes), but I can easily watch even a 40 minute SUPER GT video. Nice going, Steve Albon (Yeah, we know who you are)
Just watching your videos makes me a better driver, when it comes to strategy and using the entire track, from D to B ranting in one week. Thank you so much for the content. From USA CA.
Best way to make positions around here is put pressure on the guy in front till he makes a mistake or goes to the shadow realm, druids is one of the best overtaking spots I’ve seen, guess I need to start doing dailies again and get out of the B lobbie and into the A or A+ lobbies, B lobbies are full of carnage
Even the A lobbies are full of dirty drivers. Having another account is good for having fun on tracks with combos like this without getting aggrivated by the divebombers.
@@Sean_Farmer Agreed. Not a lot of people know how to send it properly like how SuperGT was doing it here. They send it from 2-3 car lengths back. Honestly haven’t gotten on GT Sport in about 2 months.

@@lomicwind Good suggestion, but I don't have $190 spare atm to buy a PS4 even if it's an excellent deal. So will have to stick with Xbox or older PC racing games for now.
Just recently started watching your videos but it's really reignited my love for racing games. I'm on Forza 7 so it can be a ram fest but as long as you can break away from the back you're normally safe and have some fun racing.

Went recently to see GT World Challenge, so much action. the issue of overtaking is with the sporting regulation. In my case SRO have a perfect BPO, so the cars are pretty equal and not that dependent on aero when following closely. Its important to remember this, DTM is much more sensitive to its aero, its DTM cars that cannot overtake on this track
Overtaking IS possible if you actually no know how to handle yourself around the opponents and even the track. I’ve raced so many times here starting in 12+ normally yet I still finish in the Top 5. Trick is, if you know the track, you’ll know where to overtake. i play the fishing game alot. I will sit back and watch the 3 cars in fromt of me. The Turns after the long straight in the middle is normally where you can really take advantage and overtake. Also the first turn too. No bumping required either. Some drivers will make mistakes in those spots, and that’s when you snake through them. Or those spots, is where you can out smart them.
@@bobmarly555 Agree there on the DTM. I normally always start from the 10th or back. On purpose lol. I'm a Chaser so I love to Overtake cars more than sitting in the front. Makes it more fun. The Corners at the Turns of Graham Hill & Surtees before the Straight Away are normally where I overtake Cars. Sometimes 2 in one sitting. Racers tend to make mistakes on the first Turn and at Stirling's. You can also if your get a good draft over pass along the Straight on Pilgrim's Drop. The McLaren leader of the race was taken out on the back side of the track when him and 2nd place were lapping slower traffic 2 weeks ago. Gt world challenge I think is the channel
Steve / Alex's track guide - Turn 1, Stirling's, right hander, downhill. Turn 2, Stirling's, right hairpin. Turn 3, Stirling's, fast left hander onto a short straight... Etc.

I have needed for Super GT to try out the RX Vision GT3 in daily races for a long time and get his thoughts on how to drive the car right. I've only won a couple races with it and always see Astons pulling away and have a lot of trouble spinning that car out but it's my favorite.

Last time i had such clean races was the rain-race on the RED BULL Ring EDIT: I wrote the comment right after I heard him say DTM was still kind of Super GT. Great race as usual :)
By starting last, you started behind cars at least 1s to 2s slower than you. It helps a lot to overtake as most of the time gap is created in the braking zone. Most of overtakings are due to a mistake first putting the cars ahead in position to be overtaken. If you want to make point, you have to do the best qualifying lap possible, you will start the race surrounded by people as fast as you and if they are as regulate as you and don't make mistake, you couldn't overtake. As you saw, when it's real professionnals behind the wheel with real cars, no mistake have been made and no overtake happened.
I’m only in ranking B. My strategy on this track is actually letting the “edge-cutting” drivers overtake me on the first lap and follow them closely with calmness and precision. Eventually, if they are faster than me, we all save time on our laps instead of risking our podium over 1 position. If I’m faster, I have no pressure following them for 7 or 10 laps and they can’t afford even 1 mistake. Btw it can also be fun to watch a big fight from behind and see the top 3 sending each other to our old friend Barry(er) 😂
Agreed, DTM doesn't have much overtaking here they are too fast for the track. Watch BTCC instead. Brands needs to be attacked and you need to get your elbows out which DTM doesn't because of all their little aero tweaks they can't afford to damage.
Super GT, did you watch the DTM in 2019? If so, it was the same meeting that the Mini Seven Racing Club were at, and we had plenty of overtaking opportunities (granted we’re a little slower😬)
