between 15 and 30 are my favourite to watch. The hour long or more i prefer for bedtime, so i dont have to click next vid several times before falling asleep 😅
When Steve was narrating and saying "but unfortunately I did something very silly coming through this left hander final lap this is were my race unravelled" I was like oh f*ck what did you do Steve?! 😆new nickname for Steve: Super GTroller lmao.
I watch these videos so so intently but obv quietly, but i SWEAR when he said that i made a face so scared because i thought i was gonna see something mortifying ☠️ an absolute race failure
Again, I love the endurance racing lately! The strategy makes the races twice as interesting. What is the best length for an endurance race in your opinion?
@@Super_GT Totally agree mate. Anything over an hour or 90 minutes for me I lose all energy and concentration, 45-60 minute races is a very nice sweet spot for sure.
Yeah man, I'm normally average at qualifying so it's a pleasant surprise when I get a pole. I know just how valuable it is with helping the end result of the race too!
There is nothing better than a comeback. And you can't have a comeback without first falling behind. While most people get frustrated when they get knocked back, I genuinely get excited at the opportunity for an epic comeback. Never quit, reel them in and MAKE them know you're coming.
Great Race ! Too many errors on my side to hope to resist at the end, starting with my first lap penalty. Congratulations to you who, despite forgetting about the balance of the brakes, managed tire wear to obtain this great victory.
My exams are in 2 weeks why am I so religiously watching a man drive a virtual car making myself so stressed about his strategies when my academic strategies are failing? It is what it is
These longer races are great because tactics come into it as well. Edit. Your tyre management has gotten so much better over the years (no disrespect intended) that was hell of a drive
Absolutely nailed it. As Damon said, if you finish way out in front, you have punished the car, if you finish close, you have cared for the car. Great race, Steve. You earned that.
It’s so refreshing to see someone on youtube who is actually decent at racing. So many who post gameplay of GT or Forza or whatever are hot garbage, and they want the world to see! Awesome race, man.
this is probably the best virtual racing video ive ever seen i was on the edge of my seat last couple of laps and when you did the little prank on the last round my heart stopped
The suspense all thru the second race was great. Really liking this new format and that you're always finding ways to improve your videos. Eagerly awaiting the return of your live streams. Fantastic as always Steve!
Man the content has been getting better, the new setup is nice, and what they're doing with these endurance races is amazing. Really really entertaining to watch the strategies unfold. That paired with some genuinely impressive racing just makes for a banger.
I enjoy this longer races way more. It gives the people race a chance of somewhat recovering from mistakes, instead of having their entire race ruined by a spin or a crash.
That last overtake around the hairpin, i actually clapped! Fantastic race. Commiserations to stefounzy just getting pipped to the line for 2nd by what, 1 tenth of a second?! Was totally rooting for that alt car choice. Chapeau!
Congrats on the win! Can I just say the end of that first race was such class. There could've easily been more of a nudge and forced a pass but you gave space and the position back and patiently waited for the last corner. So good mate, get in there. Miracles do happen. 😂
Great to watch Steve! Loving these longer content vids! Appreciate the efforts! I really enjoyed this round and was proud that I was lapping the same as the front runners like yourself finally and improving each week which is rewarding for me.
Respect to the Lexus driver. Not only using a different brand compare to everyone, but also driving the older 2008 GT500 while everyone was using the modern 2016 GT500. That was an awesome race SuperGT!
I watch your videos because I don't have a PS5, and Gran Turismo is one of my favorite games of all time. Definitely my top 3 racing games, sadly I'm on PC and they don't have it on there. Keep it going, this content is very descriptive and immersive.
You tricky bastard. I thought for sure you we're going wide or slipping up and catching a penalty at the end with your front left tire already dead of death. Awesome race!
OHHH YESSS!!! Get in there Steve!!! What a phenomenal display, you've been improving so much! And I know everybody knows this but your consistency is top notch! Tidgney with the weird two stop strat tho
You really got me with that final fake out 😅 I was so invested & worried when you said the race went bad at the very end, I could see the spin out in my head & was about to get so sad lol. Good race 🙏
Don’t be afraid of racing online. Everybody gets punted, and everyone has accidentally punted just qualify and race as clean and fast as you can. Have fun… it’s also good to try the races that involve strategy. You will learn the most with them and also realize that it’s not a huge deal.
I was in the GT-R in the first race! I was hot on Tidgney's tail when I spun on the exit of T1 like you. The GT-R felt more consistent in my hands so I chose it over the NSX. It proved most competitive compared to the other cars, 2nd only to the NSX. Better top speed, better brakes, better traction in the slower corners, it only really struggled in the mid section where it lost a lot of time, but it added a bit of variety to the race and I'm glad it worked out. A pleasure to race with you and Tidgney! Shame about the bad luck in your first race, I got punted on the first lap too but managed to fight my way back up the grid, really really fun race!
Unreal! I was on the edge of my seat there! That fake "oh no what did he do?" moment at the end😅. Brilliant mate. Top 15 in UK is really something but honestly your number 1 for many of us watching mate. The entertainment value alone is worth a few extra places up the grind nawmsayn? Haha
Very unfortunate with you getting caught up in incidents and mistakes, you would be right up in the mix with me & Tidgney for the win. Throughout the race I was pushing like mad to maintain consistency 'cause I know how fast you are and anticipating the charging soft runners but hopefully we would battle out in the next Nations Cup race. GGs for the race.
I think I found the NSX was the fastest car at Fuji in that daily race from a few weeks ago. Just seemed to handle the 2nd and 3rd sector better. Easier to control rotation with the throttle and brake than any other Gr3 car which is absolutely crucial at Fuji
Hi Steve. Are there any more challenges you can showcase? The fuel saving challenge you did with the pickup a while back was not only engaging, but kept me at the edge of my seat
I really like your ability to take a really, really crappy situation and turn it into a good one. You got bumped back horribly twice, but you managed to still turn it into a higher position than you started. I guess you could look at that and go "well, if there weren't any incidents, I could be podium". Sure, but that's for next time :)

That traffic that goes into the pits is what I was stuck in 😂. Superb effort mate, was good to race with you again, loved the scene near the end 💛
Saw u pit wayyy early... I think it was to avoid traffic right??? Just to try and get some clear air, and maybe set some fast laps...

This combo was gold. It produced some good intense racing
25:14 I saw this race on Tidgney's stream. You can't fool me.

When a "random" race in Gran Turismo 7 is more exciting and has more quality than a real F1 race nowadays that speaks volumes.
Watching long races and then following you build your driver rating is a really cool experience
