Man, this is so refreshing and respectful, back in group C it is just bump a cars from start to finish. It usually goes, 8th to 3rd by half way on lap one and then get absolutely nailed at at the hairpin and start looking for reverse.
If I were in these high split races where previous world champions and current ones sometimes race on, I would not be able to keep myself composed. Someone of that high skill level would make me crack and force me to make a mistake because of their pure existence.
Steve, superb return to GT form! You really put the work in and it paid off. Would love to see you jump into one of Kie's elimination lobbies one of these days, there are good racers and interesting combos with weather etc. He's had some pretty stacked lobbies recently so you would be in good company!

I’m only a level driver and did this ace yesterday. My strategy for the tyres is going in the pits at lap 7-8 so a little over half , and dor the hairpin I prefer to brake earlier and take the inside really really slow and I noticed most players going wide so I gained a few positions everytime, started around 12-14 th and ended 5th, great track, used the gt-r nismo .
Hey superGT long time viewer first time commenter here, after watching you for for years on RUclips I purchased GT sport(I’m strictly and Arcade race lover) and I learned how to race clean on controller.. then last week I purchased my first starter wheel on sale(had to scratch that itch after watching you for almost half a decade), and only today I managed to put up my first clean win against the AI. All thanks to you, and your tips, even though I was just a casual racer and viewer. Also I’m so happy to see you in a real race car, all the best for your racing career as well. Can’t wait to watch that race highlights commentary from the racer himself😁

That hairpin is a bogey corner for me too. the complex before that straight though, I always seem to make some gains there, if not in position, definitely time.
i started playing gt7 last saturday. love the game as soon as i was able to play online i jumped right in and its been alot of fun im going to level up so i race with the quick ones! ive been using the nsx on this track

Strategy Question: As changing tires is not a requirement, and it looks like you could avoid refueling, could you leave the pit stop until the final lap and just do a drive through? Somewhat like Michael Schumacher at the '98 British GP. You would enter the pit lane, auto drive and the animation would kick in but you wouldn't actually pull in, just drive through, and therefore could save a lot of time. I suppose it depends on how the game counts a pit stop i.e. upon entry or upon stopping.

Wish the lower level races were so clean on this track. Ive attempted a number of times and I think Ive had just 2 races where I havent been forced off the track.
That was an epic move by Kylian wow i never seen that before..... break straight and right on the edge flicked left maximizing grip and speed.. very very nice move i love that dude

Fun fact, the franch guy in your first race (turismo_2nd) is Lua_Turismo, one of the greatest. his FL are in between 1:25:2 and 1:24:8, He does not set any qualification lap to do a last to first. He is very consistent because he beat me around 7 times, even tho my FL are 1:25:3

Met a same German player today three races in a role. I was 2nd place and he was 1st, always early brake in turn 1 and punch my ass off the track, all three races he was doing the same thing at turn1 and turn2. I would really prefer to do online time trials than races. Just terrifying
