One thing I've found that helps me alot with these races is instead of doing all my practice in the free practice I'll just do a custom race with the exact race settings and I'll start like 7th so I can feel the dirty air and such but still be p1 by end of lap 2 and then I just run laps like that and Practice the strategy
You have a great attitude man, kept cool, calm, and collected through some very frustrating moments. You also have a tremendous amount of skill which makes it crazier to see how many people there are out there at, near, or even beyond your skill level. I mainly drift with my t300 but often try my hand at the Sport Mode time trials to get some extra cash. I can't imagine driving the way you do. Always a pleasure watching you do your thing

Steve, the reason you were so much slower on slot 3 was the wind direction. The optimal one for this race was the one you had on slot 2, you got the opposite direction on race 3. It makes A LOT of difference on laptime.
The wind direction changes your lap time. P.s you made me buy a ps5 wheel and cockpit just to play gt it was 6k I didn’t have but best money ever spent! Love ya bro your a true legend

3:10 Amazing scenes! You were extremely unlucky to get that penalty. But then, the penalty system in GT7 ceases to amaze me. This track is the daily GR4 race, and I've been shoved off the track so many times it's unreal! And there's not even a hint of the offending driver getting a penalty. But I go a mm over the white line at turn 11 and... 0.5 second penalty 😮💨

I'm a bit surprised SuperGT is still below a million! My first video was the "off you go mate" one and I was hooked once I realized I had just watched 20 minutes of racing commentary, even though I've never been even a bit interested in sports at all. 6:28 I’ve seen this happen twice. You get this penalty when YOU get pushed out of the road but caused a first collision where nothing happened. Try crashing on purpose and then exceed track limits to check if it’s only when you get bumped into.

You have different times in the qualifying because the conditions are changing. 1. 2.1ms to east (3 clock) 2. 2.8ms to northwest (10.5 clock) 3. 2.1ms to east with a bit of south (4 clock)
The new Super Formula cars are designed to minimize the effects of dirty air. It's still a component to be aware of for sure, but it should be less of a factor in comparison to the SF19 cars if the Gran Turismo aerodynamics simulation accounts for this difference.
