Oh hey. I'm in the thumbnail. It was nice racing with a legend, even if I didn't stand much of a chance.
It was a great battle in that first stint. I had to go back to the replay to see why you dropped back after the first stop and I see you took on fuel at that stop when it'd have been better to wait for stop 2. Great racing you though mate!
@@Super_GT Yeah. I facepalmed so hard watching this video, because I didn't even think of leaving the fuel for the second stop. But I doubt it would've changed much in the end, I play with a controller so I had lot of trouble with tyre wear.
@@Shadow977 big respect for showing so good driving level with a contoller!
@@Shadow977 If I may ask, do you play on stick or on Motion sensor
@@Shadow977 the way you drive made me think you also have a wheel setup. respect for putting up a great defense against steve on a controller
Being a fan of SuperGT is like being a fan of the Nations Cup before gran turismo started the Nations Cup
Hehehehhee amongussus
Did is see you on a yo boy Roy's vid
What
I saw you on OC racing, your here too 😂
@@Kader3636 W
The way you explain how to take every corner and what’s going through your head during the qualifying lap is top notch. Really reminds of Martin Brundle explaining onboards during the F1 races. Great vid!!
Damn that’s some high praise! Totally deserves it too 😎👊
How SuperGT gets from Germany, to back in the shed in such a small amount of time is just astounding.
One of the Racer secrets I'm still not privy to.
17:19 this pass right here sir. Top shelf stuff, beautifully done.
Very well calculated strategy for P2 🏁 Your throttle control is really good.
Any day a new Super GT video comes out is a good day.
If Steve can't get P6 ... he is going to get P66 LMAO
10:35 literally like verstappen, getting a 10 second gap between 2nd
Congrats on. Your endeavors. You should do another 200 laps at the green hell.
Its not whether you win or lose its how much you have me biting my nails in suspense that counts ! And you always deliver !! GG !!
"being very consistent under a DECENT amount of pressure"
lol m8 my hands are sweating just watching this. I'd have to change pants and clean the bucket seat after that. "decent" lmao you're nuts.
On a long track with 30 laps I would take the Slicks only for the last 6 rounds, they just heat up too much because of the best grip and to keep a good position up to the end or overtake the drivers before me with not such good tyres. At the beginning I would use for this track the medium or hard tyres to keep a good position for a long time with little tyre wear.
I love this 2 boxstop races, because it's all about intelligent tactics.
Started the video in a T-shirt and ended in a sweater... Those must have been some ice-cold overtakes, Mr. Chegg.
guy on pole had the hello kitty car. that's like an extra 20 horsepower
I get more enjoyment out of Super GTs races than watching Max Verstappen winning every race with ease.
Glad I re-watched this after nodding off last night. Excellent race, Steve!
What an awesome experience that was! Thank you for that, SuperGT!
that spanish driver was flying jesus.
Had you been able to race the 2 weeks you missed, you may have had a chance at p1 overall. Insane.
Just the right amount of tactics,Steve. Must have been frustrating for the other driver. So close and yet so far.
Realized this race is 50% (GT1 League)/25% (GT2/GT3 Leagues) version of Grand Valley 300km.
That's a belting result considering, GGs 🎉🎉🎉
That spanish driver was a beast, wow
How is #1 13 seconds ahead that's insane
Hey you look like that professional racing driver for Bilstein everyone is talking about.
Steve Abracadabra or something???
And I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this, you also look just a tiny little bit like Alex Albon 😉🤣
Cool..... your good u just need to have a more confidence and you'll and you'll great or even better
Gran turismo is coming to my country YES hope i geg to meet you there
Did the Polish driver have Ferrari doing his strategy?
The right t-shirt on👍😉
The Spaniard had Max Verstappen's pace
Pretty fucking dope 20:02
It is actually hilarius you ended 66
noob question but wouldn't bump drafting be optimal in these long races instead of going for the pass?
I dont quite understand something. You say that the strongest point of the gtr is his handling. But in many videos you said that the gtr is a chunky boi and isnt that good at handling. Is this because of an update? Is this a different car? Can someone explain? Ive never played this game, I only watch his videos
Late reply but there's always a meta car for each track, gtr is good and some tracks, not as good in others.
I guess having bad internet in first place isn't so bad after all.
Ah yess... It wouldn't be a complete Super GT video without 66th position on world ranking
I’m new to gran turismo. Anyone have tips to improve?
They are making a movie about you
Ok, so there will be Gran Turismo video
What's Steve's racing number?
I miss the outro music.
24:04 POV: You are anyone in F1 not named Max Verstappen
Of course you end up at double 6 digits 💀🤣
As much as it's nice to see the GT car races I feel like there isn't enough races on this channel featuring some of the more common cars, or I could just be overthinking things since I've recently went on a binge playing older GT titles on emulators. Speaking of, was wondering if skill in newer GT titles translates back to the older titles considering the difference in handling models used now compared to previous ie would a GT7 competitive driver be able to handle a vehicle from GT1 or GT2 just as well
Zero: pronounce it like hero but with a z, and pronoun the z like zebra
if you didn't miss two rounds you could've actually fought for #2 or #3 in the uk
Would have been very hard. Only the best 3 rounds counted and so I'd have to be getting 360+ points in 3 rounds. Not impossible but very tough for me.
@@Super_GT oooooooooh didn't know that
HELLO
24:29 why is there no 69 :(
that spanish with that sus ping, look like a cheater
The penalty system is so stupid in GT7. You could get a .5 second penalty and loose .7 seconds or more. Its dumb. I don't like the system the decided to go with.
I hate this track 😅
So frustrating watching your videos -- you're so concerned with being a "gentleman driver" that you NEVER bring the heat. Have you seen a real GT race? They're riding each others bumpers, they break late into corners to shoulder out the other guy, they bully the car ahead of them ... _because THAT is racing!_
I played the long game, finished 2nd and that was as high as I would have got. What should I have done differently?
@@Super_GT You're too eager on the brakes. Dive into the corners where you can. _Get in there!_
@@MisterMonsieur he took the dive when it made sense. Wtf are you even talking about dude?
19:53' there would be nothing I could do about it other than punt him into oblivion, but that's typically frowned upon in racing' honestly that actually made me laugh, which is pretty rare.
Come for the racing, stay for the dry humor, welcome to Super GT
"if i could kill it, i would, but i legally cant. But ive considered it..."
-Markiplier
That depends on which group you riding in .....in the BS group punting is the normal way to pass....
@@unknownincognito2425 insert Markiplier in da hospital
66th overall is goddamn poetic
Practically scripted😂
A huge fan here, but when I see an Alfa Romeo I can't help but cheer for Biscione
I don't play gran turismo but your videos are enjoyable to watch. Keep up the great content❤.
Yes! Yes! Yes! I don't even like cirquit racing that much, but Super GT makes it so entertaining with his narration, it's impossible not to love these videos.
Any1 else fall asleep watching the video and then come back to actually watch it again later?
Absolutely amazing pass on lap 15 - in the pitch black in the tunnel going full out fully using that tyre advantage. Your driving has come such a long way in the past few years Steve, it's no wonder people are letting you onto big boy tracks in big boy cars!
When are you opening the asmr channel?
This channel started in May 2011.
Hello SuperGT, Viewer here!
Now i can sleep again 😴
time to drink my sleeping pills
Beautiful drive SuperGT! Hell of a tactical race
Hey guys! Can someone tell me how nations cup works? how does the point system work and do you need to do every race for every hour to get points. I'm new to this and its all very confusing.
The points for each lobby are determined by the quality of the opposition. In A+ level the drivers are separated into ‘splits’ based on intentional skill based match making. I estimate this was split 4 or 5 so the top 4 or 5 skilled lobbies in the region, a very good level and especially so given the lack of practice Steve had. If you race again you lose your points for that round until you stop racing. Your best 3 rounds out of the 7 rounds available are totalled for your final score. I hope that helps you understand a little better as appreciate it can be confusing 🍻
@@FlashDaggerStudios mate your a life saver thanks heaps
What freaks me out is that Steve is one of the best... and Spanish Max Verstappen comes along and SMASHES HIM BY TWENTY S E C O N D S....
@_____@??!!!!
Mate, I've been following you since the Omega Wheel stand review and I cannot tell you how much I still enjoy your videos. You really are a top creator on this platform, and good luck for your Nordschleife adventure with Jimmy and Misha!
Love the vids! keep up the great racing
are we just going to ignore the fact that hes 66th place in the world lol
66 worldwide 6 and then 6 ! That's laughable.
I don't believe in karma but that's pretty close
Love longer races. More strategy more fun. Great video! You ever think about making some ACC content? AC for some Nordschlife practice??? (Edit: Completely forgot GT7 has the Nordschlife so you can run it there too)
Y'know thinking about it.... even Grand Valley "Highway" is kinda overselling it a bit. Is that even an A-road? Grand Valley Roadway perhaps? Lane? Drive?
let the commentry begine
Im new to the game, i have a question. Why not just drive the whole race with soft/better tires? Also, at 21:50 after the Hairpin, you didnt brake on the straight, why? As much as GT thought me, you should brake on the straight. 🤔
That slow apex and quick throttle tactic on that hairpin is pure genius. Brilliant stuff. You've got fans here in India! Keep it up Super GT.
SuperGT when to the states for Radicals, went to Germany for nurburgring, and then returned to GT Sport within the span of 4 days.
Your voice makes me tired every time,so the question is.WHEN WE GET THE ASMR STEVE😂
for this track are V6 ti and italia much better, nismo was ok but u are slower on the straight as others .. it was in the daily races and i have to say ferrari since the last update is easier to drive then before
Spaniard? Good original Spaniard name there.
Probably a China No1, VPN.
Love this game, but hate playing online, every single race I do someone sends it from 3 miles back sending me into oblivion, or spins me for passing them because sore losing 🙄
Does anybody know where the round 4 which is the Maggiore race video is becuase I can't find it.
Well done buddy. In the end, it doesnt matter where you finsh, what matter is if you had fun. Thanks for all the years of entertainment 👍😊
A tip, as well as saving tyres and fuel, go to the toilet before the race… cost me I couldn’t make it to the end , too many coffees!! 😂
That sequence of left turn into right turn tunnel is crazy! If this were a real highway, it would cause _so_ many accidents.
I wish i could be this focused while playing online, i always screw up my laps because the person in front makes a mistake and i just seem to follow
I enjoyed playing with u guys last night (Montycarlos) on the amg
66th place 😂 god you gotta be kidding me this dude can’t get away from the sixes
How does BMW feel about you driving that Nissan??????
How did you manage to pull 4 seconds at the last lap? Di he make a mistakes? Or his tyres are dying of death?
great video mate! just makes me want to play more and more GT7 :D cheers
23:01 Penalty was for the left of the chicane. Awkward corner, but it's a fair cop in this case.
So do the higher leagues get longer races? Im in GT2 and it was 15 laps with 1 pit stop
i think the most beautiful accent in the world is our supergt accent haha. man i can fall in love.
22:02 you hugged the left corner of the final chicane a tad too hard. All four tires were off the track for just a fraction of a second.
i suggest changing hdr adn ingame exposure setting to fix tunnel issue
Watching SuperGT after a late night bar shift till 5am is a vibe
Every video I watch guy says I didn’t get to practice
You definitely should of went faster on turns worth the risk
How did the Spaniard manage to create a +19 seconds gap 😮
Why do you never pick the obvious car choice, the Supra?
