My god I felt for that McLaren! The driver was so clean and intelligent and was having a decent race.. He/She must have been fuming lol absolutely gut wrenching.

Been watching your videos for years. Finally built a sim rig this year and this was my first fia race. Played it smart and managed to get on podium from 20th. Who knew Albon was such a good coach?

Second turn (left hander) exit curb at Spa Les Combes is also a notoriously tough one, a race-ender if you go an inch wide. Fun video, Steve!

I made the same stupid mistake on the shifting in my Fuji race... cost me two spots by the time I got out of T1! Good to see you back on GT Sport. and similarly, I had a very good race, at a track that I despise and don't normally fare well at, despite the lag we are dealing with in the US.
That was excellent to watch, patients and perseverance paid off, cracking result 👍🏁🍾

i’ve been away from gt sport but seeing you back is on some other level. cheer
ACC had that kurb glitch for a while, it turns out it was because the tires only had one point of contact and so when it went over the edge of curbs it would like jump over it or something unsettling the car and then thats it. They fixed it by putting five points of contact for each tire so now the tire can mould around the curb

It would be pretty easy to fix this problem if they would just disable slip stream for multiplayer qualifying

I don't play this game, just watch it, and it's mind boggling to me why qualifying isn't just with slipstream turned off or even simpler everyone drives their round separately.

Been awhile and this is quite late now but good to see you back on GT Sport. In my split, I basically just let everyone else go and do all that nonsense and waited until they were a good distance before going out of pit lane and doing 2 laps on my own. Somehow qualified 5th with NO draft (Driving the Supra) and ended up finishing 2nd right on the bumper of the leader (Using that Medium-to-Soft strategy), not a bad result considering it was my first Manufacturer race in over a year.

Very late comment here, but you did a great job in such a long race, it's so hard to keep focus and make the right decisions, but you nailed it.
I ended up in an M3 for some reason 🤣 great on the bends but killed on the straight and tyres.

I find the exit curb at the last turn to be even more of a problem than the one in T3... touch it and you are going half way 'round until you plow into the inside wall, no saving it...
Steve can you give tips on how to be quick on a controller?This would also be good for you as you would get used to the controller again.I really need this and I'm sure that there are some people who need this like me.The closest I got to the top qualifier of the daily races was 0.9 seconds.

I think to fix the qualifiers is either to have everyone be "separate" in the sense that you see no-one, or have slip stream turned off so others cant improve times off of each other over a unfair advantage.
