Wrong wiring colors. Bad splices. Grounding issues. These all added up to some head-scratching troubleshooting when trying to wire a new fan for a bathroom at a home in Costa Rica. What do you do when you encounter wiring situations that just don't follow "standard" wiring guidelines?
