IT'S JUST POO, PEOPLE! We can get a little embarrassed around the subject, but the fact is that filling and emptying toilet cassettes is part and parcel of caravan life. In this video Steven it taking you through the process of emptying these biohazards-on-wheels to ensure that you don't look like a fool in front of your fellow campers.

Before you set off for the dump point, don't forget to prepare yourself with a bunch of suitable quips / greetings for when you meet other gents doing tne same task. I suggest starting off with 4 basic phrases: 1 - 'haha just bloody walking the dog hey mate?!' 2- 'haha just bloody destroying the evidence hey mate?!' 3 - 'haha just bloody throwing out the old brown suitcases hey mate?!'and 4 - 'haha just bloody getting up to a bit of secret men's business hey mate?!' The important thing is to select a few key dump point greeting phrases you're comfortable with, and you'll accumulate more as you go. The real treasure of caravanning is the euphemisms for shitting we gain along the way...

Make sure the dump point lid is closed when you take off or put on the cap for your cassette - you don't want your cap falling into the dump point!

Why would you rinse the dump point (no pun) before rinsing the cassette itself. "Yes to empty it, clean the empty site, then make it dirty again."

How should you store the cassette if you are not going to use the van for some time? Dry or have some water and/or chemical in it?
