If the solar panels are putting in say 3amps (due to low light, cloud etc) & the fridge is using 8amps then your on board batteries will not top up. Bit like having a bucket with a hole in it allowing 8 litres of water/min out while you're trying to pour in 3 litres/min.

Lucky for us we are fortunate enough not to have a Supreme or a Leader so we don’t suffer any of the issues associated with a lesser quality caravan.

I bought a 1999 built Coromal Pioneer XC in 2016 with the original Electrolux 3 way fridge fitted - still runs brilliantly today on all 3 systems. I’ve replaced the freezer door self closing hinges and cleaned out the pilot light burner jet and it fires up on gas every time. Couldn’t ask for better quality.

I bought a new van in 2014, minus appliances. I had to buy a 3 way, because compressor fridges didn’t fit the opening! I don’t know if they are the same size now though! I really wanted a compressor fridge, but I did get a good price on my van. I spent the money I saved on the appliances. I fitted a Thetford ceramic bowl electric flush toilet, Ibis 3 aircon, Swift forced oven with wok burner & one ceramic hot plate, Swift stainless steel 28ltr dual fuel hot water unit & two Fiamma reversible fans in the ensuite, one to suck in & one to suck out! Great in summer!

The more I see about these cassette toilets, the more I like them.

I used a Honda 2kva to power an Ibis2 aircon for years, workers outa marble bar and woody woody for years ( 55deg + ) without any hiccups. Sadly after 10 the Ibis gave up the ghost, I have upgraded to a fresh jet 7 pro. and its awesome

Terms like @let out and Peel off mean nothing without explanation. Please explain what you are doing as the key part is what to do and when once you’ve got it turning … Ie straighten wheels or turn to opposite side to follow van in

Your break away cable is not allowed to be attached to the towbar. It must be connected to another part of the car so it can work if the towbar gets ripped off

The fridge being raised with the hot water system now underneath and the microwave now overhead on the sink and bench side, was a specific design alteration I came up with and initiated with supreme last year, so we could have a full tunnel boot and more room next to the toilet in the ensuite in our new 20’ Territory. I see they liked the design and have made it standard. Just made more sense to us.

It's the complete lack of basic etiquette so many new or even 'seasoned' caravaners DON'T exercise! When it comes to loud music, walking through sites, loud screaming kids or constantly barking dogs and general noise...these things can completely ruin what is suppose to be a relaxing holiday or break.

Great advice. A-frame cover- Bunnings kettle bbq cover $20. Works a treat. I have removed the wheel centre hub covers so I can always touch the actual hub cap for temperature when stopped during travels. Thanks

Amazing tests. Very hard to find these types of tests on the internet. Most are just how to weigh a van. Would love to see more education videos on comparing weights even what two bikes at the back on vs off or two jerry cans at the back on vs off, generator up front on or off do to the tow ball weight. On a dual axle leaf sprung van if possible 😅

I have series 3 but suddenly I get nothing... not even one channel. Tried everything... all connections good. I am keen on the Van Tenna but you dont talk about it much apart from its roof space etc. Does it compare to the others for signal strength? Otherwise, good job presentation... I learn a lot. Good job guys, a good explanation. Your dual axle van used has a non load sharing suspension like most of the newer vans these days. A load sharing suspension like my old Bushtracker caravan or your van fitted with air bags instead of coil springs will have the same result on the ball weight as your single axle van.

In a load share dual axle aka most common spring suspension, but if air air bagged non load share the difference will be be mot to your scales, the airbag is a sweet ride the load share is a safe ride.

Well done guys. We had our new 2024 van weighed last week and went 3177kg empty, 202kg on the ball and the compliance plate stated 2980 tare and 230kg ball weight..... What hope have travelers got when laws don't exist to hold manufacturers accountable...

Great video. One question I have is what happens to towball download, when you have been away for say a week, and your water tanks are about empty and your grey water is full. Does this affect download much at all?

My husband’s sis in Vic bought a Supreme, we really liked it, we bought one from Adelaide RV, our daughter bought one from them, and our daughter’s in-laws bought one from them all in the space of 2 years. We love it and have had no problems with it at all. We’ve added some upgrades. Sadly no one will insure it for what we believe it is worth. Thanks Adelaide RV, and congrats on your 8th year.
