Fun Fact: the scene where James Woods goes "fuck this!" when he sees her head turn was adlibbed. He'd started laughing and said the line so he could go off screen and compose himself. You can still kinda see him laughing when the other priest brings him back in. It was so good they left it in. Also, I love how they brought some of the characters back to life from the first one like nothing happened.
Yes! She gives the best facial expressions and reactions, just even when she reacts to the singer calling her out on the radio or the bird talking back to her! She's just hilarious!
the original 2 were the best Kenean Ivory Wayans directed and Shawn and Marlon were writers who came up with the original concept but after they left the franchise after the 2nd movie the quality went way down
You know they had to have had such a good time making this movie. The scene with Cindy fighting the cat, for instance....but she committed to it, although I am unsure how many outtakes there might have been.
The way Cindy ran screaming and flailing, always reminds me of that screaming kid from the movie Robin Hood: Men in Tights. 🤣 Every time I see someone running away like that my mind takes me back to that movie.

That fight scene between the 3 girls & the creepy guy was a spoof of those god awful Charlie's Angels movies that was released around the same time. Between 13 ghosts, poltergeist and other references, they managed to put together something of a movie...not bad.
In the basement action scene, it helps if you've seen "Charlie's Angles". The Wayans' have their own type of humor. I think their chapters were the best. The next chapters aren't quite as good. You might want to check them out, anyway. They are a bit more tame & tepid, but not entirely without chuckles.
You have to see I'm Gonna Get You Sucka!, Keenan Ivory Wayans' movie from 1986. In my opinion it's funnier than any of the Scary Movies. It parodies the blacksploitation cop/vigilante movies of the 70's but you don't need to have seen any to follow the story and appreciate the humor. Best Regards!

The scene with Cindy breaking out of the freezer was a reference to the Kevin Bacon Invisible Man movie, as are anything dealing with seeing the ghost, like the steam pipe making him visible, the 3 girls all in black is a reference to the early 2000's version of Charlies Angels with Cameron Diaz.Cindy getting hit by the car at the end is a repeat of her getting hit in the end of the first movie and a call back to the beginning of the first movie with shorty getting car head like the dad was that hit Carmen Electra in the opening of the first movie.
