I love this movie. A lot of people don't, but the reason I love this movie is because you can see how the actors were just having fun. Took a vacation together, shot a movie and improvised a lot of it.
yeah to me this is one of the better adam sandler movies it just feels relatable but still wacky
I was going to say something similar. We they’re all good friends. I think most of this was improvised.

One of my favourite Adam Sandler movies.
Like you said, his movie's have alot of heart and full of humour.
Grown Ups 2 is also worth watching.
Buscemi killed it in this movie, his comedy timing is spot on!!!

This is the kind of fun all of us would have with a group of friends that we've been friends with forever, only if we were famous comedians and could afford to make a movie. In short, this movie is just fun and enjoyable and like most Adam Sandler movies (most) it's rewatchable and easy to laugh along with. (Grown Ups 2 is also just as fun.)
just the delivery of "go down there hangin by ya feet" gets me everytime 🤣🤣🤣
This movie is definitely one of my comfort movies! So glad you guys enjoyed it just as much as I do!
I like this movie for 2 main reasons:
1) the actors just look like they're having fun, and it's fun to watch that, and
2) all the parents seem to know that every ounce of the things they don't like in their children (Lenny's kids being spoiled, Eric's kids being coddled, and Kurt's kids' lack of respect for him) were due to the situations they themselves created. I think of this movie every time I hear people my parents' age complaining about "kids these days" being soft and sensitive, always with a negative connotation. I don't know why anyone would want jaded, insensitive children. Anyhow, we didn't raise ourselves; the generations complaining are the ones at fault.
Oh my God grown-ups was one of my favorite movies with Adam Sandler and the guys! The sequel is even more hilarious! I recommend watching that next.

Honestly, I ended up really loving Rob Schneider's performance here. It might be my favorite that I've seen of him. It's a surprisingly deep role and in the end I found his relationship with the old lady to be really sweet 😂

Rest in peace to Cameron Boyce, who played Adam Sandler's youngest aon Keith. He passed away in 2019 after having a seizure in his sleep
Every movie it's just Adam and his boys having a good time. Man I love that guy and all his work.
I worked with Steve Buscemi once on "Armegeddon". I was his body double for the asteroid scenes. We only had a little interaction between scenes but he was very easygoing and kind. I also worked with Rob Schneider on "Demolition Man" and he was cool too.
RIP Alec Mussar and Cameron Boyce 2 legends that were taking away from us.
This one was such a good movie with so much more to it than just the comedy.
Now you need to see part 2; it's just as good or better.

This is pure Adam Sandler as a director/friend/producer and I love it. It's literally just him and his Hollywood buddies doing dumb shit and it's fantastic. Shame the 2nd one didn't feel as 'real'.
I love that movie the humor feels so natural not forced or over the top, that you could imagine that those things could actually happened somewhere what made it just more funny.
This and Grown Ups 2 are a perfect set of movies. And yes, Buscemi and most of the same cast return in the sequel... with a few brilliant additions.

Man it makes me think you two wish you had that kind of summertime with your friends and family and believe me you guys be having a great time with them just like in this movie
We had it once before, a trip with all our friends and it was the best thing ever; it does get harder to do that stuff as we get older with our own lives going on. Hoping maybe we can do it again, at least once more!

The Lamensoff character was 100% written with Chris Farley in mind. Nothing will ever convince me otherwise. Shame he couldn't be around for this SNL reunion.
Also, Adam Sandler really is quite good at basketball. He plays on set a lot...pickup games with the crew.
Adam Sandler said that he was, the 1st draft of the movie was written while he was still alive & it sat on the shelf for a decade.
As a Canadian I find that guy speaking Canadian in a weird way had me LMFAO 😂🤣 we Canadians don't normally speak like that other than saying eh! But still it's funny as hell!!
I reconmend watching the sequel in the near future eh. And besides I have a cousin who lives in Saskatchtoon lol 🤣

These guys watching a movie makes me laugh so hard. Cool fact, my husband is blind and obviously can just listen to it and he finds the twins hilarious even without the visual of them. Honestly, they should recommend this to people with depression. You cannot help but laugh.

The sequel is fine. There is more of the same. I'd recommend checking it out. If you like Steve Buscemi, you should try Con-Air.

This is one of our all time favourite movies, such a feel good experience. Made me crack up all over again to see you guys laughing at everything for the first time 😂 fantastic video! We also had great trips from the U.K. to Florida with our family and best friends in the past and this movie gives me such nostalgia for this trip too. Adam Sandler has really tapped into the feeling of holiday memories. If you haven’t watched it already, I would recommend both Just Go With It and Blended for you next Sandler flicks ❤

Another great movie. Did you guys notice Adam Sandler movies are always cast with comedians supporting him in many of his other movie roles. I think that's good, because they are funny and the chemistry are great. I loved Waterboy, 50 First Dates. There are many others.

Ahhhhh, God bless America! You’re gonna die watching this. How cool must it be to make a movie with your best buddies basically just hanging out. So awesome. Adam Sandler is apparently a really good ball player and shows up at public courts for pick up games with strangers. At least, that’s the story I’ve heard.
PLEASE check out, The Man Who Knew too Little staring the one and only Bill Murray. It’s criminally underrated and an absolute riot. His character has no idea and it’s awesome.
i honestly LOVE both the grown up films...the dynamic of the five friends and their kids is particularly interesting to me:
Adam Sandler's kids: those two boys to be fair suffer from what's called "entitled childhood" if you are raised in a certain way you don't appreciate the better and simpler things in life...but hey even i like gelato.
Chris Rock's kids: they are fairly decent, but they clearly show favouritism to one parent...which is ok so long as it doesn't become toxic.
Kevin James' kids (the big guy): it's fairly clear there is a lack of discipline and control there...any normal parent would know when to draw the line on breast feeding.
as for the other two, Rob and David...well one is sleeping with a lot of girls which makes him kind of sketchy and one has a track record for sleeping with older women...so yeah...
