"This drummer, whoever he is..." Nick Menza, perhaps the best drummer that Megadeth have ever had. May he rest in peace.
Or rust in peace…
Or the best drummer ever
@@josephworthen4347 Nope, of course Nick is one of kind and really legendary, but bro, Gar was just something else , just a beast with the beast drum parts, and such jazz inspiration in his playing
@@canyouputapriceonpeace4539 Gar was a phenomenon behind a drum set
@@josephworthen4347 Dime saying hold my beer (even though he didnt drink a lot). Rip.
My favorite line: "hello,me-meet the Reeall me!"🤣🤙(imagine an army of 10,000 Dave Mustanes)
That will either be one hell of a fun party, or a trainwreck. Either way, count me in.
They'd either fight themselves until only one is left or they'd merge together into Giant Dave
There isn't enough drugs
@@miconis123 aka MegaDave
I'm one of those 10,000 ppl 💯💯
Suggest listening to "peace sells", "trust", "stone cold" and "kill the king", all good songs by Megadeth.
Rainbow's Kill the King is waay better tho
@@arttuuusisalo8709Have to agree on that one. Love a bit of Rainbow
Stone cold? You mean Cold sweat? Thats a cover
@@_Obnoxious_ didn't realise I called it that 😂
I think their cover of cold sweat is really good so thought I'd mention it
Kill the king is so good I’m just not that much of a fan of the chorus.
Dude, I really love watching you work through what these songs mean. Have no fear, all art is subjective. Books, songs, movies, jokes, paintings; art means what you say it means. Different for everyone. Love the LFR fam lil bro, I really appreciate you taking us on this journey with you. Best wishes to all y'all. You, your dad and your sister have really been a bright spot for me these days man, much appreciated.
Train of Consequence by them is pretty good.
Such a great intro
Highly overlooked song
Next you should go with Fear of the dark, Ace's high or The Rhyme of the ancient mariner.
And where eagles dare, also mother Russia.
Megadeth did rhyme of the ancient mariner?
@@metalmellie4371 no, Iron Maiden.
Fear of the dark is one of my favorite songs.
Fear of the Dark for sure
Hell yeah! You got to peer into the mind of Mustaine and his genius. I absolutely love this song. That thuddy walking bass line at the beginning,.......the middle, slightly faster part where the drums and guitar take over,......great song writing. Great video production too.
Yeah, the song's about mental illnesses. (Specifically, it's about disassociative identity/multiple personality disorder, but there's some possible references to schizophrenia.) The setting of the video is kind of up in the air though, as it could either be a jail due to another personality having killed someone or an asylum due to his overall unstable condition.
Anyways, here's a list of some songs you should check out.
Painkiller by Judas Priest
Primo Victoria by Sabaton
Through the Fire and Flames by DragonForce
Bury the Light by Casey Edwards
Peace Sells by Megadeth
Du Hast by Rammstein
Hootsforce by Gloryhammer
Pumping Iron Power by Grailknights
The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg by Iron Maiden
Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath
Alhazred by Shoggoth
As always, great video. Love your reactions.
My wife looked up just as it started and saw your reaction and started laughing 😅. Reminds us of her Mom's face when she first heard the song back in the day (we're over 50 now)and then she started dancing 💃" this ones a bit funky!"lol In honor of my crazy Mom in-law react to Ace's High her favorite by them.Sadly she passed away last year.
R.I.P. Nick Menza 😷who was Megadeth's drummer from 1990 to 1998 (This came out in 1992)
This was Megadeth's most legendary line-up: Nick Menza (drums), Marty Friedman (lead guitar), David Ellefson (bass) & Dave Mustaine (vocals & guitar)🤘
🔥🔥🔥🔥 Best thrash video ever! I appreciate your ability to try and identify and understand any music, sometimes the lyric loosely fitting is enough to perpetuate the vibe, usually in music the vibe matters more than the literal definition of the word. Great choice 😎
React to peace sells by megadeth it was their 2nd album one of tbe greatest metal albums ever
Megadeth really helped get through my time while i served in the Marines.
Megadeth Symphony of Destruction ( that one night in Buenos Aires)
Awesome music video .. I have always loved this video, one of my favorites.
I was waiting your reaction about this song, and i was sure you like it.
Love this 😂
This song got me into Megadeth and Metal in general when I was 12. I used to sneak up to watch Headbanger's Ball every Saturday behind my parents' backs. Good times.
Megadeath was a big part of my teens years back in the '80s and '90s. I got to see them 5 times over the years and it was always a great show.
I mean, he's going to have to do Slayer (you, LFR JoJo)-- it's crazier. Slayer - Psychopathy Red.
Or the usual, Raining Blood; South of Heaven.
A Slayer gutiarist also played with Megadeth (temporarily) and the Megadeth singer/gutarist, as perhaps by now know, was originally with Metallica.
He's already done raining blood. He was gripping a Bible really really tight. Lol
I get that slayer is a "standard" but lets be real, theyre the shittiest of the big four. Theyre boring and so cliched. Anthrax is far superior to slayer
@@Danfrombackhome I don't really say 'big four' or even 'metal'. Especially not 'standard'; Slayer's always been my favourite until Metallica recently. Slayer's appeal is unique in that it reaches, I suppose you could say that it's different than those others in its darker aspects. Like a slightly different kind of music.
I got some serious chills listening to that instrumental section. Always gets me. 💯
I love this video
Goose bumps!!! OOOOwwwww
Yes finally!!!!
Lol i love this song so much
In my darkest hour is very good bro
Great song my fav Megadeth song.
Legendary rap battle between Dave Mustaine and Dave Mustaine 😂
I think it's time for JoJo to explore other Legends of rock. I'm talking Credence Clearwater Revival, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, The Who, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Grand Funk Railroad, Cream, The Allman Brothers Band. He has yet to react to these legends.
Also he hasn't reacted to Smashing Pumpkins, U2, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, etc.
Also we need to convince him to give Korn another try. Whoever suggested he should listen to the song Daddy as his first Korn song needs to be slapped. The lyrical content of that song along with the devastating outpouring of emotions probably isn't the best choice for a 'first time' reaction song. I think Jojo would really enjoy Korn if he gave it another go.
Nooooo, lol!!!
That was excellent!!! Love Megadeth!
😀😀😀 Scared me too.❤️❤️
One of my favorite by them.
Yes yes yea yes. Thank you.
The drummer is the late Nick Menza. He was one of Megadeth's premiere drummers (Gar Samuelson being the best who also died.)
Wait… You’re telling me you haven’t heard black hole sun by Soundgarden yet?
How!? It is a must!
React to this NEXT NEXT NEXT!
Did he say that?
"Dragon Force - Through Fire and Flames" "Korpiklaani - Lempo" please
08:00 The Song is written about being schizophrenic according to Dave Mustaine, and by the way, the drummer is nick menza RIP
Hell. It's been hot as Fuk outside. And I live in upper Michigan lol.
I think it's safe to say that Jojo is a rock fan!
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH
Hey Jojo, love your videoes! For the next one you should try Raining Blood by Slayer.
Hey Jojo, you should also do a reaction to the Megadeth song "A Tout La Monde" which is a French translation of "For Everyone"
à tout le monde, je vous aime, je doit partir. To everybody, I love you all, I have to go.
Great choice, now you need to do 'Trust'
Looking down the cross, last rites…I loved you to deth, the conjuring, or good mourning/black Friday
This is what we love bout megadeath
Yay megadeth is OP. Love em. U need to hear "whose life is it anyway"
My personal favorite Megadeth song is A Tout Le Monde. I highly recommend it.
I actually tell everyone I want A Tout Le Monde played at my funeral.
@@alabamaguns3684 I mean...👍
No finer send off for a warrior surviving in this world we live in.
Check out Anthrax! "Madhouse", "AIR", any version of "I'm the Man", "I am the Law", and their balls out collaboration with Public Enemy on "Bring the Noise"
Yep that drummer needs a raise, by about 6ft i would say !
"In My Darkest Hour" by Megadeth as well
Check out Train of Consequences, Breadline, Wanderlust, Foreclosure of a Dream, 99 Ways to Die, Mechanix.
Love your choices, man I remember jamming out to this.
Happy you got back to Megadeth. I'd like to know what you think of Mushroomhead. Could you do a reaction to We Are The Truth please
Mushroomhead - We Are The Truth
You will be singing this all day now lol
Megadeth - Good Mourning/Black Friday
You should also react to "Liar" always from Megadeth, which contains one of the first rap-lines ever sung in metal. Check it out! 🤟
It has an intro in the original and remastered versions, the music video cut it off
but that has it's merits, like that jumpscare you got in the beginning
Give Liar by The Rollins Band a spin. It's a song that looks at the mind of a sociopath, from their perspective. It also has one of the best closing lines in a song ever
Bro be like “why haven’t you checked out Megadeth?” He be like “cause there scary”!
Stone temple pilots song called Dead and bloated scared the shit out of me one time when I was driving my truck on private property. I AM SMELLING LIKE A ROSE...
Megadeth she wolf rude awakening live 2001 is probably one of the best live performances in Metal history. The final 4 minutes is simply pure music magic. Don’t listen to the studio version. Make sure it’s the Rude Awakening live version. You will get blown away! You can still find the lyrics online 🤘🏼🤘🏼
The album version of this song has a slight instrumental leading up to the beginning where this video starts.
everytime i listen to this song, i think of me and my old me having a conversation
The great songs mean something to everyone, mot necessarily the same thing, but you feel it.
Rest in peace Nick Menza.
Just passing by...aghhh...aghhh... TORNADO OF SOULS... aghh... aghh
Drowning Pool - tear away,
I am, Mute!! All good songs!!🤘
Tbh the whole albums is great man!! The album called is sinner
Should definitely give disturbed - sound of silence a listen!
Harri!!!!!!
TORNADO OF SOULS
Nice collection. Where's your CB34's?
Welcome to what most military veterans live everyday fucking day....every fucking hour....every fucking minute....welcome...
Loving it. But please listen to Pearl Jam ‘Black’. Much love
This song is epic in my lol 🌎 world
How old is this music video? It still looks fresh.
Cool tune 🤘
As a singer the "sweating bullets" part is hard to get just right.
I have three personal favorites that I don't believe you've reacted to, but I'm interested to see what you think of them. Victory, Looking Down the Cross or My Last Words. Your reactions are interesting. I like your insights even if I don't agree.
Try "Symphony of Destruction" and "Hanger 18".
MEGADETH'S TORNADO OF SOULS NOW PLS!
Megadeth - Peace Sells
I cant wait to see some hear this for the first time! Lol.
Update: was not dissapointed...
You have to listen to "Peace Sells" and "Hangar 18". Famous songs. A lot of people don't know it's Megadeth.
Hey man I was looking through your vids and haven’t seen you react to any
_WHITE ZOMBIE_
_La Sexorcisto Devil Music Vol.1_
That's legit.
Listen to "Anagoda Davida" by Iron Butterfly and "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard. They are both lit!
He is saying since he is crazy the court let him go!
dave at its best!
“Woman” by Wolfmother should be on your list
Newer megadeth is very relevant too. Check out their newer stuff as well. Like dystopia, ect
I promise you will not regret listening to Peace Sells. It has a great bass groove
Check out Go To Hell or A Tout Le Monde. The Go To Hell song was featured in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. I highly recommend watching this movie. And the first one.
Listen to I thought I knwe it all, Family Tree, She wolf, In my darkest hour... Megadeth is too fucking good! 😎😎😎
AC ⚡ DC ''Badad boy boogie " (Apollo theatre Glasgow April 1978)
Skid Row " Youth Gone Wild "
He was the lead guitarist of seek and destroy
Megadeth - Conquer or Die
You are distracting me on my day off 😜
Hangar 18 is another great song by Megadeth.
Also check out Liberate by Disturbed
Do "captive honor " next
Please listen to Death - Pull the Plug :)
Checkout 'Countdown to Extinction' next. 💖🇬🇧👍
Like this song, so twisted. Peace Sells is probably my fave of Megadeth
