Great song and video. Glad I was able to see the Mustaine - Ellefson - Friedman - Menza lineup live on the Cryptic Writings tour. Overall I've seen Megadeth live 3 times. Also, I highly recommend the Megadeth song 99 Ways To Die. It was the first Megadeth song I heard way back in 93 and it kicks ass🤘
First time I heard this, I was a senior in high school. Loved it then as much as I do now.

I'm so, so happy that you're reacting to Megadeth. I'm even more happy that you started off with Holy Wars...The Punishment Due, that's the absolute perfect way to get introduce to the band.
My introduction to Megadeth was this song Sweating Bullets back when I was just a kid when it first came out in 1992. Been pretty much a fan since, but became a bigger fan in 2004.
Anymore Megadeth reactions, then I suggest the following official music videos from them "Hanger 18", "Peace Sells..,But Whose Buying", and "Wake Up Dead".

"Sweating bullets" has for many years before this song came out meant to nervously worry about something happening or could happen or about to happen. such that you are literally sweating with nervousness - large drops of sweat - the "bullets' as they drip down.
I got to see them in Nashville on their Cryptic Writings tour. Talked to him for a half hour before the show and a half hour after. Really good dude. He autographed a couple Megadeth trading cards for me and went on the bus and got Marty to sign one.
Greatest era for Megadeth in my opinion. I just bought a ticket yesterday to go see them in August. I’m excited because it’s probably been over 20 years since I’ve seen them.

Hello Miss Ray! I’ve always loved this song. Dave wrote it from a 1st person POV of schizophrenia, but I’ve always felt it also referred to how nearly everyone has some kind of mental oddity going on. Driving while singing this song is somehow liberating and hilarious all at once. You should try it! That could be a good video segment for you to try- Ray’s Road Jams.

'Symphony of Destruction' is probably the band's most iconic song. 'Countdown to Extinction' is a warning about disappearing species of animals. 'A Tout Le Monde' is a later song with some French lyrics.

'Lucretia' off "Rust in Peace", I think you would like it. The song is slower than 'Holy Wars....' but still has a killer solo from Marty and Dave at the end.
"Countdown to extinction" is the first Megadeth album I listened to back in 1996. I knew very few about Heavy Metal and Megadeth helped me becoming a metalhead. I'm always very fascinated by the instrumental parts, less the vocals: the musicans here are very talented, Mustaine and Friedman first!
I can not wait for you to get to Symphony of Destruction, Hangar 18 and Tornado of Souls! You really should check out A Tout Le Monde too

My favorite thing about this video is Marty Friedman in his cell. The man is one of the most chill dudes walking the face of the Earth, so the craziest he gets is sitting quietly and meditating. It's 100 percent accurate.

So, I didn't see anyone else address this … in your video, the one I see split-screen with your reaction on the right (stage left) and the music video on the left (stage right), there is no overlap of the CC lyrics like you describe. Could have been a glitch in the video you were watching, or an artifact of whatever software you are using (OBS or whatever) to record the video.

no, the expression existed before this song, he is just using it. remember Dave was an original member of Metallica till the kick him out. he still owns the rights to roughly half of the songs on the first two Metallica albums. Dave started Megadeth and became a legend anyway, he plays a major role of 2 of the big 4 metal bands. Dave was the man, time has revealed.
