- Here is my take on the Surface Pro 6 vs Surface Pro 7 and touch on the upcoming Surface Pro 8. Detailed Comparison between the two and which one should you buy?
Tweaking Notes:
Search for an app called cru-1.4.2 it will help you set custom Hz for the display. I know some people can overclock their display up to 75Hz; but 69Hz should be no problem :)

I bought a used surface pro 6 with i7, 16gb ram n 512ssd.. it came with win10 pro installed😂 paid $220 with tax n shipping combined👍 Loved it!

Have a look at the Surface Pro 7+ with the i7 processor. That or you can now get LTE advanced as an option.

Alright, it would be awsome if everyone stops saying the design is too old. I really like the fact that i'm able to hold the surface with one hand and still write.
The front display is awesome, the edges are rounded enough... repetition in design is not bad if its usable, and for me this is usable.
That being said, i would like a kickstand that would make the surface vertical, and the way the pen was held in the X was very awesome.

@@skyglaze glad i could help :) one more thing i could say tho, is that the magnesium body is very bendable, and the screen... less so. That means that when there is a shock anywere, the screen will most likely break (i have repaired a few SP now, and its always the screen). So this is the kind of device that really needs ether a case of not to be dropped.

The reason why i my mind changed to Samsung is that Microsoft surface pro 6 has software support ended in 2023 and pro 7 will last to 2025 but it is still just 1 year and I don't have budget to buy latest version...

One quick question. Does your surface pro 6 or 7 have flickering issues? And also what about heat issues? Does your surface pro heats up when you do video conference or do some note taking?
Good question! Yes the Surface Pro 7 does heat up when you push it; so it's more like a mobile device for email, word, notes.
As for the screen, I have overclocked the display to 69Hz and no flickering :)

I didn't understand about the difference in the build-in wifi and Bluetooth, wont we able to able to connect to wifi devices and Bluetooth devices in pro 6, can you please help me with more details
Only makes a difference if you're install MacOS on your Surface Pro. If you're running Windows 10, there would be no difference :)

@@rajesshgedila4357 That's for people who are looking to install OS X on their Surface Pro, wifi will work natively on the Pro 7, but the Pro 6 will need a dongle under MacOS
For Bluetooth? Is pro 6 have LTE?
surface pro 7+ has removable ssd. You can easily remove it from back but pro 6 has it sealed inside the display.
I thought the removable design is in pro7+ but not pro7?
The type c charging on 7 is a huge win over the 6

I should say Surface Pro 7, but your will need to get a fan because they both throttle and overheat when playing something intensive.

kind of feel like i7 16g/512g pro 6 may be better in performance, if the price is even lower than that specific pro7. Unless you really want the additional type c port in pro 7
