Digital electronics is why, yes it is crisper & cleaner, louder in some instances, but not better, digital takes away all the Ambience the Analog electronics systems captured. You young folks missed out on the best sound of Quadrophonics.

      It’s them singing live,
but they took the additional woman voices off the track.
The women that sang with them were a group called
The Sigma Sweethearts that consisted of
      Barbara Ingram,Carla Benson,and Yvette Benton.
They were on many of Thom’s productions as they were needed because the guys would sometimes sing too low.
They were also on many of Thom’s friends Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff’s productions.

This was what I got to dance to in the late 60s; the Spinners and the Four Tops were my very favorite. They all had such style and grace; that day is sadly long gone.🙁

One of our favorite groups a lot of good memories tied to their music for me and my wife. They started in the 50s and are still going. We have seen them live over 30 times. 35 years of marriage and whole lot of time grooving to their music. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. ✌

I ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️THE SPINNERS….ALWAYS HAVE. My babysitter would always bring her Spooner’s records over and they just bring such fond memories to me. Their lyrics were so loving and beautiful and the girls were so unique. All of the original members are gone now but they have a younger generation of spinners still touring.

He really was. Simply doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Unsure why he was relegated to the final part of the jam here either - Spinners were at their very best when he was front and centre, simple as that.
