Jamel, I used to go to the Bellamy's Rattlesnake Festival in Florida back in the early 1970's before Howard and David made it big with this song and they are just real, down to earth people. A couple of other great songs by the boys are "Boobs", "Old Hippie" (you should listen to the trilogy of Old Hippie), and "Do You Love As Good As You Look". Thanks for giving the brothers some recognition on your channel. 👏👍✌️
JAMEL You want a feel great song TRYYY Andy Kims song ROCK ME GENTLY , From 1974 , Youl dance your every thing off LOL ,, I PROMISE 70s BABY Thanks jamel for your time Brother,
I can not disagree. I must have heard this song first when it was released, and even back then I felt its power. To this day, in the grocery, when this song comes on everyone sings.
"Let your love bind you to all living things." I was a very young teenager when this song came out. The messages in the music back in the late 60s and early 70s shaped me in such positive ways. Really love this one. Let your love flow!
Thats my song".Let your love flow,"They have an England Dan and John Ford Coley vibe. "Love is the Answer","Id really love to see you tonight", "Nights are forever without you",. Also Seals And Croft "Diamond Girl". Love that style of music.
If there is ever a perfect song, it's definitely this one. Memories of my childhood from the 70s decade come flowing back to me with tears of happiness. I can never get enough listening to the Bellamy Brothers.
I'm a fan of a lot of rough, hard-edged music-- hard rock, metal, punk, funk, and jazz-rock fusion-- but I love this song and this band too. Hearing "Let Your Love Flow," anywhere and everywhere, is one of my happiest memories of the '70s, and hearing it today still makes me smile and feel young.
This was a GREAT song from back in the day. It was heavily played on the radio. So much so I can still almost sing it word for word after 40 plus years. Love it!
They have another great song, "If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me" that was out when I was a kid. I loved it and would sing it all the time, with no clue of the double entendre. It's a great song and I'd love for you to check it out!
I never realized how dirty songs were from my childhood. Walk This Way and even Let’s Get Physical by Olivia Newton John. I seriously thought it was about exercising lol. I miss that innocence. Children today don’t have that anymore. I’m trying to with my daughters. Children should just be able to be kids. No worries.
Great song! I have vague memories of this song from when I was a kid. I saw Blake Shelton in concert last year, the Friends & Heroes tour - and the Bellamy Brothers was one of the acts touring with him. When they played this song - I remembered it like yesterday & even remembered most of the lyrics. Hadn't heard it for decades
I was eight when this came out. I used to love when it came on the radio. Never knew who did it back then. took the computer age to find it again, and now it is on my permanent play list. One of my favorite songs ever. Thank you for the reaction. Spread the love

In october 1976 The Bellamy Brothers with "Let your love show", a no.1 hit in germany for 5 weeks, before the german version of that song ("Ein Bett im Kornfeld"/ a bed in a cornfield LOL) topped the charts for another 11 weeks.
You see kids? Back in the day, we had people that actually wrote and performed music without autotune, overly produced tracks, and they could perform as good live as they did in the studio.
I can’t express how well this song sounded coming through crap car radios on AM back in the day. Perfect summer song. I was twelve and my mom who was not big on rock, pop, or soul would let me play these types of songs that were about kindness play till my heart’s content. I'm 52 years old. I've known this song since I was a kid in the 70's, and this is my first time actually seeing them. They actually look pretty close to what I pictured in my head for over 40 years.
Love how open you are to a wide variety of jams from a bunch of sources. Songs for me take me to specific times and places...this one...I'm ten years old riding with mom and dad in the old Ford LTD wagon...funky-ass tinny radio with pushbuttons that you pulled out and pushed in to set the stations and the super-cool extra knob for the speaker in back. We're gonna to see granny and this comes on. Mom is singing along with my head laying in her lap and dad is all off-key. The BEST of times. Nothing but love. Glad you can feel it in the music too.
What are the odds? I played this song for my youngest daughter two days ago. I haven't heard it in years. A bunch of years. My old man had the record. And now here you are. Incredible.

My dad went to school with Guy, so I’ve been listening to his songs for as long as he’s been recording albums. A LOT of really good songs that tell a story. I think Jamel would love Guy’s catalog.
