Farm Journal Thrifty Cook Cottage Cheese Pancakes
1 Cup Self- Rising Flour
2 Cups Cottage Cheese
4 Eggs (beaten)
1/3 Cup Milk
Mix together well and cook on a griddle that has been greased with butter or bacon fat. (Yum!)
Serve with warmed Marina Sauce or for a sweet treat, serve with jam, maple syrup or honey.

I Help my siblings with all their kids in the summer in addition to my baby-So I don’t have time for anything else. Your videos are a different ASMR that I’ve ever listened to my entire life and I don’t know what it is, but I still look forward to everything you post! They are relaxing and completely different way than other. ASMR is for me-I actually enjoy watching your videos or having the background as I’m cooking or doing other stuff. That looked delicious I am not a big fan of cottage cheese I actually never ate it. I think it was a texture thing but this recipe I definitely would eat. And it’s so easy to make and I would definitely do marinara sauce as well. For 4 July, I’m very lucky to live on the river between New Jersey and Philadelphia so we have beautiful fireworks show they put on at night so you really could stay at your house or you can go down and sit along the river and it’s really beautiful.🎆🎇 we definitely will be barbecuing of course you know I can’t go out at during the day Ugh 😣 Luckily the fireworks start when it’s dark. The other thing that they have that’s really beautiful is I live near the Riverton yacht club and they have there sailboats out all along the river its truly beautiful sight and its so tranquil to watch. They have the parade here but I have not attended so far. But I’m sure it’s very nice. They have a going down the main street of the town. I cannot believe it’s July already!!!! Where did the time go???? is my question. 🇺🇸🇺🇸Thank you again so much Lindy for this lovely 🎉🎉video when I watch you cook it seems so much easier than when I cook. Because I have a UTI that I discovered Friday and they put me on a sulfa drug can you imagine that withwith Accutane? It’s kicking my a__ butt. This too shall pass. I have Very strong faith the universe will prevail ❤ things will get a whole lot better. It’s ironic how things work out sometimes it was probably my body telling me I needed to rest. I put my pyrex bowls in the dishwasher and all the paint wore off! So now I have white, lead-free pyrex bowls.
Jane, I wonder if it was the hot water or the detergent that caused that?
My paint changed colors when I put mine in the dishwasher, but didn't wear off.

@@Southernladyasmr Probably a combination between the heat of water and the strong detergent I use.
The paint didn't wear off right away. I use my bowls daily so they probably went through a hundred cycles before all the color was gone.

So is cooking with cottage cheese a new thing? it seems like I’ve heard a lot of recipes lately using it that I never really heard before. I’m not really up on cooking trends, but I’ve never baked/ cooked it. Thoughts?
I don't think so, Darren. Cooking with cottage cheese could have made a resurgence, (that I am unaware of) but the cookbook that I refer to is from the 1960's.
It is really tasty though!
