Judge Jennifer Dorow used the back and forth between them as evidence that Brooks' claims that he cannot hear is completely false.

I've been locked up before and can confirm. Prison you learn quickly how to stay quiet and not be such dbag. Watched a few guys take a beating over his style of behavior. No one to save you in there.

Holding in contempt would just delay the trial, any misstep on her part or sign of lack of objectivity and he could and would try to appeal or claim unfair treatment . Not to mention she has to show that Brooks is competent throughout the trial so it’s best not to agitate or antagonize him and complicate matters.

That’s why the judge has put him in the other room and has always took him out of the courtroom so the jury could not see his disgusting behaviour so as not to give the jury a bias opinion of him when they decided his fate.
Because of that, he has no recourse in an appeal due to the judge helping and preserving his rights. They still found him guilty on all 76 counts. I think that adds up to about 500+ years in prison, give or take a decade😂😂😂😂

Seriously! You can tell he really gets to her sometimes. A couple times it seemed as if she was going to cry. I know he would have me so mad I’d be crying 😂 she has the patience that I really wish I had especially with someone talking so crazy to her.

His Mother called 911 after realizing that her son used her SUV to commit mass murder. Dawn Woods does not say her SUV was stolen, only that she thought her son took her vehicle.

He knows he’s screwed up. He withdrew the ‘I’m nuts ‘ defence, after the lawyers did all the work for him. He thought by defending himself he’d find some way of causing a mistrial.
Judge is too clever for him though. He also thinks people wil believe him while not believing others. The photographs and the car problems were supposed to save him, but not taken at face value as he thought.
She then closed his case, after he believed she would give him yet again another chance. She didn’t.
So they are now writing up the juror instructions, or at least were last time I checked.

I'm not sure what if any appeal is going to be. I heard the hearing immediately after the trial ended. He was claiming that he should not have been charged, tried nor convicted or sentenced for the crimes.
Apparently the court did not realize that it was illegal to drive all that to him, when he doesn't understand what the charges against him are for!
Oh that hearing he was wheeled in the court room by deputies in a wheelchair. Bound and locked to the chair!

He deliberately forfeited his right to testify or call witnesses by pretending he couldn't hear. He was never gonna anyway, he just enjoyed the suspense of the possibilities of what might ensue. He is what he is.

You can already see how he's trying to setup the argument on his appeal that he was unable to hear anything going on in the courtroom when he's muted - this judge was very smart to make a record of that, as well as having the IT guy testify on the record that his audio was indeed working. She's done a brilliant job at shutting down any and all ways he could skate on a technicality, and you can see HE knows that by his behavior and frustration. No matter what he does, she never lost her cool and kept it by the book.
Not sure but other prisoners are not in favor of killing children! Like DB killed an 8 year old!

So thankful he has been found GUILTY on all 76 counts. I have been so frustrated by this judges patience, but in hindsight she was amazing. Giving him no occasion for mistrial. Gosh bless and keep her. 🇺🇸

Sadly, The Wisconsin Court of Appeals has to listen to him along with any federal judge under Habeas Corpus. Only The Supreme Court of Wisconsin or The United States can ignore him, which they will most certainly.
@@Zachboy007 Thing is that appeals courts only have to hear verbal arguments for appeal if they do choose. And the only do that if they are there is potential merit in the papers. He isn’t going to file anything they wouldn’t dismiss on the papers. Besides he has requested a public defender for his appeal.

It is tragic how our system works, these people that stay on death row or spending years filing appeals, and all the while getting their degrees, being able to better themselves, all while the innocent victims never got that same opportunity.
It is sick that criminals get their degrees, have TV’s, lift weights, read, get well versed and educated, get medical and meals and able to work and put away money, everything that was denied to the lives of the people they murdered.
One thing he won't have much money. Half of his earnings and commissary goes to the victims families. Also some prisons no longer have have inmate education programs, to expensive. Not sure if Wisconsin allows it.
She's given him way more than enough opportunity to put on his own defense. I'm frankly surprised she hasn't made a declaration that he is not capable of putting on even a modicum of a defense and substituted a public defender. He's doing nothing but hurting his own defense.

Initially he was placed in the Dodge Correctional Facility and I'm solitary confinement. However he filed charges against the guards for harassing him and his mom received a letter from him. The inmates are trying to hurt him by spitting in his food and point his food.

Instead of his mother bowing down to him and teaching him that the world should do so also maybe she should have let him face consequences and deal with his problems on his own. Yet again another mother who has crippled her no good son and made him even worse by bowing down to him instead of standing up to him. What a failure as a mother.

He's been to jail before he knows. What will get him the most is this time he has no chance for freedom ever.

How can he be allowed to act like this when he has murdered 6 people including a child, that alone should remove his rights to act like this in a court of law, he's made a mockery of everything he's done, but his kind act like this all the time.
Judge Dorow should get a commendation for her handling of this crazy case. She also deserves a substantial raise in pay, a case of Dom Perignon and a lengthy vacation of her choice. She, simply ROCKS.

The next time an individual states that they are a "sovern citizen" and do not consent to be in any "contracts" when these guys get pulled over and state they are not driving they are " traveling" I would kindly refer them to this case, and let them know that's not gonna work!!
