  • Waukesha Christmas parade suspect Darrell Brooks is facing life in prison after police say he was the driver of the car that killed six and injure dozens of others when it plowed into the crowd. Brooks, who is representing himself as his own attorney, has confused both the court and witnesses with his line of questioning and objections that don't appear to be based in legal fact.

You are correct there imagine the horrible act of a woman who was sexually assaulted at what 15 years old by an adult.
This young lady is still trying to get above her past. She is not able to be the proper mother to her kids.
DB has a criminal record for 12+ convictions. Still bullying people in his path. Blame everything on everyone else excepts zero responsibility.
Video of him in the SUV plowing through the parade.
Imagine people believing him about that happening and it's the fault of the SUV manufacturer, brakes on the car; people didn't get out of the way when he honks the horn.
Imagine that he is supposed to be believed over the Judge and prosecutors who didn't provide certified copies of proof they are legally in the court room that has been subject matter jurisdiction verified to hold court trial.
ALL of this being believed before the young lady Ericka Patterson.
We are all aware of why his family and couple of friends didn't show up in court room proceedings.
One thing anyone answered different than he wants would be in serious condition.

This guy was the kid we all had in the class who did ANYTHING he could to make sure the attention was always on him. It was beyond just being a class clown, he'd constantly disrupt the class any chance he got, argue and challenge the teacher's authority, make stupid mumbling remarks, create as much noise and distraction at his desk as he could, always shuffle around, and ask for things, need to constantly get up and use the bathroom, or sharpen his pencil, or throw something out, would suddenly start to wander around aimlessly, would throw things, and show up late, torment, harass and annoy other students, tilt his desk, lean back in his chair, and always say he "forgot" or "lost" his paperwork, book, pen or pencil, and needed another one, then when the teacher would try to enforce rules in the classroom, or send him away to the hall, he'd argue back, act defensive, and say "WHAT DID I EVEN DO!" just the way he is doing with the judge right now. I guarantee that is how he acted in school, and it just continued into adulthood. Even his psychical behavior and gestures is that like a obstinate child.

When Law Enforcement Officers testify, they are typically well experienced in testifying. This is typically not their first day in court or the first time on the stand. They have testified enough times to recognize openings and holes.
Mr. Brooks asks a question. This opens the door for them and provides the LEO an opportunity to identify him, yet one more time, to the jury. "The defendant is the perpetrator". Heh. Mr. Brooks, being not-a-lawyer, does not see the danger. The District Attorney sees it, but is extremely unlikely to object to the defendant implicating himself with inane questions.
So he blunders about, and the LEO takes these sly shots.

His sovereign citizen defense isn't a legal defense at all. Rather, it is a tactic by a sociopath to make a mockery of the court of law. His sovereign citizen defense is literally that he can follow some laws and not others, and it is all based on his personal consent. He has said that if he doesn't identify as a living, breathing human being known as Darrel Brooks, so the laws of the state don't apply to him. Yet somehow his constitutional rights, as an entity as a third party intervener in this matter, are being violated. His sovereign citizen defense is beyond ridiculous and is only designed for entertaining purposes, to get the last laugh so to say. The judge should have gaged him, and reappointed a public defender for him when he took his shirt off in the court room. He is only trying to delay and make a mockery of the trial.

I’m watching every single second of this trial live on a different channel. The people who live in this city are the best commentators. It’s unbelievable for most of us how the alleged killer is conducting himself. It’s horrendous, maddening to listen to. I can hardly stand it yet, all those watching feel compelled to do so. Just like serving on a jury, you are witness to a side of humanity you are only grateful you pray you are never a part of.

Even if he walks, its out of the pan and into the fire. I'm sure someone will solve this problem much more efficiently than the government could anyways in that case.
