During 2020 I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, TSH level about 14 (normal value 1 to 4.5) then I started my workout and avoiding all Goitrogens ,multivitamin supplement for a month and also early morning sun exposure to get enough vit D, my thyroid levels become normal( TSH 3.4) I still continue my routine expect multivitamin supplements
I started out with a diagnosis of thyroid hormone resistance when I was 16 because I had an ungodly high amount of t4, approximately 4 times the normal range, yet I looked perfectly fine. Then around 21 my t4 went down and my tsh went shooting up, which meant hypothyroidism which I was later diagnosed, and today at almost 26 my doctor told me my thyroid levels are totally normal which baffled me. I've previously normalized elevated TSH by going vegan & I stayed a vegan for 4 years. But then I decided to start eating meat again & now I'm back to hypothyroidism! My TSH is now 5.6 & I'll be vegan again very soon.

When it comes to hematology, it seems like we're all supposed to eat an individual diet... The best one can do, is to figure out what works for you. There's a lot I would love to eat, but I know how sick some foods will make me & that's enough motivation for me. I've fx reduced nightsweats, inflammation & infection by avoiding sugar, eating low-glycemic etc. When it comes to meat, I can only eat the most delicate meat or I get nausea from meat - if I should eat anything from a cow, it would be the soft, finest & most expensive part from the animals back, due to less muscle tissue. I'd prefer fx wild deer, but I simply can't afford it. I had my blood samples taken earlier, I'm almost back to a vegan diet, except for dinner.

Can anyone help me? I've been exercising and eating healthy for probably 8 months. I've only lost maybe 20 pounds. I weigh 240-245 and am 5'7. I can not for the life of me get below 240. I’m on meds now for it I try and tell them when my thyroid are messed up they never believe me this time I put on over 20lbs I’m so sick of it I was already down to around 800 calories a day now this I’ve never been heavy in my life I Don’t recognize the person I even see. Hey you forgot the symptom that can fool you. It’s,acid reflux. It can be a sign that you have hypothyroid. My mom and I had the same problem. We both experienced acid reflux. After taking Levothyroxine my acid reflux left.

It’s been about 2 year now since I’ve been getting treatment. The fatigue has stopped and the tachycardia has stopped but my hair will not grow normal. Also my acid reflux is not as bad. I do take selenium in the form of Brazil nuts, and tons of supplements. But here is a weird and wonderful way that helped me personally to get off of all thyroid supplements. I was on thyroid glandular. I started doing Reflexology, which for thyroid involved massaging the stems of my big toes. I went from nine tablets a day to no tablets. Then the problem came back! I couldn’t figure out why. Then I started to reflect on what I had done for my thyroid glands. Not just massage, but I had also been briefly using tight flexible toe rings that put pressure on the stem area. One of the toe rings got broken, and I couldn’t find any replacements online. So I just forgot about them as they seemyto be only an afterthought. But then I decided to try that approach again. I put, medium size, thick rubber bands wrapped tightly around the stems of my toes until the color started to change on my toes to a slight blue. (That wasn’t painful and has done me no harm.) Then I would take the rubber bands off. After one day, I no longer needed any thyroid glandular! I wasn’t cold anymore. I wasn’t tired and depressed anymore. Of course I had been praying to know why things had gone from bad to good, and then back to bad again.

So, though the reflexology is working, I’m not taking any chances on soy or any other goitrogens. Saying that iodine overload is dangerous is like saying you can die of cyanide poisoning from eating apples! The RDA on iodine is 150 mcg. However the Japanese people regularly consume 1.5-3.0 mg. That is 1000-2000 x the RDA! T4 has 4 iodine molecules. Also the RDA is the MINIMUM iodine necessary to not get sick, not the amount to maintain health.

Natural thyroid supplement helped me but the kelp caused my hair to fall out way worse than what it was already since I have alopecia areata... I tried lowering the mcg in kelp so my hair won’t fall out, but now it’s not enough kelp that I gained my weight back that I lost on the supplement that has a good amount of kelp. I can’t win for losing, be bald and thinner or fat with hair 😪
Could it be that your having too much selenium? I did and I ended up with alopecia. I stopped my selenium supplements for a few months and my hair is growing back. Too much iodine can have adverse affects on your thyroid.

Hello. I’m new to your channel, and very interested in any information that can help me with my hypothyroidism symptoms, especially difficulty losing weight. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2006. No one in my family has it, or any thyroid problems. I feel it may have been at least partly caused by all of the radiation I was exposed to while having CT scans, and other radiological studies done on my spine. I developed a small nodule on my thyroid, and had hyperthyroidism initially. I take Armour Thyroid because the Levothyroxine doesn’t work on me. I do not eat very much,and exercise every day for my back. I do have difficulty walking so I use a back brace, &/or walker at times. I need to lose weight for my back, and leg health.
Try a low carbohydrate way of eating. I was diagnozed hypo 25 years and could never lose weight. Since switching to low carb my weight has has stayed the same , I initially lost 30lbs. You will have all the energy you need and a sharper mind. You will not get " carbo cravings " because your body will be adapted to use fat for fuel.

During 2020 I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, TSH level about 14 (normal value 1 to 4.5) then I started my workout and avoiding all Goitrogens ,multivitamin supplement for a month and also early morning sun exposure to get enough vit D, my thyroid levels become normal( TSH 3.4) I still continue my routine expect multivitamin supplements

I started out with a diagnosis of thyroid hormone resistance when I was 16 because I had an ungodly high amount of t4, approximately 4 times the normal range, yet I looked perfectly fine. Then around 21 my t4 went down and my tsh went shooting up, which meant hypothyroidism which I was later diagnosed, and today at almost 26 my doctor told me my thyroid levels are totally normal which baffled me. It is possible to heal and fix your thyroid, as I did it myself. It feels like a milestone achievement.

@@drop_t0p_p0rche28 it is possible to do it. For me it was a mix of daily exercise, daily multi vitamins and lots of B12 plus iodine, blood detox teas, and mental relaxation/breathing exercises. It may take a few years maybe a few months but eventually your thyroid should get to normal levels.

I've been on it 15yrs now. After doing a total thyroidectomy I realized a small lump on the left thyroid gland. I've changed my diet. It has decreased to a small size. I took iodine. When it comes to hematology, it seems like we're all supposed to eat an individual diet... The best one can do, is to figure out what works for you.
There's a lot I would love to eat, but I know how sick some foods will make me & that's enough motivation for me. I've fx reduced nightsweats, inflammation & infection by avoiding sugar, eating low-glycemic etc.
When it comes to meat, I can only eat the most delicate meat or I get nausea from meat - if I should eat anything from a cow, it would be the soft, finest & most expensive part from the animals back, due to less muscle tissue. I'd prefer fx wild deer, but I simply can't afford it.

I don't think he did, in some places in Europe they add iodine to sea salt. table salt is only good for cleaning.

Hey you forgot the symptom that can fool you. It’s,acid reflux. It can be a sign that you have hypothyroid. My mom and I had the same problem. We both experienced acid reflux. After taking Levothyroxine my acid reflux left.

It’s been about 2 year now since I’ve been getting treatment. The fatigue has stopped and the tachycardia has stopped but my hair will not grow normal. Also my acid reflux is not as bad. I do take selenium in the form of Brazil nuts, and tons of supplements.
But here is a weird and wonderful way that helped me personally to get off of all thyroid supplements.
I was on thyroid glandular. I started doing Reflexology, which for thyroid involved massaging the stems of my big toes.
I went from nine tablets a day to no tablets.
Then the problem came back! I couldn’t figure out why. Then I started to reflect on what I had done for my thyroid glands. Not just massage, but I had also been briefly using tight flexible toe rings that put pressure on the stem area.
One of the toe rings got broken, and I couldn’t find any replacements online. So I just forgot about them as they seemyto be only an afterthought.
But then I decided to try that approach again. I put, medium size, thick rubber bands wrapped tightly around the stems of my toes until the color started to change on my toes to a slight blue. (That wasn’t painful and has done me no harm.)
Then I would take the rubber bands off. After one day, I no longer needed any thyroid glandular! I wasn’t cold anymore. I wasn’t tired and depressed anymore.
Of course I had been praying to know why things had gone from bad to good, and then back to bad again.

So, though the reflexology is working, I’m not taking any chances on soy or any other goitrogens. And by the way I found out that Quercitin id a goitrogen, which most people don’t include in their list of no nos.

Pickles, the pickle juice and raw spinach leafs just a few pinches of leafs a day. I had a cyst in my thyroid with hypothyroidism and that was my cure in 3 weeks.... I also feel healed. Saying that iodine overload is dangerous is like saying you can die of cyanide poisoning from eating apples! The RDA on iodine is 150 mcg. However the Japanese people regularly consume 1.5-3.0 mg. That is 1000-2000 x the RDA! T4 has 4 iodine molecules. Also the RDA is the MINIMUM iodine necessary to not get sick, not the amount to maintain health.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroid .. with tsh level 125.. then with medication it goes to normal . But after 2 months I test again . Then my tsh level is again 11.5 .. now I'm again using thyroxine..
Natural thyroid supplement helped me but the kelp caused my hair to fall out way worse than what it was already since I have alopecia areata... I tried lowering the mcg in kelp so my hair won’t fall out, but now it’s not enough kelp that I gained my weight back that I lost on the supplement that has a good amount of kelp. I can’t win for losing, be bald and thinner or fat with hair 😪
Could it be that your having too much selenium? I did and I ended up with alopecia. I stopped my selenium supplements for a few months and my hair is growing back. Too much iodine can have adverse affects on your thyroid.

Hello. I’m new to your channel, and very interested in any information that can help me with my hypothyroidism symptoms, especially difficulty losing weight.
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2006. No one in my family has it, or any thyroid problems. I feel it may have been at least partly caused by all of the radiation I was exposed to while having CT scans, and other radiological studies done on my spine. I developed a small nodule on my thyroid, and had hyperthyroidism initially. I take Armour Thyroid because the Levothyroxine doesn’t work on me.
I do not eat very much,and exercise every day for my back. I do have difficulty walking so I use a back brace, &/or walker at times.
I need to lose weight for my back, and leg health.
