i like the kalashtar. very fun race to play with a lot of flavor potential. i made a Drake warden ranger that was a kalashtar. Made it so that the Quori spirit would manifest in physical form as the drake. When not in use it would morph back as a tattoo on his skin and they would talk back in his head again playing off the quirk that they talk to themselves sometimes.
I think that’s cool. I think it explains the Drake warden mechanics better than the Drake warden dose. Also I can’t see a reason why you couldn’t reflavor the appearance of the Drake. I think it’s a cool looking thing to have your tattoo remove from your skin and become corporeal.
I'm playing a Kalashtar Light Cleric (Path of Light) right now and I'm having a blast with him! He loves spicy food (I picture Sarlona as having similarities to our world's India) and was raised quite traditionally in beliefs that mostly are not shared among his fellow people in Karrnath, far away from his ancestors' home (they fled the Inspired a long time ago).
For flavor, when he'll be able to cast Spirit Guardians next level they'll take Quori forms (just like his Spiritual Weapon has the form of a Quori stinger).
We are playing an Inspired / Dreaming Dark campaign in Eberron, so being a Kalashtar played right into my DMs hand (which I did not know before haha).
Oh man that’s so cool !!! I really like the dreaming dark! You must feel like a main character! Which is so much fun.
I really like it when people reflavor their spells and abilities. I do it sometimes, but it seems so great to me when a player takes that much of an interest in there character to do so. It shows that you’re really into your character which reflects well on how interested you are in the story.
I’ve always wanted to play this race. I’ve also seen people make a kalashtar totem barbarian to be resistant to all damage. I personally like the kalashtar ancestral guardian barbarian with their connection with spirits. The advantage on wisdom is amazing for every character.
Yes I believe ancestral barbarian makes the most sense. They really are cool I think all the psionic classes do work. I kinda wish they had like the gith psionics but I am cool with them as is.

you are definitely being called out 🤣😂🤣 nah your not an untrustworthy party member. You don’t do anything to harm the party, you are just a wild card player. If left to your own devices you would creat your own adventure with your unusual pursuits. Which I love by the way
@@TheSinisterheroes i do get into some trouble from time to time. I feel like the action doesn’t stop just because the “camera” is focused on one group.

I personally think this is a very interesting race maybe thematically Psy warrior would be fitting or perhaps soul knife or aberrant mind sorcerer if you want more magic mixed with psyonics
Fun thing, this was my first ever character a kalashtar. Also yes all the psionics work so well here with the kalashtar.
Spirit Bard with some cards and you'll have Yugi Moto. Cartomancer and you could special summon for a bonus action.
