  • Notice: You should not use chrome sockets on impact guns. Also make sure to wear your proper eye protection. Here is a video showing how to replace the control arms on a dodge srt4. This video just shows the passenger side but driver side should be the exact same. Took me an hour filming to do one side so could have been done in 30.

    I already knew how to do this, but I figured to just watch the video anyways lol. See if I learned anything new. I have to replace both front control arms, aswell as the steering rack, and passenger side wheel hub. So I figured why not knock it all out at once 😂

    Do you have the oil cooler lines recirculating with eachother. Since you did the oil cooler delete. Is that safe ? No problems?

    Anything else you recommend I should replace at the same time? I got the moog problem solvers with upgraded spherical bushing.

      I would say to do your tie rods while you're at it since the car will need to be aligned after anyways. Other than that it sounds like you're all set!

    Great video. Just wondering if you have the torque specs for the bolts? Thanks.

    God help you if either of the captive nuts inside the frame come loose when you start to loosen the bolts at the rear of each control arm! ☠️

    What is the EASIEST way to remove BALL JOINT?

    • @FrancescoBarberaMusic
      @FrancescoBarberaMusic 6 лет назад +1

      A press

    • @cirealreviews1776
      @cirealreviews1776 6 лет назад

      Francesco Barbera so just unbolt it where the ball joint is and just use the press to get it out? No removing the vertical or horizontal LCA bolts/bushings?

      If you can get the press in there yeah, but your best bet at that point is to remove the whole arm and press in new bushings too

    Wow there’s literally no vids on how to do trailing arms on a neon. Currently replacing my own and thought, wonder if there’s any vids.... nope.

    bro none of my bolts line up

    • @2ZERO8
      @2ZERO8  6 лет назад +1

      You have to get all the bolts started after getting the ball joint started. Don’t tighten anything down until you have each bolt started. Then snug each bolt then tighten each bolt.
