Bold prediction: Piastri will win his first GP before Norris, but they will both win at least one GP each.

Hey will, I have some predictions fir this year too! Max wins all but 2 or 3 races, Sergio almost gers fired (again) Horner doesn't get fired but reprimanded, Merc, McLaren, and Ferrari falter sadly, Alpine civil war, Sargent disappoints me again, Albon goes hard with multiple top 10s, Haas do Haas shenanigans, Stake get a mid result, VCARB do hardly anything, and I wait for 2026 for maybe a Ferrari or McLaren resurgence.

I'll pop in my memeworthy predictions before yours goes live and we'll see who says the dumbest stuff.
Aston Martin will do poorly, but Alonso will somehow keep it in the points 75% of the time.
Checo Perez will somehow get pole position in qualifying.
Lando Norris will win, only for a race penalty to come along and knock him off, maintaining his horrid curse.
Stroll will get a podium somehow.
Albon will manage a best of P4.
Visa Cash App RB F1 Team will miraculously finish 7th.
Magnussen will win a sprint race, which will result in him knocking up his missus again.
Kick Sauber-Ferrari will surprise everyone by consistently qualfiying in the top 10, only to balls it up come race day.
Verstappen will win the championship, but there will be some sulky drama this year due to... I dunno, Russell.
Zhou Guanyu will get fastest lap in Bahrain, but not get points for it as he'll finish 12th or something.
Tsunoda will surprise everyone by beating Daniel Ricciardo, causing Will to send Tsunoda anthrax in the mail to help Dan keep his seat.

McLaren didn't start 2023 with hope and positivity. They said way before the first race their launch car won't be good because they changed direction and haven't finished their actual 2023 car for the season start.
*My thoughts on your predictions & my own predictions:*
- Yes, Max will be 4x WDC.
- No, Ferrari won't be WCC. That will go to Red Bull. Perez will try like Sainz to give it his best and will have a better season.
- Ferrari will actually struggle this season like last year and finish 4th. Main issue is race strategies, tyre management & pit time.
- During the 2024 season Checo will announce his retirement. He knows he'll be dropped by Red Bull and faces his age.
- Daniel will improve in 2024 with VCARB, alongside Yuki. Daniel will get the 2nd 2025 Red Bull seat. No mid-season shuffles.
- Yes, McLaren will have a strong 2024 season with a fight for 2nd in the WCC. They'll end up 2nd at the end.
- Yes, Lando Norris will get his first win in 2024.
- Yes, VCARB will have a strong 2024 season. This will help Daniel & Yuki in their contract negotiations for 2025.
- Aston Martin will sign Yuki for 2025 and this is a team to look out for with the new regulations with the Honda partnership.
- Liam Lawson & Pierre Gasly will drive for VCARB in 2025. This is a strong line-up and great for both drivers.
- HAAS & Stake will be the backmarkers. Williams, Alpine & VCARB will fight for 6th. Alpine will lose this fight and get 8th.
- Ocon will leave Alpine to partner with Alexander Albon in Williams. They're getting 7th again in 2024.
- Fernando Alonso will get Lewis' seat at Mercedes. Max vs Fernando vs Lewis will be the main talking point for 2025.
- Kevin Magnussen & Logan Sargeant will be dropped at the end of the season.
- Nico Hulkenberg will move to Stake and will work together with Audi like Yuki and Honda.
- Carlos Sainz Jr. & Guanyu Zhou move to Alpine. It's either Alpine or HAAS and it's their best option.
Red Bull: Max Verstappen & Daniel Ricciardo
Mercedes: George Russell & Fernando Alonso
Ferrari: Charles Leclerc & Lewis Hamilton
McLaren: Lando Norris & Oscar Piastri
Aston Martin: Yuki Tsunoda & Lance Stroll
VCARB: Liam Lawson & Pierre Gasly
Williams: Alexander Albon & Esteban Ocon
Alpine: Carlos Sainz Jr. & Guanyu Zhou
Stake: Nico Hulkenberg & Valtteri Bottas
HAAS: 2 rookie drivers, probably Oliver Bearman & Robert Shwartzman

You missed a few things in all that.
Gasly and Ocon moving out will depend on how terrible the Alpeeeeeeen is.
4:11 ‘One that could find the upper reaches of the points’ I doubt that Yuki could reach anything with his size
5:13 Plot twist: Carlos Sainz will take a sabbatical next year and keep himself busy by doing rallies, then join Audi in 2026.
Predictions:
Carlos Sainz WDC, only because it would be the most Ferrari thing to have the designated number 2 you fired take the title.
McLaren WCC, Lando and Oscar are one of the top driver pairs in the field and I don't think developing a good car late in the season is a big disadvantage with frozen rules.
I could see Lando and Yuki get their first wins.
I don't disagree with the Backmarkers, but I'm tempted to put Aston even below Alpine.
They mostly had good early season cars (or possibly ones they just understood while McLaren needs half a season to figure out what they build), but development trough the season was always half-assed at best.
Drivers Market: Mick returns, Hulk finally gets into something competetive and Carlos goes to RB in 2025.
Also, Leclerc wins the first race, seems happy, gets his hopes up just to be crushed by "the usual".
My prediction : 1 race in indycar will have more overtakes than the entire f1 season
We're going to actually have the Chinese GP this year though, aren't we? That track has a lot of overtaking, if I recall correctly.

I like to see Visa Cash App RB/Toro Rosso win a race based on the livery alone. They actually put color on their car.
The shadow on the thumbnail is Max's too so I guess that tells you how the season's going to be 😂

Let's see how this aged at the end of the season.
If you want a bold prediction, here is mine:
Leclerc will win the first and only win at Bahrain while Max later clinching the title at Texas.
Your predictions make sense... For WCC will be 3 teams fighting... Ferrari, Red bull and Mercedes
Id rather think they want a consistent yet expierenced driver in mercedes who isnt putting a fight to Russell, so in my opinion Hulkenberg would be a great candidate.

Ricardo will only get the Redbull call if he performs himself. That is a BIG 'IF'. Otherwise they will reach out to a driver like Albon or even take on Sainz for 2025.
My personal prediction is Red Bull does take both titles again but Ferrari have the best car at the end of the season going into '25 when it's time for the debut of *#Blessed*
The more dominant the car the sooner you can switch focus to next year's car. The new regs can't come quick enough
The intial Bahrain spec of the 2023 McLaren car was basically just the car with a few small tweaks.
The ultimate hopium prediction of the year for me as a lifelong McLaren fan is Piastri WDC right now. Itd blow everything to pieces everywhere. Shame itll never happen

I think Toro Rosso (that’s what I call them) will be the most improved and most impressive team.
Regarding Will's predictions:
-Duh.

-possible but unlikely unless Danny slaughters Yuki
-well yeah, I think they might even improve to above Mercedes

-it's last years red bull, duh.
-Haas and Stake are already backmarkers but I still think Alpine's 2 good drivers will beat Williams' 1
-I don't think Albon will want that seat when Kimi is on a trajectory for it within 2 years.

My predictions:
-Verstappen wdc
-Red Bull wcc but Mclaren / Ferrari will keep it close
-Perez out at year end, to be replaced by Albon, Tsunoda, or Ricciardo
-Kimi Antonelli gets 2nd in F2 and gets Mercedes seat
-Norris finishes 2nd in WDC
-Alpine fall apart behind the scenes, possible shady title sponsor incoming
-Ocon to Williams
-Martins, Martinelli, Bearman, Pourchaire, Lawson, and Drugovich all get F1 seats for 2025.
-Sargeant, Bottas, Zhou, Magnussen, Perez, and Stroll all leave the F1 grid.
Question:
You know everyones liveries change every year, either completely or with the addition or changing of sponsors. How much does that all cost?
All of the headphones, radios, boots, gloves, banners, parasols, gazebos, all the clothes the pit crew wear and everyone else in the team etc.
Is that included in the budget?
Are all the headphones thrown away every year and new ones with the new colour scheme and sponsors dished out?
I'm just confused by all the new up to date stuff the teams have every year and no one talks about it
This could be the start of a new series, the questions no one thought to ask, but creates a lot of thought.

I think team problems will result in a different world champion this year... there's no way RBR can put its team principal through the wringer to this extent and still maintain a coherent team spirit.
Danny Ric cries salty tears into his OnlyFans RB while Sainz signs a deal for the seat at Redbull. Perez fans kidnap Sainz, planning to seal his body into a wall somewhere, but are charmed into adopting him.
Will, I hope you gonna be right with the Ricciardo prediction! I just as much want this to happen, as you mate! Also Alex would be great in the Merc next year:)

Drivers; Max. Constructors: RB but actually needs the second driver for it this year.
Vcarb will be.. I think 6th in the constructors.
Haas will somehow manage not to improve at all if not even go backwards.
McLaren, Merc, Aston, and Ferrari are going to have a really tight fight for most of the year, only for Leclerc, Stroll, and Russel, to make just enough mistakes for McLaren to actually get 2nd.
My big prediction is that Antonelli will either get 1st or 2nd in F2 and will go straight into Mercedes.
Squandered opportunity, one of the vcarbs will reach up and grab points, the other will come up a bit short

Unfortunately about a month ago i made a statement that if sainz won the dakar rally my championship prediction for f1 would be sainz. It didn't seem likely to me at the time but it happened. So i guess sainz for the wdc this year

My dumb predictions
VCARB will get a podium, with Yuki getting a win at some point
Alpine will be second to last in the constructors, only ahead of Haas
Piastri will get a Grand Prix win before Norris
McLaren will get second in the constructors, only behind Red Bull
Stake will be getting more consistent points, roughly P7 in the constructors
Verstappen and Checo will wipe each other out in a race
Red Bull will dominate with a zeropod concept
Stroll will out qualify Alonso once.. probably due to Ocon Alt + F4ing Alonso at Sao Paulo
Most of these are likely not happening but it'll be funny if they do
I basically agree, but I think it will be RB title with Merc right behind them. Riccardo will come in after Perez explodes three races in and do a increasingly good job. Also, Piastri will beat Norris. I swear I'm not Australian...

As long as we’re going out on a limb, I’ll predict that Sergio will score points and Max will score a lot more points. A bold prediction, I know, but I’m sticking with it.

I don't see why Oscar would want to go to Merc. George will be team leader regardless of who gets the 2nd seat, and Kimi Antonelli will be gunning for that 2nd seat for 2026 if not earlier.
@@Slimmeyy I'd argue that Oscar and Lando won't have a great relationship this year because McLaren will start prioritising Lando over him in key decisons. This'll cause Oscar to look for a new team and then Toto will sign him.
And that's a good point, but he'll need some time in F1 before Mercedes (unless they want to throw him in the deep end, but Kimi definitely has the talent for that).

I really think Norris needs his first win next season. If he doesn't it will be like Leclercs record of the most poles without a driver championship.

Prediction: Andretti will continue to be annoyed at F1 and come 2028 F1 will ask Cadillac to join without Andretti but they'll say "fuck you" and no team will come again ever.
I'm going to do the 'anti' predictions ... you know , the highly unlikely :
Newey boned the rb20 design and the car blows up every 10 laps
The drivers championship comes down to sainz vs hamilton where a bad call from ferrari accidentally makes sainz world champion
Mercedes get constructor champion because nobody really wants them to
Danny ric stays at visa tik tok and is the highest finishing red bull driver in the standings (yeah I'm a Ric fan too 😅 )
Alonzo retires because he doesn't like the 24 race format , stroll sells his share of the team to andretti and logan sargent gets lances seat
Stake f1 have as memorable year as 23 (did they even race last year in their final year of alpha romeo?)
Alpine actually gets their sh*t together and becomes a reliable team instead of a meme
Lando still doesn't get a win under his belt , but piastri does
Piastri goes to merc and causes arguements between merc and mclaren
Albon to audi in 25

i’ll agree with everything..except ferrari winning the wcc. i want it to happen SO bad, but with the current infrastructure of the team (not counting the drivers) i just don’t see it happening until 2026 and beyond

Interesting my guess at first was Albon to Alpine and whichever one of those two does best to Merc. But if Will's on the money, that would be Albon downgrading...

I think my boldest prediction is that ferrari will have one race with no strategy mess ups.

The biggest mistake I’ve seen all f1 RUclipsrs make is think that Danny will beat Yuki and get that redbull seat. Why have pretty much all the f1 RUclipsrs underestimated Yuki?
Sorry @FP1Will ricardo isnt getting that RB seat, it will be yuki. Lawson has more to learn from ricardo then yuki. At least thats what i would do. If Rb gets this year WCC then i hope ALbon gets to Merc and distroy Russel in points, would be so wonderfull

My bold prediction is that Haas will bring a Monza spec rear wing this year
Yay. Guessed you'd go for the most famous pit lane strategy team as the constructor's champion. I think you've mainly gone for the safe options. Hmm. How about Max beats the 10 victories in a row record and gets 20 victories in one year and Red Bull becomes the first team to get a 100% victory rate. Also Checo completes the season at Red Bull.
He'll only need to win the first 4 races to beat his own record again.
Lando & Oscar will both win races this year
I’d say predictions #2 & #3 to be quite bold. Here’s to hoping you’re onto something, instead of just possibly on something.
