Why Valtteri's Future is at stake: ruclips.net/video/V9uegcisXa4/видео.html
I think Perez deserve a better car and team then the Stake F1 Team (Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber 🤢)
@@ecny29 (I more prefer Sauber F1® Team Kick Stake) 😅
Checo has never shown that he is someone who can lead car development, same with Hulk.. I don't think we will see them move forward with all the good Rookies waiting and Piastri showing you can find a rookie that can deliver.. IF audi is smart they will build on the future talent
Perez will never get Stake
brush properly your teethes are very yellow and looks dirty
Tbh i think Sargent keeping his seat is a bolder prediction than Mick getting that Alpine seat.
I reckon Logan will do a good enough job and the other Williams drivers will need another year in F2. As for Antonelli, Toto will insist on two seasons in F2 as well UNLESS he wins the title on the first outing.
@@LawVS my prediction is that Logan is a lot less crash-y than last year without really getting faster, therefore securing a seat for next year. Then being booted at the end of next year. The classic 3 season cycle.
Mick is in Wec for this year.
@@LawVSI think that mick will be on loan to Alpine until Lewis retires, where he then goes to Mercedes to partner George.
What's your point here? This is a 2025 prediction. Mick is in WEC for 2024.@@nenadn4555
Also, on the Audi lineup Checo has said before that Hulk is one of the best drivers he loves to be teamate with.
Which is why I reckon he will probably get his agent into early talks with Sauber and I bet Nico's already had a chat with Seidl.
Watching this video after Lewis moving to Ferrari for 2025 is gold😂
Love your content btw!
Yeah the Mercedes/Ferrari part already aged terribly. Let’s see how the other ones age
I like the idea of Mick getting the Alpine seat. I do think he deserves another chance given his performances in Haas, although very inconsistant he had some great peaks and really closed the gap to Kmag. His time in the sim and such hopefully has helped him make less mistakes, and giving Mick a more competent team i think will help him prove his worth
I feel like I’m less harsh on mick for haas because it was haas. They were not set up to help rookies.
@@theshovl3rindeed not the kid has pace and it's why Ferrari signed Ollie as a reverse so he can test in their cars not haas I doubt Ferrari is really gonna use haas
I'm getting strong "Kimi Raikkonen" vibes from Oscar Piastri. Kimi's second year for McLaren made him a championship contender lol. Good omens. 😁
If he has a drincc incident, that's when I'll know he's winning a title
Agreed. Guy is fearless
Adrian Newey made him a contender. The awful Merc engine reliability ended that contention. When he finally got that reliability at Ferrari, so did McLaren, but thank god for Kimi a
FA and LH took so many points off each other.
Yuki and Alonso has been my dream combo for a while. If Yuki has a mentor like Fernando, he could be championship potential
Yep. Yuki said Fernando was his hero.
Short kings fr fr
There's a fair chance of that happening.
Zhou aswell
And i mean understandably so since they grew up when he was winning.
And it seems from interviews that Fernando has a good relationship with both so i think it would be pretty cool to see him Partner one of them.
Also thinking about both, it would have been pretty cool to get a new Team based in East Asia and they would take both of them as drivers, would be kinda fire ngl
It took two weeks for this to be wrong, quite impressive tbh.
I didn't expect to be 100% right...but I doubt ANYBODY had Lewis to Ferrari on their bingo card.
I'll make a Norris prediction regarding his first win: It won't be satisfactory.
It would be something like him getting promoted to 1st place, because the leader had a penalty or something.
I know it's very specific, but considering Norris has had quite a lot of heartbreaks, his first race win might not be satisfactory (I'm no Norris hater btw).
Perhaps. But a win is a win.
Sometimes it takes "outside assistance" to open the floodgates. I don't know if you're old enough to have watched Mika Hakkinen's career, but he's typical of that type (the same can be said about Marc Marquez in Moto GP - in the 125/GP3 class. I can't remember which it was anymore!). So close to winning on numerous occasions, but something would always go wrong. Crash, breakdown, get taken out... It was only in the last race in '97 when Villeneuve's car was damaged so much that he couldn't stay in front, and Coulthard was told to get out of the way, that he won. After that he won two championships on the bounce.
His story is far from being alone. It's no guarantee (cf Alesi) but I'm sure Lando will take it however it comes!
@@LawVS If a win is a win then you might as well close this channel 😆
I think Norris will win eventually and it’ll be satisfying for him. He will establish himself as the one driver who can truly challenge Max in current era. As for overcoming Max, I doubt it will happen.
@@y_fam_goeglydSadly I wasn't even born during Hakkinen's career. I was born when Alonso got his first title.
And after reading what you've said, Norris might do better later on.
Ok, I like when you mention the pressure for Yuki at RB and say it will be ramped up to 11 you showed Checo, who happens to run number 11? Well done. The rest, not bad. I'll miss VB.
Huh. I didn't notice that.
Tbh, I really think Daniel Ricciardo will be the one who replaces Checo, think about how much more fans Redbull will gain. I also think Checo will probably retire after this season. What do you think Law?
I can see what you mean. It'll be what Red Bull did in 2021, them gaining tons of Checo fans.
Yes, there’s absolutely zero chance Ric is at AT in 2025. If he doesn’t get the RBR seat, it’s much more likely he goes somewhere else or leaves F1 altogether. The RBR family loves Daniel, Max likes Daniel, Australia, America and sponsors love Daniel. So, unless Yuki drives like the next Senna, there’s zero chance he’s getting that RBR drive at the expense of Ricciardo.
Checo has talked abt retirement, but he alr stated he wouldn’t be here if he didn’t think he would do any good
I think RB will take whoever performs better at Toro Rosso this year. If Ricciardo is better they take him and if Yuki does better they take him… But if Yuki outperforms Ricciardo i would also question whether Ricciardo stays… maybe just as sort of a team leader until Lawson has had some more experience
@charliresendiz8932 checo said he will only drive for a top team. If he can't get a seat in one of those teams, he prefers to retire
F1 25 Driver Predictions:

Merc: Russy, Alonso
Ferrari: Leclerc, Hamilton
McLareno: Norris, Pastry
AMR: Strollie, Drugo
Alpino: Ohkon, Gasly

Willy: Albono, Sarge(if he crashes again, Vesti/Kimi will replace SAR)
Stake: Bottas, Sainz
HASS: Bear, Hulk

Thank you! I'm just glad to share my love for the sport with folks.
I think Zhou to Haas is a big possibility if he's not retained by Stake. He's experienced now and Haas will want that bag.
From the cash point of view? Probably. But Haas don't seem to be particularly good at securing more cash; having supposedly botched the Alfa Romeo plum.
Not really sure an American team will hire a Chinese driver.
@@Loki-sk7bi Haas isn't the American team you think it is. It litteraly had a Russian flag on 4 wheels on 2021.
Seeing this after the Hamilton switch is hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The best kind of comedy we've got going right here!
Checo and Nico at Sauber eh? You know, my money is on Checo retiring after his RB contract ends (I don't expect him to keep the seat) but if that ends up being the Sauber 2025 lineup, I'll suddenly be a Sauber fan! XD
He could possibly retire, yeah; but I also see him going full circle and finishing off with the team that hired him in the first place.
I think that is possible, likely even. When he signed his last Force India contract he said if his next move isn't to a top seat he is going to retire, if he still feels that way he will need a lot of confidence in the Audi project to go there.
For the record I don't think Mick is a bad driver at all and deserved another shot at Haas. But seriously predicting that he would replace Ocon???
I know, it's ballsy but I am prepared to climb that hill.
Great video keep it up you're doing amazing things 😁👍
I think people are sleeping a lot on Mick and Hulk.
Mick has a serious chance of getting back at F1 with Alpine, specially now that WEC has a tremendous amount of competitive teams. And most importantly, Alpine could use the good press.
Hulknenberg is maybe the safest bet you can make if you want a solid driver, and if tou pair him with Sergio, they'll get the best of each other. Perez has stated before that he considers Nico his greatest rival as they raced together ever since junior categories.
I do see Mick coming back but I bet he will have a good time working with the Alpine crew and probably endear himself to Famin since endurance is where Bruno cut his teeth with Peugeot.
Can't wait to see how you predications turn out.
I also don't see Bottas in F1 from '25 onwards, but I'd love for him to slot somewhere into WEC Hypercar
I reckon he's gonna go into cycling.
I'd say Bottas at Williams with Albon would make sense. And I don't see Haas completely impossible either, seems more reasonable to me than Ocon going to Haas.
@Sepi-bx5qd I think if Bottas doesn't stay with Audi then Ocon has a shot there, don't see Ocon in Haas
I don't see how Ocon is ending up in Haas? His performance was on par with Gasly from what I can remember so I don't see why Alpine won't renew the contract of a French driver and I don't know why Ocon would willingly go to a team that's guaranteed to be a back marker.
It all comes down to team harmony. Alpine are looking to remove as much discord and division as possible and Esteban's attitude can stink badly at times. Is that something Alpine can be bothered with for the long term to warrant a new contract?
@@LawVS Sure that is something negative about Ocon, but it doesn't seem to effect Alpine at the moment since they were nowhere near the team ahead or behind them in the points last year. His attitude can certainly become a problem if they suddenly need teamwork from him, but then I don't know if Alpine is going to be in a position like that anytime soon. Maybe we'll know once this year's car comes out.
I'm really expectant to see McLaren this year. I like Nando, but Piastri had really impressed me, specially with the maturity he seems to have. Level-headed, methodic.. If you hear his comms to the team without context, I'd probably never guess he's an F1 driver. He's just.. Calm.
I reckon those two will be feisty and McLaren will keep a lid on their rivalry.
I am so exited for Ollie Bearman and Liam Lawson 🏁🏁
I don't see Ricciardo staying at AT if he doesnt get promoted to RedBull
Agreed. Ricciardo probably retires for good after 2024 if he doesn't get the RB seat. I think Ricciardo is most likely to be in that 2nd RB seat in 2025, but not more than a season or two.
Tsunoda likely will be at Aston in 2025. Stroll will likely move to hyper cars/WEC, which will be stated as his own decision. But Honda will push behind the scenes and Aston's new share holders will want better results from the 2nd seat. I don't think Stroll will be terrible in 2024 but won't make a convincing case to keep that seat any longer, especially with Honda and new investors lobbying for a driver upgrade next to Fernando.
I reckon he might stay if the AT05/6 are good.
Might need a updated version of this since this was before Lewis Ferrari news and red bull drama
Love the entertaining content! Braincules.
I totally agree that there is a high possibility of Mick becoming a driver for Alpine in 2025. Besides the reasons you mentioned, I'm sure Toto has his own reasons for allowing Mick to be a WEC Alpine driver (it could even be Toto's idea). Toto likes Mick a lot, but the Mercedes seat won't be vacant in a short time, if Mick can become a driver for Alpine F1 (and gain a lot of experience there) then he will be a very strong candidate to replace Hamilton when he retires or resigns from Mercedes.
Oh yeah. Toto views this WEC appointment as great training for racing hard and it's extra PR.
I don't see any realistic way that Mick drives for Mercedes. Lewis will be there until at least 2025, George is still young, by that point Antonelli would most likely have had a season.
There are so many things that would need to happen for him to get the seat. Lewis retires, George stays in his slump, Antonelli either starts really struggling or they find no seat for him to start out (That is probably the most likely thing in this list), Mick would need a one year contract at Alpine or Mercedes line up a one year deal with someone else, Mick proves himself so well in that one year that they think he is a better bet than Antonelli.
LawVS, I wanna ask you if it’s possible to do a video about Gabriel Bortoleto. Because he is a pretty good driver on the McLaren driver academy
Maybe I could do a video on the McLaren driver program and see what's what
@@LawVSoki (:
I think people are seriously overplaying how much Audi want a German driver. Merc haven't had a German driver since Nico quit. Ferrari haven't had an Italian driver since Badoer and Fisichella subbed in for Massa in 2009, and there hasn't been a full time Italian there for donkeys years. I don't see Audi being more motivated to get a German in than either of those teams are to get a driver with the "right" nationality in.
Mercedes still had an all-German lineup when they started in 2010 their modern era. I seriously believe that Audi would do this since they're trying to get the German F1 audience back on board since there's been not much to get excited about since Hockenheim disappeared.
This aged well re Ferrari & Merc! I reckon Lewis waited till everyone made their 2025 predictions before he announced it.
Oh yeah...I might have to redo it.
As a very big fan of Mick, i really hope our shared prediction comes true:)
I think Yuki is going to do a great job at Red Bull. Yuki got guts and not afraid to speak his mind. On top of that the kid is damned fast. I really hope they will give him a chance
I think Max would be welcome for the challenge. He knows Yuki isn't good as him but he would be feisty and give it his all. Christian likes that kind of driver.
Absolutely no one should wish a year away but I can’t wait to see the debrief on this one in a years time 😁
It seems the predictions are starting around about now.
My F1 2025 Driver Predictions
Red Bull: Verstappen Ricciardo/Tsuonda
Mercedes: Hamilton Russell
Ferrari: Leclerc Sainz
McLaren: Norris Piastri
Aston Martin: Alonso/Drugovich Perez
Alpine: Gasly Doohan
Williams: Albon Sargeant
AlphaTauri: Tsuonda/Riccardo Lawson
Stake: Zhou Pourchaire
Haas: Hulkenberg Bearman
Andretti: Herta/Iwasa Bottas
I think Mick will still be in WEC,Ocon will be in Formula E
I’m surprised at no mention of Theo Pouchaire🤔 If he’s Super Formula season is really good then he may just be a factor👌🏽
Oh of course he would. However, Audi's stake in Sauber is growing and by 2025 it will have a majority of the team; in turn swaying the direction of the lineup which might mean Theo doesn't get a look in. 2024 was kinda his only chance to get in with the Sauber Academy and Zhou's backing won out.
The fact that Yuki actually want the 11 number but Checo already has it so he went for 22. Will be poetic if he gets the RB seat and gets 11 back (considering if Checo will retire but unlikely)
I don't think you can change your number once you pick one. Charles wanted 7 originally.
Haas - yea that’s believable
Sauber - not sure, what about Pourchere?
Racing Bulls - seems about right
Williams - not sure about Logan, it will really depend on 2024
Alpine - I think that sounds right.
Aston - maybe Yuki or Drugovich replaces Lance as Lance spearheads Aston’s WEC program. I like that idea.
McLaren - they’d be stupid to loose either of those drivers
Ferrari - getting rid of Sainz would be a mistake, but there are many other options potentially.
Mercedes - for 2025, yes I think the lineup will be the same. Who knows about 2026 and Russel wanting to move away and not be a second driver.
Red Bull- I like Yuki and Max, though they might take a risk with someone else, not sure who.
I reckon that Audi's influence will be big enough in the background to think to 2026 and a smooth transition into full Audi control. I think Theo has missed the boat, sadly.
@@LawVS Unless perhaps Alpine decide to keep Mick in Hyper cars and take the gamble on a frustrated Theo to keep the all French driver line up a thing.
Imagine Daniel Riccardo, after leaving just a year or 2 before they got competitive again, works all the way back to Red Bull only for them to screw up 2026. Fernando level career moves
Pretty much! Right team, wrong time.
Are there any F3 rising stars to keep an eye on for emerging seasons, or will big players in the future game be mainly in the belt of current F2/ F1reserve drivers?
I haven't noticed yet but I'll pay attention as the season progresses.
I haven't noticed yet but I'll keep an eye out over the year.
Hey! The alpine car launch is on my birthday that's a good birthday present
Neat!
Apparently Alpine could lose both ocon and gasly due to the merry go round of staff so this could be a wild change
I feel like if Gasly (Well Ocon as well) don't leave Alpine real soon they will risk getting just as stuck in the midfield as Alpine is. They already have a really small chance of getting a seat in a top team so unless they get out and enable themselves to show their talent or get an Audi seat (And Audi does well) it just seems like they are going to get lost.
I doubt they would remove Pierre. He's come in at the right time and I reckon he's a breath of fresh air. Esteban seems more likely to be gone since he has been part of the furniture for ages.
@@LawVSI don't know, he's kind of Alpines golden boy, Gasly was their third choice for 2023
Oscar Piastri could be one of the most over-hyped F1 drivers after his rookie season. Don't misunderstand me, he's a good driver and he had a good year. But there was maybe 3 or 4 races where Oscar had similar pace to Lando, and in each of those races Norris had much better race pace. Piastri will be a future star, but Norris is a star.
I see your thinking and this is true. 2024 won't be the season where Oscar goes on to fight for the title. 2024 will be the year where he can take what he's learnt from 2023 and evolve it. He will be closer to Lando, but he won't best him until MAYBE the end of the year if he can grow just as quick as he did in his rookie season. Lando's got the edge for the moment.
@MrBayconR I agree with you. I think there’s way too much hype. I really like OP and he’s going to be great, but I don’t think for a second we’ve seen the best from LN yet. Lando said himself it took until this past season for him to feel like he got a handle on tire and race management so I don’t think OP can make up the deficit we saw in 2023 to LN in this area all in one season. Long term I think these two will be very evenly matched and both championship winning caliber…good news for McLaren!
Ohhhhhhhhh, Yuki Tsunoda! He will prove you wrong, he will cook!
My 2025 lineup prediction:
Red Bull - Verstappen & Sainz
Mercedes - Hamilton & Russell
Ferrari: Leclerc & Albon
McLaren - Norris & Piastri
Aston Martin - Alonso & Stroll/Drugovich
Alpine - Gasly & Martins
Williams - Antonelli & Bottas
Visa Cash App (AlphaTauri) - Lawson & Tsunoda/Ricciardo
Stake (Sauber/Alfa Romeo) - Hulkenberg & Ocon
Haas - Bearman & Drugovich/Sargeant
This is a cool spot hrt reference 😎
before i watched it even: this is gonna be interesting
If your AT lineup is accurate, they’d better be sponsored by the Thunder from Down Under
Great video as usual however a few things that i noted about mick.
First i find it very unlikely that alpine will not renew ocons contract. Say what you will about his attitude, hes proven to be at worst a very solid driver so if ocon leaves it will probably be out of his own want especially as alpine are doing very well in france with the whole french duo at a french team. As much as i like mick hes not there.
Second, if alpine do get ocon out of the way they will want to get a junior driver in, the piastri incident stings and its unlikely theyll forget it. It will probably be martins and what we saw from Mick was fast but unreliable so why not bring up a fast junior driver that you support ?
I understand your take on this and I respect that. Yes, Ocon is a solid driver but I reckon Alpine are probably looking for a complete refresh of their image and a show of their commitment to utterly redeem themselves and remove their image of division. Ocon is a divisive character and he's had five seasons with the team. He might do enough to stay for 2025, but if he ends up causing more crashes and bad press whilst Mick over in WEC aids his car to impressive results with glowing marks from the bosses there; it will be a compelling case.
Ocon can deliver big results on occasion but crashes a bit too often, and too many anonymous weekends. Alpine gave him that big extension but he has under delivered to some extent. Not a terrible driver but his flinty personality (and sometimes too sharp elbows on track when battling his teammate) is likely something Alpine is going to move on from. Ocon to Haas looks like a good mutual fit for 2025.
As for Mick, I could see him slot into a midfield car in 2025. He will have had some WEC experience, more time in the Sim at Merc, maybe some FP1 outings this season to show he can pilot a car competently. Alpine would like the Schumacher legacy and sponsors who would probably come along with Mick. No disrespect to Doohan and whoever else is in Alpine academy - Alpine could always work a deal with Williams or Haas to give one of their juniors a couple of seasons experience (as they attempted to do with Piastri). Alpine has a bit of Haas in them, they don't seem to deal well with junior drivers.
Alpine clearly want to keep Ocon, but Ocon has said he has doubts in the team and expects them to get slower this year, so if he gets a chance elsewhere I see him taking it over alpine
"F1 T-bone steak team" 🤣 I love the crazy names people have come up with for the Stake team xD
my theory on kimi has been 3 years in f2 to come in for the 2027 season. a year to adjust to f2, and 2 years to really give it a go
That's fair. I reckon he will be in for the new regulations for 2026.
Bearman is THE F2 driver from last year I am keeping my eye on, he shows great potential up till now.
Daniel doesn't seem good enough for RB and I fear he won't ever become good enough again, a shame cause as a person he might be the most fun of all the drivers.
Really don't see Sargeant keeping his seat again with so many better drivers without a seat.
Drugovich is the driver I see having a seat in 2025 as well, if AM doesn't give him one, I think he will walk and I think he is one of the best drivers not having a seat and a lot better than many who have, so he will be snatched up.
Yuki will not last next to Max, but neither would Daniel I think, the fact that Checo is obeying team orders no matter what and did survive next to Max might actually make him the best candidate in 2025 (depending on his actions in 2024 of course) before they get new rules and a new driver in 2026.
I think he's being clever with getting into bed with Haas to ensure the close relationship with Ferrari that Gene adores.
I think this
Red Bull: Verstappen, Ricciardo
Ferrari: Leclerc, Sainz
Mercedes: Hamilton, Russell
McLaren: Norris, Piastri
Alpine: Ocon, Gasly
Aston Martin: Albon, Hülkenberg
Williams: Miyata, Vesti
AlphaTauri: Iwasa, Lawson
Stake: Zhou, Pourchaire
Haas: Bearman, Doohan
Andretti 🤞: Sargeant, Kirkwood
I wonder how much influence Sainz Sr. could have in securing a seat at Audi for Carlos Sainz Jr.
I doubt not that much. I can't see Carlos Sr getting in the way of his son's destiny.
@@LawVS if he's sick of being the 2nd seat at Ferrari then the no.1 seat at Audi might be enticing.
Interesting. I think that checo will retire if he doesn't get that RB seat (which i think is inevitable).
I would like to see Doohan get that alpine seat next to Gasly while Mick goes to Sauber/Audi alongside Nico (although not sure it will happen with the likes of Pourchaire waiting too).
And I can't see Sargeant staying if he doesn't make some big improvements this season. I suspect that Antonelli or even Drugovich may end up at Williams if Papa Stroll decides to keep his son in the team.
That's a consideration, but I think the allure of the Audi era might be tempting to give him a couple more years in F1 alongside his favourite teammate.
If haas get ollie i think they need to focus on him and essentially throw away the second seat.
I doubt they will. I reckon they'll do the Alphatauri model.
My Russell fan heart is crying at the thought of Hamilton staying longer because there's no way they will preference George over the 7 time champion at Mercedes
If I were George I would help Lewis get the 8th championship because the sooner he gets that the sooner he retires.
I reckon George will leave if Lewis extends again. Maybe a driver swap with Lando.
@@rexthewolf3149 not too bad of an idea
@@LawVS I hope that some good team would be willing to pick him up, cant have his champion potentional being wasted like it was in the W13 and W14

Mick in Alpine? Me likey!
It's a little bit of a roundabout way of doing it but I will do my best to manifest it into reality.
Law this is way too logical for silly season lol. I cannot wait to see how you do when all the seats are confirmed
I'm sad that Pietro Fitipaldi isn't even a choice on Haas, even if he won f2 and is their current reserve driver.
Yeah. I think he'll be their reserve forever.
Alpine are going to be in a spot of bother if Mick does do well in WEC. I may be biassed as an Aussie but I think the second half of last year Jack proved he has the talent to step up and Victor would have to be a favourite to win F2 this year. They are going to have to pick one of the three to back and probably let the other two try their luck with another team. Again it may be my bias but I agree with you on the McLaren drivers. If Oscar does beat Lando to a GP win or even just generally outperforms him in the first few races I'm not sure Lando will cope. Alternatively, if Lando can get that first win and it is on merit rather than half the field crashing out he could go on to great things. As for Yuki at Red Bull, well that would require some very impressive drives this year. I'm not convinced Red Bull see him in their long term future. But maybe they don't want Max's partner to be a long term driver anyway. Would be interesting to see him in the Red Bull though because if he were to win a race I am pretty sure he would be the first Japanese winner.
I understand Alpine are lining Jack up to partner either Pierre or Esteban; but Alpine have a history of over looking their own youngsters. I feel bad for Jack, I really do.
Hear ye! Hear Ye! The man has climbed the ladder
Liam Lawson I should take at RBR. He impressed me so much!
He really deserves a full race seat.
for me it will be like this for 2025
mclaren, merc, ferrari, aston, will stick to same driver in 2025 contract or extend (already strong lineup)
haas most likely stay the same unless some massive change happen (andretti) and (kmag hulk are good lineup already not perfect but good enough)
red bull and racing bull could change driver between perez and ricciardo, for tsunoda will stay until 2026 to aston possibly and perez move/retire (if ricciardo perform equal or better than tsunoda and perez underperforming badly)
alpine will stay unless gasly and ocon become a liability for the team conflict could be replaced by mick
williams could stay the same if sargeant perform (consistent) and for albon stay because the first point
sauber/kick/stake both driver have a possibility to be replaced but unlikely condering bottas and zhou perform decently if there is a change pourchaire could be a good replacement
I do think the silly season won't be as silly in the end with most teams playing it safe.
@@LawVS looks great and sad at the same time because it shows the quality of current grid is great but that also mean no available seat for newer driver for F2 making their only option is to go to indycar/wec/formula e
My Predictions
RB: Max and Tsunoda
Merc : Ham and Rus
Ferrari: Lec and Sainz
Mclaren: Nor and Piastri
AM: Alonso and Albono (not stroll shock)
Alpine: Gas and Ocon
Williams: Logang and Kimi Antonelli (If he does well in F2)
AT?: Lawson and DR
Sauber/Audi/Steak?: Hulk And Perez (Force India feels)
Haas: Bearman and Zhou
Hulkenburg Perez at Audi is a great shout
Thanks! They're both experienced, have worked together before and the mechanics (or at least some of them) will remember them both fondly.
Antonelli in F2 with new cars and in a Prema, it’s a good recipe to for him to shock the world and go 5/5 in juniors 👀👀
Oh he stands a good chance to get a win or two.
I cannot see Piastri beating Norris over a season. Norris has too much race craft and just as much speed. Last year was a bad season for Lando on the consistency front , some caused by the team and not him, and yet he still beat Oscar by over 100 points and had his most successful season. I see 2024 Lando is back to his consistent best and that bodes badly for Oscar. Its clear that Zak regards him as the team leader.
I think it'll be close but Norris will edge him...wait.
What about Vesti? Wouldve expected a mention of him.
I reckon he's out of the running since he's headed toward European LMS for 2024.
I think there are at least two big driver lock-ins. Mick Schumacher to Audi seems almost destine and Daniel to Red Bull.
I doubt Christian Horner and team did all that work with Daniel just to leave him in the second team they have plans for him.
Yuki will probably get shifted to wherever Honda is or kept waiting still.
Not even going to try to predict Alpine because anything could end up there at the moment, but you would favor a European driver.
I reckon Mick going to Audi is a last resort sort of thing and that Toto will do everything to make it work if Alpine don't take the bait.
Can you put LEWIS HAMILTON ON Ferrari
Masako sure has a great sense of humor :D How about the next video with the actual list? :)
No joshing here. ;)
@@LawVS 😏
Some pretty bold but clever predictions - until the last one. He's not near enough to the top shelf to take the hardest seat of them all, not with his track record of emotional breakdown. I say this without any baggage like wanting Daniel to return to the fold or Liam to be given the miracle pass. Come on, the guy doesn't deliver when the heat is on and would be the worst pick for the seat. If you want to grab a wild card for RB #2 then try Sainz - he's not contracted and is mentally strong and pretty quick without being a threat to Max - good team chemistry there!
I know, I got a little frisky with that one.
Zhou not even mentioned 😭😭
I reckon he might have a chance at Haas if they need cash but I bet the Ferrari affiliation will win out with Bearman.
Mine is LawVS works for Williams to annoy Haas
Kimi Antonelli needs to take his time, especially if he was already rushed to F2. Drivers have complained and the FIA has acknowledged that the gap from F2 to F1 is much larger than it used to be. F1 cars have more technical variables for the drivers to be aware of while driving and the speeds and cornering is much faster. Either F2 needs to up its technical regulations to get it closer to F1 or the drivers need way more time behind the wheel of an F1 car before joining the grid.
I'm glad the new F2 cars are here so we can get more relevant baselines.
Mine is
Hass Ollie Bearman Esteban Ocon
Sauber Zhou Guanyu Nico Hulk
Williams Alex Albon Mick Schumacher
Alpine Pierre Gasly Jack Doohan
Aston Martin Fernando Alonso Lance Stroll
McLaren Lando Norris Oscar Piastri
Ferrari Charles Leclerc Carlos Sainz
Mercedes Georges Russel Lewis Hamilton
Alpha Tauri Daniel Riccardo Liam Lawson
Red Bull Max Verstappen Yuki Tsunoda
With a mid season swap between Yuki and Daniel if Daniel isn’t performing
I think Alex is going to be even better in 2024 and if the top 5 team are as good as 2023, points wont be an easy thing and I could see Logan score no more than 5 points all season
Hope Alpine will promote someone from his young driver academy otherwise could see Sergio Perez take the second seat
This video aged well lol
All of them aged well
thank you, dude...it's kind of science fiction but it's funny to watch
But yes, I agree Perez / Hukenberg would be a great lineup for Audi
You're welcome!
Would Pourchaire be a good scenario for Alpine?
POSSIBLY. I seriously hope that Theo is looking outside of Sauber/Audi for a seat. Alpine could be an option but it's unlikely.
And I'm still waiting for Lord Mahaveer to finally get his golden chance in F1. 😂
Good take on Stroll, he's not as bad as people make him out to be.
He isn't the worst driver out there, but he is a driver slowly getting out of his depth.
I think Liam Lawson will be the one to replace Checo. I have been a Red Bull Fan for 7 years, and they like to take chances on young talent and Liam shows big promises just like Oscar with McLaren
Interesting...Liam getting the plum over Yuki? Well if that happened, I reckon then Tsunoda will break bread with Aston then.
You got it right with Red Bull and racing bull 🐂
All predictions seem reasoneble enough being predictions. However Schumacher at Alpine F1? The top brass of Apine is replaced so handling of talents might be different.
I don't see Riccardo at Red Bull anymore. Probally Lawson in '26.
It's a bit of a long shot with Mick but I'm prepared to fall on that hill.
@@LawVS
Predictions are predictions, just a little banter subject.
I really cant see Yuki in Red Bull. That seat is Daniels already. No matter what Horner might say about Checos chances
I DO agree that the seat is Daniel's to lose; but I reckon Yuki's got a better chance than he did 6 months ago.
Controversial opinion, I think a lot more drivers get pushed out of F1 in 2025 than we realize. My predictions:
RB : Max / Daniel
Merc : Hamilton / Russell
Ferrari : Leclerc / (Better of Norris or Piastri if they beat McLaren; Gasly if they don't)
McLaren: Norris / Piastri - Albon or Palou if 1 leaves
AM : Alonso / Drugovitch (Stroll "retires")
Audi : Sainz / Pourchaire
AT : Lawson / KMag, Checo, Yuki, Bottas, or Iwasa
Williams: Albon or Ocon & the better of Vesti or Antonelli
Andretti ("Haas"): Bearman / Hulk
Alpine: Gasly or Ocon / Doohan
I predict that Stroll, Sargeant, and Zhou are done, with only one of KMag, Yuki, Checo, or Bottas being on the grid.
I should add, based on the Honda ties, I also see an avenue where Yuki ends up in the Aston seat over Drugovitch
2024 title prediction:
Max, Lando fight it out throughout the year. Oscar is close behind them, and miraculously clinches it at the end, like Kimi in 2008.
I hope Lando can step up and be a compelling challenger, improve his mental fortitude. As for Oscar, I'd love for him to have a season like Kimi had in 2002 where he showed his balls (such as going full chat through a smokescreen on the Kemmel Straight at Spa)
Daniel will get that second seat at RB. With respect to Yuki, I don't think RB wants to put fiery character like max and yuki in the same team. because of that I think Daniel will get it because at the end of the day, like it or not, RB is Max's team.
I reckon that Max could take that pressure and temperament. After all, it's not like he has never met Yuki before. He would've already gotten a measure of him and figured out a plan.
You gotta calm down with all the Stake jokes, youre going to run out of steaks by the end of the season!
I have quotas to meat.
I can really see Yuki at RB
I am manifesting this into reality.
Boy, HAAS is already not starting the year on good note! Possibly not even making the opening race? YIKES!!
Yeah...it reminds me of Williams in 2019.
Ferrari/Mercedes aged well! 😂
F1. Always guaranteed to throw curve balls!
I think if Lewis stays in F1 for 2025, we'll see George move team soon. He wants to be competitive too much to keep playing second fiddle
I reckon if things don't change, George and Lando might swap for 2026.
Hear me out: Vettel will rejoin F1 next to Hülkenberg at Sauber, Perez takes the Haas spot and Vesti gets the Williams seat. Also I agree with the idea of Mick driving for Alpine, he makes the most sense next to Gasly.
I would be thrilled to see Seb as a team principal or better yet, the boss of F1.
The boss of F1? Now that's something i would like to see
I honestly think kmag will replace logan/alex in 2025. They need the danish money especially if alex leaves williams.
I think Kevin is finished after Haas. The chap seems quite disillusioned after Haas fell off.
Bottas to the tour de france
I wouldn't be surprised if he does some kind of training to end up in the Olympics.
Everybody is curious what's going on with McLaren
LawVS(fan of McLaren): best i can do is 2025 driver lineup prediction
😂😂
Did it already!
baked in, two very talented lads!@@LawVS
I completely disagree with Mick and believe with the new TP they won't do the same mistake as with Piastri and bring up a new driver from their academy. Who will this be? IMO it's Martin's seat to lose
That's fair enough. I do kind of hope Jack Doohan, their chosen apprentice, will get his chance.
