max just has that killer instinct, he doesn't fold under pressure and he will go for any gap, whether he crashes or not and he's done his fair share of that and lewis. Max will make you crash if he has too and I think that in itself is a skill (Kappa) - Max is on fire right now and I don't see anyone contesting the WDC really.
Max has made the least amount of crashes in the past two years. He use to crash because he was driving the 3rd best car on the grid, and had to take every chance het got. If I'm not mistaken his only accident was at Silverstone breaking a wing on pit Exit. GR drove into him twice but that wasn't Max fault.
I'm a Max fan, but with this level of dominance I can almost take a Max win for granted. Because of this I'm not interested in who is winning, but who is in 2nd. Max doesn't even count. The dream would be for someone to get close enough to make it a fight. Winning is nice, but winning when you had to struggle for it feels so much better.
I think most people agree that Max and RB will dominate this year, and not many people are expecting other teams to challenge for the title. However, 2025 could be hella interesting, as Mclaren and Aston's development cycles end and their goals are to fight for the 2025 titles when the bigger teams like RB, Ferrari and Merc are probably more focused on the 2026 reg changes and nailing them off of the bat.
internal politics also screwed them. ferrari chose to develop the car around sainz (the driver not in the championship battle) rather than leclerc whereas red bull has always developed around max...
We need a coalition of teams to beat him. One race Carlos takes him out, another race Oscar, another Stroll, ..... so on. We will see tight competition then. Perez can also join the party for taking Max out.
Drivers legacy speak for the driver and not the fans. mouth can’t see anything it is what on paper and what the driver have done on the race track speak for their greatness fax’s
I think the thing most people don't realise is the redbull wasn't dominant in a normal way like its was beside Singapore and arguably vegas never lower 2nd on raw pace but it also was like the merc in 2020 0.5 to 2.0 seconds faster above its competitors But it was so efficient like it really made pirrellis look like Bridgestones of 2010 but because it was so efficient it really looked and was seconds faster especially when tire wear kicks in I think i would be surprised if this year the car doesn't work
@@emilekaram6094 no not even close because in terms of gap it was no way as dominant however because of the reliability back in the day there was always somewhat of a possibility it could brake
It's 100% sure max will dominate the 2024 season but there's 2 ways : 1- he's not gonna be as dominant as 2023 and there will be 4 drivers who will win at least 1 race (Alonso, lewis norris piastri imo) 2- and I wouldn't be surprised, he wins every single races of 2024
@@suckieduckie I guess it's possible, but you look at the average starting positions on the grid and you don't often see a McLaren on the front row. The few occasions Lando has got there, he's not been able to get it done. If MCL build a better car than Merc this year, maybe, but Lewis has Lando and Oscar beat by a mile, Ferrari are better and Besides Max, who's likely to win? Charles, Carlos, Checo and Lewis. Checo becuase he's got the car, Chales because he gets poles in a Ferrari, Carlos because he's got something to prove and Lewis, because he's Lewis. Max is on another level now, but circumstances being what they are, I pick these four as the most likely suspects.
I enjoyed the 2023 season by keeping in mind that we are currently watching the next legend in the works. A lot of people disliked Hamilton, Schumacher and all the other extremely dominant racers back in the day. But are now viewed as heroes. This will also be the case with Verstappen. The 2023 season gave a lot of great racing in pretty much all the positions except for p1. That is where i found all my enjoyment this season. And probably will this year too.
Valteri Bottas is a legend 😂😂 i respect him a lot. • • • We live in times when it's hard to admit who the team favors. instead of focusing on winning the championship for one of the two drivers, the team argues who is better and if they have the opportunity to prove themselves, they do not listen to orders. this was the case with Saints many times.

Lets just say for Max to not get his 4th WDC things has to go terribly wrong for him. Even if other teams make huge gains they wont beat RB that's at least 6 months ahead in development.
It doesn't matter whether it's cold, whether it's raining hard, whether it's terribly hot, whether he starts from pole 1, or from position 14, or whether there is suddenly a red flag. He always gets away well and is completely under control. With start at pole 1 or 2 He is the first through turn 1. In addition, he looks further than that and decides for himself that he needs to change tires, etc. etc. Afterwards he doesn't complain about “Why did I have to change tires?” LOL
im a max fan and I had the exact same reaction during the monaco qualifying. I wanted and still want alonso to get a win so badly😭. But it was like the ghost of ayrton senna took over the car from max in sector 3 🤯
I dont see any other driver besting Verstappen either, cause he really brought tire management, cornering, car control, driving in the wet skills etc to a whole other level. And despite both Alonso and Hamilton (who to my opinion also are the only two ones who could pose a serious threat) would have to up their tire management, cornering etc game a well. And Im not sure if they are able to do so. McLaren would be the rookie's choice, but think I experience in the end would neck them.
Well, you've earned yourself a new sub with this hilarious but accurate video, humor on point, realism on point, Alonso fan.. on point. And yes, people like to claim "it's all in the car, anyone would dominate in that car", which is as ridiculous a notion as when people said that about Lewis and Mercedes. Perez is no slouch, he has proven in every team he was part of, that he could bring his (often unworthy) car to a great finish result, but in an attempt to keep up with Max, he over-drives the car and ends up in trouble because of that. Max seems to be born in a race car seat, his baby stroller was most likely a McLaren or something similar, it's not just in his blood, it's in his DNA. Does that mean he is unbeatable? hell no... but for now, the combination of Adrian Newey and Max is a deadly combination on the grid, and the other racers know this all too well, so much so that he's getting inside their heads without even trying. (just look at Lewis) As a Dutch man i am obviously very happy with his results, but i am also realistic enough to understand that this is.. let's say.. over-the-top dominant right now, i want Alonso to get wins, i want Lando to take his first win, i was Charles to do well, Carlos too, heck i'd be elated if Alex wins a race, but as current affairs are.. Max is pretty much untouchable right now. So.. yeah chances are he'll just continue his streak from the last season and keeps dominating and winning pretty much every race. Ty for the (very) fun video Rick :D
Leclerc is just not at Max’s level , in the last 2 seasons you can count on your fingers the number of times Max has ever made a mistake, over the whole course of a race weekend ( FP, quali and race ) . Max is a machine , he makes no mistakes , whereas Leclerc lol , always running off the track , crashing etc etc. As a Rebull and Max fan Ive had the best time of my life in the last 3 years and im preparing for 2 more years i.e (24,25) seasons of Max’s domination and WDC’s 🥰
Max used to be called Crashstappen before he got the best car on the grid, please stop this agenda, nobody makes mistakes when they’re 20-30 seconds ahead of the nearest competitor and 100 points up in the championship. Leclerc is making “mistakes” because he wants to win and against Max in a RB, that requires pushing your car beyond its capabilities. Compare how many “mistakes” Hamilton had with Roseberg (competitive teammate) to Bottas. This stuff is not rocket science, Max is cruising and under no pressure.
HONESTY!!! It's a wonderful thing. The RB car would need to have serious reliability issues coupled with bad luck to not win. Charles....It's good and proper to give Props when due and This kid GETs my props but he and Ferrari each take turns screwing up. Leclerc has trouble handling the pressure of knowing Max is behind resulting in over driving and culminating in a spin, followed by a major mistake by his pit wall resulting in 5 lost places LOL.
Everyone loves to point out how comfortable max is with the car, but every weekend he complains about balance. We haven't really seen him in a car he is 100% comfortable with
There were a couple of races where he was very happy with the car and balance and they nailed it right from fp1. After those races he made comments like, this car was a rocket ship or this car is on rails. He admits it when everything is going perfect. And he also accepts it that it's impossible to be always perfect, but to as close as possible to it.
I was COMPLETELY fine until exactly 11:52 - I was just kinda going "Yeah yeah, first driver, give full priority on everything, etc." like the tired conversation everybody has had for decades... I was NOT expecting the suggestion of a Kamikaze technique - but it did work with Bottas in '21, so I'd say it's worth a shot lmao The fkn whiplash I got when you said that was amazing, liked and subbed. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND I hit play and you mentioned Bottas 2021 as well.
Worth noting that Max was also very crashy when his car wasn't up to scratch. If Leclerc is given a car that suits him, he has proven time and time again just how much pace he can get out of the car, hence him taking so many poles. The problems come in the race because the Ferrari race pace is so much worse. I think you're right 2024 is another write off for the WDC.
let’s rank the drivers S tier will win WDC 1 Max Verstappen A tier can fight WDC 2 Fernando Alonso 2 Lewis Hamilton B tier can kinda fight for wins 4 Charles Leclerc 4 Carlos Sainz 4 Lando Norris 4 Alex Albon 5 Oscar Piastri 5 Sergio Perez 5 Pierre Gasly 5 Daniel Ricciardo 5 George Russle C tier Valterri Bottas Yuki Tsunoda Zhou Guanyu F tier teammates Logan Sargent Estaben Ocon Lance Stroll

You can see that his hours in sim are paying off in rl he just won the 24 hours iracing race he is one of the best sim racers in the world that's why i believe he is the best driver because he does nothing else but race.
sorry Rick great video btw, Oversteering (because even the video didn't make me understand despite me knowing what it is) Is when you steer and your car steers more than you wanted to. Understeer Is the opposite, you steer and your car steers less than you wanted to. Max simply is used to oversteering and that's great. That's like being used to high DPS on a gaming mouse, which I'm definitely not, but definitely makes you turn around very fast. You just have to be careful in context of F1 of the vehicle's capabilities on oversteering so you don't spin.
it aged pretty well. Max won. McLaren were their closest competitors and actuually won the constructors. Prolly couldve won the drivers one as well if they followed what rick suggested and piastri went ahead and screwed max in at least 2 or 3 races
Absolute facts. Max not winning would be a cosmological anomaly. Like this dude is a villain at this point. If someone beats him then there is not a single person thats sad about it. And finally. I love Alonso ❤. I will start demonic rituals and sell my soul for the dude to win.
ok, I like your channel. I think 5 months later this vid might be a little harder to swallow than it was at the beginning of the season. I didn't even extend my F1TV subscription because I figured it was gonna be all Max all the time. And it WAS for a bit. But I think maybe he'll atleast have to fight a little bit this year, knowing now what you didn't know then. It's actually fun to watch again. And I did last month re buy my subscription to F1TV. Lewis is finishing on the podium and winning races, McLaren WTF is happening at McLaren? Who saw that coming? This might be the most exciting season in F1 for a while. Max will probably still win the Chamionship but at least it's not just boring Max wins every time all year.
Everytime I see someone talk about Max Verstappen it sends me chills like you can say what you wanna say about him but that dude is crazy. He is more than just a person behind a wheel of a car cause when I think about Max Verstappen I think about the god of racing someone who rarely makes mistakes and has no limits and that only thing that can slow him down is his car or his rivals but never himself. And even if the 2026 regulations somehow slows Max down I think he will be back on top with no time and I don't think he will follow the same path that happened to Sebastian Vettel who's end of dominance spelled the end of his career from the start of 2014. I have a feeling that Max Verstappen will go down in history not only as the most supreme drivers in f1 but also the most invincible world champions that nobody can touch.
Totally agree with you he’s a fuckin God and I believe he’s gonna end his career as the undisputed greatest of all time with 8 or more WDC’s to his name and having broken every single record made Shumi ,LH etc
I’ll wait for one of three things to happen, before I spend any time or money on F1 again. 1. A proper financial structure is put in place to allow for more race parody. 2. Street coarse tracks are limited to two races per season and no new ones ever allowed. 3. Max V. learns to speak without showering 💦 the microphone and interviewer. Only then shall I return.😂
I believe the best team composition right now would be Max and Lewis in the 2023 RB. That would be the absolute best team with a ton of competition mainly between these two
I wish to see Alonso, Hamilton and verstapen, in the same car.. This red bull car, is a continuing of the honda car, with Jenson button... also a big surprise. ..
The latest tactic at this time to bring back Red Bull to the rest of the field is to take the bimbo at Milton Keys incident as a moment to "rebuild" the team.

max just has that killer instinct, he doesn't fold under pressure and he will go for any gap, whether he crashes or not and he's done his fair share of that and lewis.
Ooh how this aged like fine milk 🥛
I think most people agree that Max and RB will dominate this year, and not many people are expecting other teams to challenge for the title. However, 2025 could be hella interesting, as Mclaren and Aston's development cycles end and their goals are to fight for the 2025 titles when the bigger teams like RB, Ferrari and Merc are probably more focused on the 2026 reg changes and nailing them off of the bat.
1:23 there is some context missing here, The redbull out developed the ferrari, Leclerc was actually holding up well until after austria.
internal politics also screwed them. ferrari chose to develop the car around sainz (the driver not in the championship battle) rather than leclerc whereas red bull has always developed around max...
Nostalgia hits hard when music at the beggining starts playing. Funny, those were times when Schumacher still rules the F1. Damn, Im old...
I gave up in that hope in the early 2000 when nobody ever fought Schummel.
I think the thing most people don't realise is the redbull wasn't dominant in a normal way like its was beside Singapore and arguably vegas never lower 2nd on raw pace but it also was like the merc in 2020 0.5 to 2.0 seconds faster above its competitors
But it was so efficient like it really made pirrellis look like Bridgestones of 2010 but because it was so efficient it really looked and was seconds faster especially when tire wear kicks in
I think i would be surprised if this year the car doesn't work
If it doesnt work this year were definitely gonne be in for a crazy season
Ok was RB19 more dominant and further from the competition than F2004??
@@emilekaram6094 no not even close because in terms of gap it was no way as dominant however because of the reliability back in the day there was always somewhat of a possibility it could brake
@@RicksF1Addiction oh yeah 100 %
@@randomrexy2135 You mean F2004 was further??
It's 100% sure max will dominate the 2024 season but there's 2 ways :
1- he's not gonna be as dominant as 2023 and there will be 4 drivers who will win at least 1 race (Alonso, lewis norris piastri imo)
2- and I wouldn't be surprised, he wins every single races of 2024
Lando?
I'd say the only drivers that might win a race next year are Checo, Lewis and maybe Carlos and/or Charles (if I had to pick four).
@@mikemelina7395 Really? Not the Mclaren boys?
Max is on another level now, but circumstances being what they are, I pick these four as the most likely suspects.
yea mclaren have a food chance, but landos weakness is race wins
As a redbull fan im gonna enjoy 2024 dominance. Hopefully the regulation changes for 2025 even the playing field a bit tho.
there is no regulation change in 2025 !
What 2024 dominance?
I enjoyed the 2023 season by keeping in mind that we are currently watching the next legend in the works. A lot of people disliked Hamilton, Schumacher and all the other extremely dominant racers back in the day. But are now viewed as heroes. This will also be the case with Verstappen.
The 2023 season gave a lot of great racing in pretty much all the positions except for p1. That is where i found all my enjoyment this season. And probably will this year too.
Well, well, well, this aged like milk bro
Valteri Bottas is a legend 😂😂 i respect him a lot.

We live in times when it's hard to admit who the team favors. instead of focusing on winning the championship for one of the two drivers, the team argues who is better and if they have the opportunity to prove themselves, they do not listen to orders. this was the case with Saints many times.
Loved the cutaway clips, we share the same Humor😂
Hey man, first time seeing your video and channel and just wanted to show some appreciation! Love the style, edits and jokes. You have a great view on things! Keep it up mate
aged like fine milk
you one of my favorite f1 yts because all the images and humor keeps my concentration literally on point 🙏🙏
Thankyouu broo ❤️🙏
When an F1 video makes me squeal with laughter like a delighted piggy, I know I gotta like, comment, and subscribe. Your videos are a breath of fresh air, keep up the good work and the hilarious edits
how the turns have tabled...
Real Talk, your Videos are so good. Pleas Continue!
My ass is still coping that one day I'll hear a Spanish anthem
I belive the quote was "You are watching a master at work", both the driver and the video maker
(just look at Lewis)
As a Dutch man i am obviously very happy with his results, but i am also realistic enough to understand that this is.. let's say.. over-the-top dominant right now, i want Alonso to get wins, i want Lando to take his first win, i was Charles to do well, Carlos too, heck i'd be elated if Alex wins a race, but as current affairs are.. Max is pretty much untouchable right now.
So.. yeah chances are he'll just continue his streak from the last season and keeps dominating and winning pretty much every race.
Ty for the (very) fun video Rick :D
christian horner: "hold my beer"
This video aged like milk
this aged very well, max dominated
I love this channel. You're doing great amigo.
Great video well done. Keep it up 👍👍👍
I was COMPLETELY fine until exactly 11:52 - I was just kinda going "Yeah yeah, first driver, give full priority on everything, etc." like the tired conversation everybody has had for decades...
I was NOT expecting the suggestion of a Kamikaze technique - but it did work with Bottas in '21, so I'd say it's worth a shot lmao
The fkn whiplash I got when you said that was amazing, liked and subbed.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND I hit play and you mentioned Bottas 2021 as well.
I love the final clip with BOT smiling 😂
Quite a competitive season so far if not for landover’s shenanigans
Bro was not cooking with that video 🗣️🔥
came here the day of oscars first win, 7 different race leaders. this didnt age well 🤭 🧡
Worth noting that Max was also very crashy when his car wasn't up to scratch. If Leclerc is given a car that suits him, he has proven time and time again just how much pace he can get out of the car, hence him taking so many poles. The problems come in the race because the Ferrari race pace is so much worse. I think you're right 2024 is another write off for the WDC.
12:12 never saw this comment and expression from Botas" so accurate and maybe there is a similar from LH in Silverstone. I wonder where TOTO's is ? 😁
5:25 Ferrari strategists will see this and be like "Brilliant idea!"
I love that within a short time of period you are gaining al these videos. You totally deserve it! I have a lot of fun watching all of your videos.
I love how this guy uses classic GTA theme songs in F1. Such a banger

After watching the testing for season 2024 Ferrari is LOOKING GOOD Carlos got a faster lap by like 7 seconds I think or something like that so I think if ANYONE it’s gonna be Ferrari vs red bull but let’s be real TUH TUH TUH DU MAX VERSTAPPEN 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
You can tell by how good max is i mean when was the last time he lost his car he always managed to save his car he never lost it.
You can see that his hours in sim are paying off in rl he just won the 24 hours iracing race he is one of the best sim racers in the world that's why i believe he is the best driver because he does nothing else but race.
Last time was monaco 2018.
after that he's became a machine.
sorry Rick great video btw,
Oversteering (because even the video didn't make me understand despite me knowing what it is)
Is when you steer and your car steers more than you wanted to.
Understeer
Is the opposite, you steer and your car steers less than you wanted to.
Max simply is used to oversteering and that's great. That's like being used to high DPS on a gaming mouse, which I'm definitely not, but definitely makes you turn around very fast.
You just have to be careful in context of F1 of the vehicle's capabilities on oversteering so you don't spin.
The video couldn't have aged worse
it aged pretty well. Max won. McLaren were their closest competitors and actuually won the constructors. Prolly couldve won the drivers one as well if they followed what rick suggested and piastri went ahead and screwed max in at least 2 or 3 races
I love the vibe of your videos
Did Lando a little dirty there. Sochi just was a bad call on Landos part, but I personally think he can win if he has a good car under him.
Turns out it's pretty damn close.
This channel is such a breath of fresh air in the F1 community. Instant sub
11:09 LMFAO THAT MADE SPIT MY MOUTH LAUGHING 😂😂😂💀
I mean bro, imagine asking someone "what car do you drive after you got your license?" and they answered, "a redbull f1 car"
Absolute facts. Max not winning would be a cosmological anomaly. Like this dude is a villain at this point. If someone beats him then there is not a single person thats sad about it. And finally. I love Alonso ❤. I will start demonic rituals and sell my soul for the dude to win.
Anyone here after watching landó Norris won first position in Miami Grand Prix 8:22,”well guess what” 😅
I am staying indoors during lightning for the rest of the year.
The crackhead strength and gas station joke earned my subscription 🤣
ok, I like your channel.
Totally agree with you he’s a fuckin God and I believe he’s gonna end his career as the undisputed greatest of all time with 8 or more WDC’s to his name and having broken every single record made Shumi ,LH etc
realy nice and fun video to watch, keep up the great work ❤
I’ll wait for one of three things to happen, before I spend any time or money on F1 again.
1. A proper financial structure is put in place to allow for more race parody.
2. Street coarse tracks are limited to two races per season and no new ones ever allowed.
3. Max V. learns to speak without showering 💦 the microphone and interviewer.
Only then shall I return.😂
This aged like the cheese I left in my fridge since 2019
That was MY MONEY TOMMY!
I believe the best team composition right now would be Max and Lewis in the 2023 RB. That would be the absolute best team with a ton of competition mainly between these two
I wish to see Alonso, Hamilton and verstapen, in the same car..
This red bull car, is a continuing of the honda car, with Jenson button... also a big surprise. ..
Max wouldn't have struggled more to dominate if checo didnt fumble so much. Checo would just be on P2 more often.
Aged beautifully. Max won driving an absolute shitbox for half of the season
The latest tactic at this time to bring back Red Bull to the rest of the field is to take the bimbo at Milton Keys incident as a moment to "rebuild" the team.
