a detective roll for the nerdy repressed puzzle setter, and Would I Lie to You 2024 . Roll on series 2 . for more go to ----- • Johnny Vegas FINED for...
No gore. No stressful scenes. No constant swearing. I love it. David Mitchell is funny and believable. Even poignant at times. Great cast too. I had to binge watch. I couldn’t stop.
Honestly some of the replies to you! To those repliers: I understand being ok with swears, and appreciating the swears if they’re there…much like banging fireworks…but complaining if they’re NOT there, BECAUSE they’re not there??! If they’re an essential ingredient in your life, not just coming from you but coming from everyone, your life is pretty sodding sad. I hope my use of the word ‘sodding’ instead of something stronger frustrates you.
And like BBC Sherlock, it's going to take a squillion years to end up on anything in America. I eagerly await for the first half of 2025, when it's stuck on BritBox.
I haven’t enjoyed a TV series as much for years. I happily binged it and my only regret that it had only six episodes. Just as Suchet is the perfect Poirot, Mitchell is the quintessential Ludwig. Great stuff.
Already hooked. Had to watch next episode first thing this morning. It’s as good if not better than Magpie Murders and that brilliant. David Mitchell is great.
I’m with David on the puzzle murder programmes. I don’t enjoy watching violence and “grit” anymore. I can’t stand the atmospheric dramas either, simply because they are too dark to see anything. Gave up on sherwood for that reason. Looking forward to watching Ludwig though.
It had a similar feel to Jonathan Creek. Having seen the whole series, I think it's much better. I hope they're working on a second series with the same main characters.
It's a great show, I love Mitchell even more now. The characters are great, the locations are wonderful, production absolute top in every aspect. But the characters are the best thing, probably
These people doing the interview just don't know when to shut up. They ask moronic questions and then half answer them themselves, seemingly believing their own opinions hold some sort of value. I felt sorry for David Mitchell.
Given his wife (victoria) has the people-reading and reasoning skills of a top poker player combined with a love of puzzles... will he be in trouble when he gets home for saying she is unlikely to work it out?

Stressful and intense scenes are good tho. Breaking Bad for example is so good in part because of such scenes.
Swearing is simply a part of the English language
Love this …binged watched whole series on iPlayer …no swearing or sex scenes …lots of humour too. David mitchell is so entertaining to watch
Although it wouldn't be too amiss with an odd David Mitchell outburst of swearing here or there
No swearing? Is this the Victorian England again? 😂
Well, that takes all the fun out of it! 😂
I loved it...shocked how good it was!

Ludwig is the best thing on BBC since Sherlock.
Ludwig is basically dorky Sherlock who doesn't do drugs.

Sherlock was absolute garbage
@@Buggatonit’s the 2nd best show of all time.
I just adored this show. Can't wait for season 2.
Ludwig is just wonderful, look forward to series 2 and deserves awards/success
Love David Mitchell

It’s an excellent series looking forward to season 2
Loved it because of the way David played it, I hope there is more.
Best show on tv . David is great and it's mysterious but fun .
David Mitchell is the best!
Already hooked. Had to watch next episode first thing this morning. It’s as good if not better than Magpie Murders and that brilliant. David Mitchell is great.
I binged it in two days, absolutely loved it! David Mitchell and Anna Maxwell Martin, I couldn’t ask for a better pair!
Can't wait! I love that same things, cozy mysteries!!!
From the US; gotta find this. David Mitchell is always brilliant. I'm intrigued that even Victoria can't figure them out.

Ludwig was brilliant! I had to binge. It was cosy viewing.
I agree, I watched most of it late on, in bed on my iPad 😄
David Mitchell has the darkest irises ever, he looks like one of those Tudor paintings of noblemen.
Just binged watched it! Loved it. Hopefully we get a series 2. BBC would be mad not to
I'm absolutely loving this show
It had a similar feel to Jonathan Creek. Having seen the whole series, I think it's much better. I hope they're working on a second series with the same main characters.
It’s been a brilliant show and love the roles of David and Anna Maxwell and their interplay
Seen first one - David Mitchell being David Mitchell - fine by me.
Can't wait to see it!
It's a great show, I love Mitchell even more now. The characters are great, the locations are wonderful, production absolute top in every aspect. But the characters are the best thing, probably
Amazing show bro !!
I watch you from syria
You are amazing " Mr.John "
I really enjoyed 'Ludwig' excellent entertaining series
Love david Mitchell 😊
He says the location was Cambridge but the Police station set was actually in Stockley Park, Hayes, Middx.
is brilliant
Funtastic. ❤ it.
Anyone else hoping for a series if his and webbs version of Sherlock Holmes where they keep switching roles lol
Was great but didn’t understand the end
Shut Up Alex. 😂😂
Will it ever make it to Australia I wonder?
Need this on BritBox
just finished watching entire series in BBCi . awesome
Only Murders in the Building is massively overrated, it's not funny or clever, Ludwig is leagues ahead
Agree

My feeling for amateur detective stories is always a wonderment that no police detective has told them to just f*ck off.
Oh Alex zip it, I'd far rather listen to Mitchell.
Davids attire looking as unnoteworthy as it should, and the only noteworthy person named Alex Jones I can think of.🫡
Haha love a good would i lie to you reference 😊
Cross between columbo and Jonathan creek
