  • In this video, I'm sharing what my hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon has to do with living WELL with gastroparesis. I have some practical tips if you're hoping to take on a big adventure yourself while managing gastroparesis but more than anything, I hope this inspires you to think beyond your symptom management plan and do things that remind you just how expansive, capable, and resilient you really are.
As I mention in the video, I've just released a new on-demand program in which I share all of my best tips and insights for truly THRIVING with gastroparesis. This is the stuff that got me from debilitated by gastroparesis and anxiety to being able to take bucket list adventures like this one. You can find the program here: www.livingwell...

Hi, I'm Crystal. I was diagnosed with idiopathic gastroparesis in 2004 at the age of 23. My experience with gastroparesis has run the gamut, from being malnourished, anxious, and all but debilitated to being a healthy, happy wife, mom, and dual-certified coach, truly living WELL!
I really believe that freedom from suffering related gastroparesis is possible for everyone... regardless of the severity of symptoms or how long you've had the condition. I hope you'll come along as we explore what the inside-out approach to living WELL with gastroparesis is and where freedom really comes from..

Yes would love the cornbread recipe. I am about to start gluten free and need tried and true recipes. Thx

Added what I use as a comment below. Not so much as a recipe as a specific product and some alterations to the instructions. Tons of good resources out there for gluten-free, though! And actually everything in my newest edition of Eating for Gastroparesis is either gluten-free as written or has gluten-free substitutions. Hope that helps!

YES! I love that, Crystal. I think we so often underestimate the power of simply not fearing our experience. That alone has been life changing for me 💖

Hi!! Can you tell me more about the ginger candies please? Where can I get some. Thank you😊

Yes! I use Tummy Drops. I buy them on Amazon. They come in lots of flavors, some are more strongly ginger than others. I get this one, it's on the mild side but I find it's great for after meals: amzn.to/4a7j0oz

So happy to hear from you.
Where can I find your corn bread recipe?

Thanks! It's not really a recipe per se but if you live near a Wegmans supermarket, I use the Wegmans brand gluten-free cornbread mix, replace the egg with 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce, reduce the oil called for to 1/4 cup, and sub coconut milk for dairy milk.
